Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Transylvania County

I’ve spent my summers as a kid coming to Brevard and DuPont and Dawn’s house felt just like coming home. My boys and I had a great week playing outside with the fireflies and exploring the property while able to watch the sunset. It was close to everything we wanted to do. Dawn was extremely helpful and responsive and even replaced the coffee maker within hours because she knows how important caffeine is for parents lol. We plan to come again the next time we come to the mountains!

Located in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest, this place was perfect for our Memorial Day week getaway. The host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and relaxing in the hot tub. Loved that you could hear the river stream while sitting on the porch drinking your morning coffee. The pet-friendly policy was a blessing. The property was completely fenced, which was a bonus. We felt safe letting the dogs explore the property. Would definitely recommend!

The place was beautiful and very spacious! We felt right at home and were tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect location for our family that planned to be on the BRP and the surrounding towns. We hope to stay here again.

Great little retreat in Cedar Mountain! Rosemary was a very gracious, kind host and we really enjoyed our stay. We would absolutely stay here in again if we're in the area! Three things to note: 1) entry requires moving a heavy chain and opening a metal gate, which may be difficult for mobility-impaired individuals. 2) wifi cut out frequently and was not fast enough for reliable video calls, if you're planning on doing remote work here. 3) no garbage collection at the house; trash had to be taken during business hours to a collection center. That said, it was a really wonderful stay and we're glad we were able to stay here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

My family really enjoyed our week-long stay here. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our trip! The layout of the house was perfect for our group of five (two adults, two kids, and our pup). It was well stocked with essentials, including dog bags and towels and kitchen necessities, and some great extras, like the closet full of games, which our kids loved and we played every night. The house was clean , in a great location to get to different area activities, private, and so comfortable. We received a really nice and detailed guide with information about the house and area ahead of our first day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Matthew’s place was perfect for our short trip to Brevard. The house was clean and the fenced in yard was great for our dog. The location was an easy to walk to King Street bar and restaurants as well as a 15 min walk to Main Street. We enjoyed exploring the town and Pisgah National Forest. The area immediately around the house is very quiet even with businesses/storage facility around the corner, but it is not in a neighborhood. We would stay here again and recommend this home for other families with dogs for convenience and the yard.

Beautiful home! We especially loved the big couch in the family room. Comfy beds and the outdoor living space was a huge perk when the weather is nice. Would stay here again.

From beginning to the end, Drew was an excellent host. What an amazing property, very clean, great layout, comfortable beds, and it’s proximity to downtown is unbeatable. The porches are well laid out and great places to relax. Quiet, friendly neighborhood.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

We loved Brevard! First time in this city and had a great time hiking all the trails within the resort. The hot tub was a nice ending to the day with beautiful sunsets. We thoroughly enjoyed the community and will be back!

The place was perfect for our family of four. The house had everything we needed and we appreciated the super soft towels and bath rugs! Also, there were towels for the pool/lake, which was really nice. The setting is so peaceful yet there is so much to do within the community. Loved the place and can't wait to go back!

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Our family had a great long weekend at this property. We used it was a jumping off point for trails in DuPont and Pisgah, and spent some time in Brevard as well. Had a lovely walk in the neighborhood to the lake nearby and on one of the mountain trails. Even played an afternoon round of golf at the course. The cabin is very simple but served us well for mealtime and sleeping, otherwise we were out exploring. Would stay here again for a similar mountain weekend in the future. Thanks!

This place was our favorite place to stay in all our families vacations. The house was just beautiful. So open! My parents came and stayed for two nights, and they felt right at home. My children stayed downstairs, and loved the games! My husband and I loved the master and the master bathroom. The couch is super comfy! We used the hot tub every evening. There is a lot to do in the area, Sliding Rock is one of our favorite getaway excursions, about 45 minutes away. Coming back from 55 degrees cold water, the hot tub was wonderful! There is so much to say about this home, it was perfect for our family. The kitchen is top of the line, and laundry room is right off the kitchen, which makes it nice and convenient to wash clothes. Having a family of 6, laundry is a must! Also, the Sapphire Valley Resort amenities is GREAT for families! We rented a John boat to go fishing on Fairfield Lake, the view is stunning! We have fallen in love with this home and already booked again for next year!

Peaceful and private little cabin right on a small river. This was a second visit to Anita's cabin for me and my wife. We loved the location near hiking and off-road driving. Got to see some beautiful overlooks and waterfalls with short drives and hikes.

Beautiful property! The house was pristine, the yard was well cared for and great for exploring. The stream and waterfall, along with the historic mill were incredible. We enjoyed dinners outside, evening walks in the meadow, fireflies, sounds of waterfalls, and campfires with s'mores. Nancy is a highly thoughtful host and provided us with information about the area, fixins for s'mores and an immaculate while also very comfortable house. We explored Pisgah National Forest, went tubing with Brevard Tubbing, swimming in cool rivers, hikes with waterfalls.... and so much more. Thank you, Nancy, for opening your home to us, our kids and dogs. It was perfect!

My husband and I had an amazing stay here. It was so clean and peaceful! The perfect place to relax and be present in the moment. So thankful to have experienced this cozy French cabin again :)

We absolutely loved our stay here. The view was great and getting to see some bears play and climb the trees made this stay the best.

We had an amazing time at Richard's cabin. It was so lovely and peaceful, especially when spending some time sitting in the chairs with our feet in the creek. We even spotted a white squirrel! The kitchen is extremely well-appointed and clean. We highly recommend it. Thanks Richard!
