Very clean space with everything you need.

The house was easy to find, the instructions for getting in were clear and accurate. The house was as described and pictured on Air B&B. Was very clean and neat. It is located close to the historic downtown area. We had a wonderful weekend.

We cannot recommend this mountain retreat enough!! The location is absolutely stunning, nestled right in the mountains, with a river running past the house. It was the most beautiful backdrop. The house itself was spacious, clean, cosy and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Kids were excited to see deer tracks on the road outside the house! Amanda was very helpful & communicative through the whole process. Loved all the local recommendations. Staying here felt like a little slice of heaven - highly recommend.

Traveling from central Colorado to my home in New Mexico, I had no plans to stay at an Airbnb until my vehicle broke down west of Walsenburg. Once it became apparent that repairs would be needed, I began looking for accommodations. As I was traveling with two large dogs, a motel was not a good choice and luckily, the app guided me to Susan Jane's home. It could not have been more perfect! A large, shaded and fenced yard made my pups feel at home and "the Mainstay" is beautiful and comfortable. I was able to walk to downtown in under 10 minutes and found the neighborhood nice for dog walks. Susan Jane even gave me a jump start when I needed to take my truck to the mechanic! When repairs were taking longer than my reservation was for, she kindly pushed my back check out time. I could not recommend this place or it's host more!

Great hosts and a beautiful property. There was so much space. Definitely not a place for anyone with mobility issues, there are multi levels and lots of stairs. That's only an fyi for future guests not at all a complaint. This property was amazing for all of our needs.

Very cozy place! Plenty of space and Matt was a great host! We truly enjoyed it here and we would definitely recommend this home for families.

WHAT A STAY!! The place was even more beautiful than the pictures gave it justice for. Very quiet and secluded, tucked up in a safe space. The view was nothing I’ve seen in a mountain stay before. Perfect for sitting on the deck any time of day to read, sip coffee or any drink of your choice, relax. Deck was spacious enough for yoga or to lay out in the sun. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook almost every meal at the cabin. Lots of plates, bowls, silverware, cups. I am very very impressed and would love to stay again! Daniela was so responsive proactively and retroactively in such a quick manner.

Dana is a wonderful and kind person with a who cares a lot about the guests she hosts. Her space was inviting, clean, and comfortable. I immediately felt at home and would not hesitate to visit again!

Had such a great time at La Veta. Ski resort was closed but kids had such. Good time sledding!!

I stayed at this lovely studio for an extended stay and it was wonderful. Modern, clean, beautiful art, everything you could need. Mark & Tanya are excellent hosts. Hot tub was a great feature. Deer walked up to the door a couple times. It was peaceful and tucked away, yet close to the town of LaVeta. 5/5

Would stay here again. Joey’s place worked perfectly for my work trip. I particularly liked how convenient parking was for the unit.

It's a small space but it was clean and does have two sleeping spaces: one a Murphy bed and the other a day bed. We used the kitchen for a pizza and everything worked. The star of the show is the view. Amazing view of the peaks directly outside the studio. They have a little pergola thing you can hang out underneath and soak it in.

My stay at Joeys Airbnb was fantastic! The host was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and provided clear check-in instructions. The space was spotless, stylish, and exactly as described, with thoughtful touches. The location was perfect—convenient to nearby attractions and amenities. The bed was super comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. I felt right at home and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!

We chose Sara's place for our first visit to La Veta and loved it. It had great character and was super conveniently located. Everything was as it should be - great bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Thanks for a great stay!

2nd time me and my wife been here will come again next year hopefully. great spot! next year they will have a lift on the mountain I hear. Thanks again to the host! Just a great hidden spot!

Promptly responded. Checked in with us prior to arrival. They knew we would be coming in late and provided a hand-drawn map that looked a little intimidating but that map was spot on. We had no trouble finding the place. As for the stairs, there are 20 down and 22 up and they really are not bad. The place is clean, quiet, and had everything we needed.

Loved staying here! Quiet and exactly as advertised. Great communication from the host. We will definitely be back.

Michael was an excellent host; warm, friendly, gracious and accommodating! He went above and beyond what was needed to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The condo was small but very comfortable and just right for our party of 3; but did have extra sleeping space if needed. The space was warm and charming. We spent one day snowed in (we're from Florida) so it didn't take too much snow for us to just stay in and enjoy the beautiful views. But there were plenty of games and TV if desired. One of the nicest features and very unusual in these times, was the check in and out times. Check in at 2pm and out by 2pm. That is so rare these days and was very much appreciated. It felt like we received full value for our rental expense dollars. And it felt like our host wanted us to feel welcome, comfortable and not rushed, like a real guest!! Thank you, Michael! We loved our stay and that area of Colorado was so beautiful!

We were able to book last minute as earlier plans were canceled, and this was perfect for hiking & fishing in the area. Daniel responded quickly & gave detailed instructions to the condo. It was stocked with everything we needed & the condo very cozy. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the balcony watching the hummingbirds.

This condo was perfect for our short getaway. It was cozy, clean, and the location was excellent. Being at the base of the ski area, we had walking access to the local store and scenic walks. A definite keeper on our list for future stays in Cuchara/La Veta.
