Great base location for adventuring in the Spanish Peaks area and northern New Mexico. The house is cozy and matches the description. Good for families. Trinidad itself has a lot of potential and has some cool locations.

Trinidad has always been a drive through place for me not a stayover, but this house was very well kept and lovely! A little off the beaten path, it was quiet and peaceful. We had one small trouble the last day in finding something, but when I called our host she quickly and clearly directed me to exactly where it was and all went smoothly! Additionally, we were there for a business trip, and the home had a quick back way to the location we needed which was extremely helpful after long days! Also, the office space came in handy. The only concern we had was that we went during an extremely hot week in Colorado, and not all of the rooms were equipped with AC. Sometimes, the fans weren't enough, but otherwise, we had an incredibly lovely stay especially as a bigger group!

We cannot recommend this mountain retreat enough!! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the mountains, with a river running past the house. It was the most beautiful backdrop. The house itself was spacious, clean, cosy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Kids were excited to see deer tracks on the road outside the house! Amanda was very helpful & communicative through the whole process. Loved all the local recommendations. Staying here felt like a little slice of heaven - highly recommend.

Great hosts and a beautiful property. There was so much space. Definitely not a place for anyone with mobility issues, there are multi levels and lots of stairs. That's only an fyi for future guests not at all a complaint. This property was amazing for all of our needs.

Super cool place to stay, has all amenities in home as listed. The house looks just like the pictures in listing. Nice wrap around porch too. Our host Melinda was super quick to respond to any questions we had. Check-in is super easy. There's a lot to do around the home and there is a park one block away. We will definitely be back again.

We came at the beginning of October and WOW the place is beautiful this time of year. The Condo is situated in the middle of Aspen trees on an old ski resort. You can hike around the place and the people Mercantile store are awesome and have delicious, quick bites to eat. We love Cuchara/Le Veta area and this place was perfect, we will be back!

The condo was darling, just as pictured. It was clean and cozy with lots of updates and great for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The views were amazing and we loved the town of Cuchura. It might be helpful to pack light, the outside stairs up to the unit are bit awkward with large suitcases (I tend to overpack). Thanks for a lovely stay!

It's better than the pictures! We immediately felt right at home. Melinda had everything we needed and then some. The furniture was exceedingly comfortable; we wanted to take the couches home! The kitchen was stocked with anything we could need, and the gas stove was a joy to cook on. The views were fantastic, and we loved the peace and quiet. Our dogs also enjoyed their stay with a wonderful fenced backyard to roam. If you are looking for a low-key getaway that feels like your second home the moment you walk in the door, look no further!

Extremely responsive host and super quiet setting. Very convenient place to access and be able to park with trailers if you’re bringing ATV’s/SXS’s to the area. If you’re particular about cleanliness, this one is for you!

Cozy & clean: My two pillars of Airbnb’ing. Daniel’s place is probably the most well-stocked place I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. Right next to Cuchara Mountain Park and a 5 min drive from Dog Bar. Incredibly accommodating & communicative. Definitely will stay again. 5⭐️

From start to finish, this experience was perfect! Austin went above and beyond: he gave us clear directions, had consistent and great communication, and welcomed us into his home where he made us feel at home and made us a fantastic breakfast with a side of warm and friendly chats. The dome was adorable and after driving across the country on a road trip, it was the perfect stop for us. He accommodated us in every way and the scenery was beautiful. Highly recommend this stay if you’re in Colorado!

This place is super peaceful. Our cabin had a steam shower & sauna, this was so nice to have as this was a work trip. Bed was very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this place for a get out of the city & recharge getaway! Beautiful area. Thanks for hosting us Vivian.

My bird dog Molly and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home has every single thing you could possibly want or need on vacation. Molly loved watching for deer and birds from the patio overlooking the Cuchara River. I loved the luxurious bedding and comfortable mattress! It has a chef’s dream of a kitchen, too. Tanya was quick to respond when I reached out and so kind. We will be back!

Vivian was a wonderful host! She was friendly and her hospitality was beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a respite away from the hustle of every day life. The woods behind the cabin were fun to explore and extremely peaceful. This was even better than the description on Air Bnb. I am so glad I had a chance to unwind and reset here
