We had a truly wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — it’s clear that the hosts care deeply about their guests’ experience. The nature around the place is absolutely beautiful, and the quietness made it feel like a real retreat. Thank you for such a lovely atmosphere. We’d be happy to return someday!

The cottage was exactly what we were looking for, even better than we expected! We can’t wait to go back in the Fall. We think it will be awesome once the leaves begin to turn! Highly recommend for a mini retreat!

This was our daughters first vacation out of the province so we were unsure of how it would go as she had just turned 4. We had such a lovely stay at Sarah's cozy lakefront cottage! It was peaceful and quiet — the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The location was great, with easy access to nearby attractions and some beautiful beaches close by as well as some others 1-2 hrs drive away. The host was friendly and made us feel right at home. The beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after days spent exploring. Our daughter was thrilled with all the toys available, and we really enjoyed the selection of board games for some fun family evenings. We’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, family-friendly getaway. We’d love to come back some day - our daughter did not want to come home.

Lina and family were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. When we couldn’t figure out the fire table she was so quick to help us figure it out— to be very clear, it was definitely user error lol. The location was beautiful, the hot tub was divine. It was the best way to spend my 30th birthday. We are so impressed with the whole experience. Thank you times a million to our sweet host. :)

Great spot to visit for a weekend getaway! Even though the cabin is attached to their house, the hosts made us feel secluded and welcome.

This place was better than advertised. It is in a great location, just across the bridge, and outside of the main touristy areas. We loved the fact that it was surrounded by trees, and the space inside did not feel cramped. In fact, we were pleasantly surprised to find that on the back half of the bathroom, there is a walk-in closet area. As a little tip for future users, this area can be used for your clothing to prevent you from having to take suitcases up the stairs. Outside space is great with a deck area at the front of the A-frame, and a nice sitting area beside a fire pit just a short distance away. The fridge and range are modern and clean. Water pressure was great in the house. One of the charms of this place is the fact that there are so many windows. If you want to sleep later, bring a mask as it is nice and bright in the morning. All-in-one washer and dryer was a nice surprise, and the level two EV charger is a great bonus. We will definitely be back!!!

We had the best time at Rolf’s place! The cottage is beautiful, and the surrounding lake and forest were very peaceful. The hot tub and screened in porch were amazing, we spent most of our time there. Rolf was very responsive to messages, and an all around great host. We’ve already booked another trip back!

Jodie and Marc’s airbnb was above and beyond what we anticipated. Although the weather wasn’t what we were hoping for, we had such a great time. They had numerous amenities and necessities that were all provided. It was a great place to have a nice staycation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you have any fur friends, this is the place you want to go! Although we didn’t bring any puppers with us, we were pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness Jodie and Marc provide for your furry friends! The thought that has gone into this Airbnb is impeccable. Would definitely stay here again and again!

We stayed at Jeff’s Cabin #3 during our visit to New Brunswick and absolutely loved it! The cabin is beautiful and provides a perfect getaway experience. It was very clean and comfortable, with all the essentials provided — plus some thoughtful extras like snacks :) The location is also ideal — just a short drive from all the attractions we had planned to visit. Jeff clearly puts care into making sure guests have a great stay. We highly recommend booking one of Jeff’s cabins if you're visiting the area!

Chelsey has developed an absolute hidden gem in Nova Scotia! If you are debating on coming here, don’t. The various types of tiny homes are incredibly unique, from all over the world. The bathroom facilities are excellent and the property has beautiful lake access, bikes, sauna, kayaks and so much to keep busy with. Super close to the valley for restaurants, wineries and breweries. Support this small business owner!

Sarah and Peter were wonderful hosts; easy check-in/ check-out, responsive, and friendly! The cabin was everything we could have possibly hoped for for our quiet weekend outside of the city. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the woodstove made the space feel even more homey, especially during a rainy weekend. We had a lovely weekend and we would definitely love to come back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

Janet Lynn sets everything up with loving care and wonderful attention to detail. The gardens and view together with the cabin are an oasis nestled in a lovely neighborhood just a short drive from downtown Halifax and anything else one could need. Felt very blessed to stay at what truly is a cozy cabin. It was a joy to wake up to the ocean view and close off the day in the warmly appointed cabin interior.

The boathouse is such a beautiful location. We had most perfect, relaxing, unplugged weekend (swam, kayaked, read, napped, forest bathed, star gazed and soaked in the fresh sea air). We were the only guests on the property so it was very peaceful and private and only an hour from Halifax. Hosts were super accommodating. Highly recommend!

A quiet location with a waterfront view deck was what we were looking for and found. The drive through the tranquil countryside to get the cabin or to the highway was a nice start or finish to a day. My buddy appreciated the quality of the BBQ that was on site. Kitchen well stocked with quality cookware which was appreciated.

Cozy little cabin right beside Parrsboro and right on the gravel beach by Partridge Island. The interior is functional and pleasant. The pine interior and skylights are spectacular! Only 2 small things that could be improved: not a lot of hot water so showers must be short, and no stovetop/oven (but there is a BBQ). Overall a great place to stay to enjoy the area :)

James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.
