Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Transylvania County

Absolutely loved our stay here. I'll say our Kia K5 didnt make it up the driveway but it was a nice walk up, use caution if your feeble. The house is so beautifully decorated when you walk threw the door, the live plants made it feel like home as soon as they were spotted. The kitchen was so cute and had everything we needed to cook, the living room was so cozy with the cutest plaid touches to make it pop. The video projector was amazing, we were trying to unplug but took advantage of movies on the couch. The clawfoot tub was one of my favorite things, after hiking it was nice to relax alone. The hot tub outside was so nice, imagine being surrounded by dark folliage for privacy while relaxing, it was also directly beside the sauna. Both surrounded by dense trees for privacy. It was amazing! Hailey was absolutely amazing, before arriving she reached out to let us know if we needed anything she was a few minutes away. During our stay she reached out to make sure things were still great.

This place was perfect for our little getaway. My husband and father in law wanted to Mountain bike and the ladies wanted to see waterfalls and hike. This place was perfect for both of those. Then add in the wonderful food choices, we have Hawgs Bbq (Delicious) and Big Mikes pizza and local breweries on tap. The place was perfectly stocked with everything we needed.

The road to the place was bumpy. The home was nice, clean, and well equipped. Beautiful flowers adorned the property. It was nice and quiet during our stay.

Wonderful place to stay.

Located in the heart of the Pisgah National Forest, this place was perfect for our Memorial Day week getaway. The host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows, making s'mores and relaxing in the hot tub. Loved that you could hear the river stream while sitting on the porch drinking your morning coffee. The pet-friendly policy was a blessing. The property was completely fenced, which was a bonus. We felt safe letting the dogs explore the property. Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect basecamp for exploring Pisgah National Forest. The house was immaculate, and I highly recommend staying here.

My family really enjoyed our week-long stay here. We didn’t want to leave at the end of our trip! The layout of the house was perfect for our group of five (two adults, two kids, and our pup). It was well stocked with essentials, including dog bags and towels and kitchen necessities, and some great extras, like the closet full of games, which our kids loved and we played every night. The house was clean , in a great location to get to different area activities, private, and so comfortable. We received a really nice and detailed guide with information about the house and area ahead of our first day. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! Thanks for the wonderful accommodations!

Matthew’s property was just right for us. The yard is huge and was awesome for our dog and 2-year-old. Toddlers need to be supervised, of course, due to the fire pit and some big steps, but he loved exploring and the yard was clean. It was peaceful to sit back there and enjoy the privacy. The hot tub was so clean and it was nice to relax and look at some stars. The neighborhood is very quiet and we loved that there are multiple business within easy walking distance (don’t need to go downtown) including coffee, breakfast, and ice cream! It’s only 3-4 minutes by car to get to downtown. House is well kept up but not fancy, which I prefer honestly- I felt comfortable there and wasn’t worried that my kiddo would mess anything up. We used the king bed and slept well. Curtains plus blinds helped keep the rooms darker, but we needed one additional layer to be dark enough for our toddler. Some toy blocks and games were a nice surprise. Thanks Matthew for a comfy stay in Brevard!

Mountain View was the perfect place to end our days while visiting Brevard. Lynda & Bob were very friendly & responsive to any questions. The beds were very comfortable & the amenities were very nice. The view was great & it was very peaceful during our stay. Thanks Lynda & Bob for a great stay.

Great place! The hosts are lovely and super helpful. We loved the location by community garden and walking path. The place was very clean and inviting! Also, had everything we needed. Thoughtful touches like dog bowls, dog bed, & dog treats. We would love to stay here again!

The space is even better than imagined. Spotlessly clean. Well appointed kitchen for cooking full meals. The views from the Icarus House space are spectacular. The covered porch was lovely for sitting and dinner when it was raining and we could see the clouds moving over the mountains. The gardens and plants around the house are joyful. We took the recommendations for accessing trails in Pisgah that we could reach from the house - what a treat to be able to do that! The hosts were accommodating and super responsive. Would absolutely love to return!

Kathy is an amazing host, and the accommodations are exactly like the photos. We enjoyed our stay so much we requested to extend another night! Very welcoming peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous stone FP and kitchen backsplash. Decorated beautifully. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were excellent. We had everything we needed. Our dog was welcomed with treats and a dog toy. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to be close to Brevard and the surrounding areas. We will stay again when in the neighborhood. This home was so comfortable and had everything we needed. I felt at home right away. The location is perfect, steps away from a fantastic playground and a short walk from downtown. The back garden was absolutely lovely - we spent a lot of time sitting out there enjoying the birds and the fireflies. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Absolutely outstanding stay! Brian exceeded all expectations as our host. On top of beautiful surroundings and stylish and modern furnishings with more than ample space, Brian’s hospitality was the best I’ve ever experienced from Airbnb. He provided excellent local recommendations for hiking and spots to eat around Brevard. My group and I really enjoyed this stay and will definitely keep Brian’s space in mind for future trips.

Cree’s Retreat was clean, efficient and well stocked. We appreciated the coffee pods, extra towels, and toiletries. Easy parking and close location, but not very walkable (narrow road without sidewalks). Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful place. Hosts are nearby but you have all the privacy you could want. Beds very comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful after hiking. Location is great for Pisgah forest and Dupont. Close to Bervard and also Hendersonville. We will definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin near the river and close to town. It's about a 30 minute drive from Waynesville which is close enough for convenience but far enough away for peace and quiet. The area surrounding the cabin is stunning and private. Charles is an excellent host and the entire experience was well organized. We have absolutely nothing bad to say nor any recommendations for improvement. We would definitely stay there again 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The property was quiet and beautiful. It was easy to find as well. We enjoyed walking and exploring the property. The creek was pretty with a couple of waterfalls. The kitchen has everything you need, except a blender. We stayed at the end of May and did not need a/c. It still feels like early Spring. The spiral staircase is very narrow, so do not pack large luggage. The only issue we had was the upstairs mattress is way too soft. I slept on it, so it was not a serious issue for us. It sinks in the middle. The twin bed downstairs is very comfortable. The Blue Ridge Parkway is very close to the cabin. We visited The Cradle Of Forestry In America. A must see for history lovers. Very interactive museum for children. We had a furry visitor one afternoon. So be watchful of your surroundings. I would recommend staying here.

This was not our first stay, and it was as beautiful and welcoming as if it was. The view is breathtaking, the cabin so cozy and Linda is a perfect hostess. The previous time we stayed, we had waterfalls on our mind, but this time we focused more on just hanging out and relaxing at the cabin. Such a great place to stay for the adventurous and for the layed back!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Dupont State Forest Getaway. The cabin is spotless and tastefully decorated. It's super quiet and the surrounding scenery (which is easily enjoyed by looking out one of the many large windows or from a hammock outside) is so beautiful. We loved the proximity to Dupont State Forest and the hiking recommendations that Brian provided. We can't wait to come back!

Mary was super responsive and willing to help us when we needed to check out a little later. The house was in great condition and it even had more amenities than what was listed, which was particularly helpful when cooking :) Thanks Mary!

We had an amazing time at Richard's cabin. It was so lovely and peaceful, especially when spending some time sitting in the chairs with our feet in the creek. We even spotted a white squirrel! The kitchen is extremely well-appointed and clean. We highly recommend it. Thanks Richard!

We had a great stay at this cabin. It was clean, exactly as described, and located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. There were plenty of great hiking trails nearby, which made it the perfect getaway for anyone looking to relax and explore the outdoors. David was an excellent host, very proactive with communication and always quick to respond. I would absolutely stay here again!
