Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Torquay

We had a fantastic stay at Wattle Bird for a friend's getaway. The house was spacious and comfortable—perfect for our group of 8 adults and 2 dogs. Rob and Di were exceptional hosts, warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Barwon Heads, with standout amenities like the BBQ, hot tubs, and a cozy fireplace. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wattle Bird and would love to return!

We felt right at home and at peace the minute we arrived. Despite miserable weather on our arrival, it didn’t dampen our experience in any way - it was a wonderful place to decompress and just enjoy a slower pace, and our young girls were ecstatic to play upstairs and in the yoga studio. Simon and Mella’s home was absolutely perfect for our family wedding weekend. The house was ideal for three families and our grandchildren loved the games and trampoline. The house well equipped and had everything (and more) than we could have asked for. The views were magnificent and the surrounds were so very peaceful. Time in the hammock and looking out to the ocean is a must if you stay at 180 Vista! Simon and Mella responded immediately to any questions l had and were extremely accommodating with check in times. Amazing setting for a peaceful weekend away. A stunning house with beautiful architecture which makes you feel like you are staying at your own private resort. Keryn was very helpful and proactive with check in and orienting us. Hot tub, sunny deck, pool table, well equipped kitchen, what more could you need.

Decided to do a spontaneous weekend away with my siblings and partner and this home was the most perfect place for us to stay! It was extremely clean, easy to get to, beautifully decorated, very accessible for anyone with any needs and so COZY!! Most importantly Eliza is an amazing host, she is very attentive and responsive. No ask was too big nor small & there was a solution for everything! Being a 5 minute walk to the beach is amazing despite the weather ( just means we have a reason to return) It was unfortunately raining during our spontaneous weekend away, so we were unable to utilise the fire pit, however I can imagine how beautiful it would be to use on a day it isn’t bucketing! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to returning again soon! This is definitely a place a consider!!

Such a lush getaway! It was a proper winters weekend and the fire was going all weekend! Love that they provide you with generous amounts of wood! Once we figured out the technology we were watching movies and enjoying watching the weather go by through the stunning windows. It was a great girls weekend and we all agreed we’d love to stay again! Thank you!!

We had an exceptional stay at Karen and Cameron’s place. The house was absolutely stunning—beautifully presented, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The attention to detail in the facilities really stood out. Karen and Cameron were wonderful, responsive hosts who made us feel very welcome. The homemade granola and bread were a delicious touch that made our mornings even better. We couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

We felt very welcome at Lianas place, it's very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay over there :)

We were down for the weekend to watch the footy. Lots of places booked out, it was a busy weekend in Geelong - boat show/racing, regatta, footy, air show next weekend, lucky to find Nicks place available. Walking distance to GMHBA stadium and eateries and waterfront. Nice place, old unit that’s been done up. Garage is small/low, our hatchback fitted but an SUV wouldn’t. A comfortable stay in a good location. Nick was a friendly and helpful host.

Capel Luxe was perfect for our family of five. We were impressed with how spotlessly clean the place was which contributed to a relaxed stay. The host was very responsive to messages. Thanks!

Deb & Pete we're great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay in their well set up apartment that worked well for us for the 3 nights we stayed. Highly recommend staying here and we would certainly en joy staying here again.

We had a lovely time with Liana. She was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Her unit is cosy and nicely decorated and the courtyard is inviting.

We had a lovely stay at the bungalow in Torquay! The place was warm, beautifully set up, and felt like a perfect home away from home. Peter was a fantastic host – incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions. Communication was smooth from start to finish, which made everything so easy. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful location! We will definitely come back :)

The property was at an amazing location. Close to all the activities we had planned including the hot springs and St. Andrew’s Beach Brewery. Nik was timely with his responses and gave clear instructions. Lovely space for 2!

Absolutely beautiful place, The hosts were really friendly and very helpful. Even gave us fererro roches and fresh fruit. Offered us late checkout too ! Really kind hosts. Would stay here again for sure and 100% would recommend this beautiful spot.

Great stay, short drive to the beach. Spa and sauna were easy to use with clear instructions from Paul on how to use both. Complete privacy separate the main house to the back where the bungalow is Would definitely come back again :)

We had a great time staying at Tennille’s home. The house was cosy in winter with the fireplace and only a short walk from the cliffs and beaches and the shops. Would highly recommend staying if you’re visiting Aireys Inlet

Red and his family were so welcoming and friendly . Just a lovely place to stay close to the Bells Beach WSL surf competition which we were there for. If you are here for the surf - this is your place to stay . Red was easy going and a cool guy . Loved that we could walk to the surf competition- though the 25 min hike is only for the once who can jump fences and walk in bush - just up my alley . Still if you don’t want to walk the drive is a few minutes to the beach. Thank you Red - hopefully we will be back next year. Keep singing and playing your guitar - you are darn great at it . We had a wonderful few days in the cottage at donkey run farm. despite all the rain we had a great time meeting the donkeys, checking out the food forest and enjoying the wintery beach. Denise and Greg were the ultimate hosts - helpful and so lovely with our kids. We really appreciated their extra little touches! thanks so much!!
