We loved our stay. Carol was really friendly and helpful and had provided us with provisions for our arrival. The property totally matched its description.

Bright and welcoming studio, cleverly designed, great value and in an amazingly peaceful area. Ruth and her husband were friendly and helpful hosts. We wanted a quiet night in with our son who's living in Manchester, the hob, microwave and supplies in the kitchenette area had what we needed to cook a nice little meal and to relax with a drink. The patio doors look west onto the garden and it was glorious sitting with the evening sun coming in. It was a very last minute booking and we feel very grateful to have found somewhere which hit the mark so well.

Absolutely loved our stay at the barn! The place was spotless, incredibly serene, and had stunning views all around. It felt so comfortable and homey, beautifully decorated with a lovely aesthetic. The huge TV, thoughtful touches like snacks and fresh towels, and everything else we needed made it perfect. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the location has excellent links to Manchester city centre. Plus, Nancy (the dog) was the cutest! The garden is insanely big, perfect for relaxing. Sean accommodated a special request and even pumped my balloons for me — such a nice host. 10/10, would definitely stay again!

The Bothy was beautifully designed and decorated to the highest standard. The bedding and towels were of a superior quality. The shower room was immaculate and modern - as was the whole Bothy. Parking is off road. We loved the terrace which looked over the fields and allowed us to sit / read and just enjoy the peace and beauty of the location. The Host had provided a comprehensive guide to the Bothy and the surrounding area: detailed walks, locations of pubs and cafes etc. There was welcome pack and lots of treats on arrival. The family were very welcoming and made the stay memorable. I would highly recommend this accommodation; the host has thought through what is required for a superior and luxurious stay. Waking up to birdsong, breakfast on the terrace , coffee at a local farm , a trip to a local village, a long evening walk and maybe a drink at the local pub and then the luxury of the Bothy accommodation - just perfect.

The feathered nest is a lovely small annex with all the home comforts the hosts Linsey and Tim also Sasha the dog were very welcoming and friendly thanks for letting us stay

Cannot recommend the place enough if you are looking for a quiet peaceful location. Property was spotless with some basic food items to greet us on arrival which were much appreciated, milk, bread, fruit biscuits, tea and coffee. Surrounding gardens were beautiful with a wonderful variety of interesting trees and shrubs. We visited in June in gorgeous weather so had meals outside and enjoyed the scents from jasmine and mock orange . Nearby bird feeders were a great bonus and we loved watching the variety of birds including a pair of spotted woodpeckers that were regular visitors. Ash was very responsive to all our requests, including recommendations from him and his family of some local pubs with great food which we really enjoyed. We can't wait to have a return visit

This is the second time I’ve stayed here because I loved it so much the first time. Gareth and Sally have gone to some much effort to look after their guests with clear instructions for check-in/how to use everything, extremely comfy bed and pillows, soft and clean towels and extras such as coffee, sugar etc. It is very clean and tidy and overall has such a cosy vibe. The location is great as it’s right across the road from a supermarket and a pub and just a short walk to the train station. Gareth and Sally are also super friendly, responsive and accommodating. I cannot recommend enough!

What an amazing find! The location is absolutely beautiful – a perfect escape from the busyness of everyday life. It was such a joy to switch off and truly relax here. Everything was spotless and so well thought-out – all the little touches really made a big difference and showed how much care has gone into the place. We felt instantly at home. We’ll definitely be back!

Steven and Janette were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, particularly in getting milk in for us and showing us around their guest bungalow on our arrival. The property is well appointed and comfortable with a large shower, thick, good quality towels, lots of clothes hangers in the wardrobe, a comfy bed, bedroom curtains which excluded the mid summer early morning light. They really had thought of everything we might need. We loved the wonderful garden views which gave us the chance to get in some bird watching while enjoying a glass of wine sitting on the deck in the evening. The perfect end to busy days playing with our 4 year old granddaughter. Thank you so much. We will be back if your availablity matches our trip dates.

We had a lovely stay - set in a picturesque setting . The place was very homely with a lovely little garden for my dog and some doggie treats which Oscar enjoyed - thank you . X

As described the views from everywhere are amazing. Comfortable sitting arrangement in living room for fun time together with family. Well equipped kitchen with all required utensils. comfortable and cozy beds.

Had a really excellent stay here. At this price point (I paid roughly £120 for three nights) it represents fantastic value. The place was clean and tidy, has all the features you need, and Zeesh is a helpful, responsive and friendly host. The place is right near a school entrance, so on a weekday there is a little bit of noise, but not early. Location was great as it was a 5 min walk from the tattoo parlour I was attending. There is also a Tesco extra a 5 min walk away, useful for grabbing essentials. I would absolutely recommend this, and would happily stay again.

This is our second visit and we were not disappointed at all. Amy is so welcoming and had even opened the windows to cool the place down and after our 5 hour journey up in blistering heat it was so welcomed. instructions were clear and we had a lovely peaceful evening and left for our event refreshed this morning. Look forward to our next visit .
