Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Victoria

What a beautiful little slice of the yarra valley. The heating was very efficient, it was icy overnight and we had no idea. We woke to kangaroos outside the window each morning. The caretakers lodge was much closer to the accommodation than I expected, however they were very helpful and friendly and I didn't see them apart from when I checked in. The house is stunning. The view from the huge windows is lovely. It felt very luxurious and was a lovely place to stay after getting married. I would absolutely recommend Kangaroo Manor to others, and I'd love the opportunity to stay there again one day. The hosts were very proactive, kind, and professional, and gave me the impression that I could contact them at any time. Thank you for a very memorable experience.

The farmhouse itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and spending mornings feeding the sheep was so refreshing—a true break from city life. The hosts were incredibly kind, giving us tips on how to interact with the sheep and even sharing fresh eggs from their chickens! If you're looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a touch of farm life, this is the place to book. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning! 10/10 experience! 🐑💚

Shirley and Bob made our stay truly amazing — we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, and they are such lovely, friendly, and welcoming people. Our family had a wonderful, peaceful staycation surrounded by the animals, stunning views, and cozy fires. It was a perfect, relaxing getaway.

The apartment is amazing, and the uninterrupted view was a great bonus. We decided to extend our stay by an extra day so we could enjoy the resort's facilities. Even though I reached out to Kate for assistance with minor issues, she was very helpful, and her communication was always prompt. We will definitely be back in the summer!

I absolutely loved my stay at La Casa Cubo, it had everything we needed and more. There is such attention to detail in the place, it’s been beautifully and thoughtfully designed from the relaxing dome, to the fire pit to keep us warm on the cold nights. We loved the personal touches like the guest book, hand made cookies, and the little notes around the place. The place was also super clean, one of the cleanest Air BnBs I have stayed at! Libby was so kind and gave great local recommendations for food and exploration and responded promptly. Highly recommend and would love to come back again!

Eric couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. Their starter kitchen breakfast was perfect and delicious. The house was spotlessly clean, and the bedding extremely comfortable. We’d flown over from Scotland, so comfort was important. I would highly recommend staying here.

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent 5 day stay at Wisps of Wool. The accommodation was fantastic and offered everything you could need. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to return one day. It would be a great spot for families!

Lewis went above and beyond what was required - we had long air flights across time zones so he made sure we had the instructions for the lock box. The flat is very close to lots of eateries and Lewis has details of which streets to look along. It’s close to the CBD and just opposite a large park, and the flat is lovely inside. A great place to stay.

Thank you kindly Michelle for a wonderful stay! By far my family’s favourite BNB that we have booked. A well-decorated, spacious, and spotless place with lots to do (both inside and outside of the accommodation). Unfortunately it was a very short stay but that just means we will have to come back another time!

Excellent cabin, had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive to all of my questions. Nice and cozy and warm with the air conditioning , extra blankets and having a fire pit under the starlight was very heartwarming. Great location, 8mins to the centre of Jindy. The lake is also walkable from your cabin which was quite picturesque.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

My favourite AirBnb we've ever stayed at! Convenient location, incredible view over the ocean, cozy vibe. The house was also well stocked with everything we could need, which made a huge difference. We hope to be back soon!

Peter's apartment was exactly what we were hoping for - excellent location, quiet surroundings, warm, a well-equipment kitchen to self-cater and a fabulous sanctuary from which to explore with wonders of the Snowy Mountains just before the busy ski season. Peter and Vicki were excellent hosts - always responsive and friendly.

Deb & Pete we're great hosts and ensured we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay in their well set up apartment that worked well for us for the 3 nights we stayed. Highly recommend staying here and we would certainly en joy staying here again.

Gioia’s home was bright and welcoming, it is in an excellent location - extremely close proximity to Woolies, Luna Park and the beach - if you’ve a puppy - there are plenty of doggy friendly places around. The home has everything you need, check in was sooooo easy and provided a restful home for our weekend.

We loved our stay at Kevin's place. The location was private and quiet and nestled amongst the trees. We arrived at night and Kevin had the aircon and lights on to welcome us into the warm space. Harrietville is a very cute town and not a far drive from Bright. Would recommend for a weekend away to explore!

It’s a great place to just get away from everything and enjoy the nice cozy, warm lodge. Lots of fun things inside and out the cabin, lots of games, easy instructions on how to use amenities. The place was spotless and had a great view from the front balcony. Lastly, the host, they were just simply the best. Very helpful, sending through texts on recommendations and wishing us well on our holiday. Also a big thank you for them for giving us a flexible check in and check out. If you’re wanting to go to mount Baw Baw, enjoy a summer in the trees, or just to get away from technology. This 5/5 place with its 5/5 hosts will ensure you will never forget this magnificent trip. We had a great few days at this cute little cabin. Our toddler loved feeding the chickens on the property. The fire made it so warm and cosy and Robert had set it up all ready for our arrival which was a nice touch. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a little country getaway. This was one of the best experiences that my partner and I ever had. My partner and I appreciate the attention to details that you don't often see these days. From the friendly check ins, the cute food hamper, cake deliveries and food to feed the birds that visit you throughout the day. The views are stunning, spa bath is on point and even though you feel that you are deep in the forest, you are only a 5min walk away from local shops and cafes. Perfect if you feel like nesting amongst nature with a fireplace. If you're um-ing and ah-ing to book - just do it. You will not be disappointed. We will definitely be booking this beautiful accommodation again!!!

We loved staying at Lisa’s property. It was very cosy with both the indoor and outdoor fireplace. The bathroom was gorgeous and the house was styled very well. Lisa left marshmallows and little snacks for us which was so kind. Leo the cat was so cute and great company! A lovely place for a little weekend getaway with friends, we will definitely be back.

Cris was excellent host. Everything was there for us. Unfortunately weather wasn't good to enjoy the big fire pit. We will come back during good weather to enjoy the fire pit. Excellent outdoor settings to have morning breakfast or BBQ

The perfect place to unwind. The running river is a wonderful soundtrack to a peaceful stay. Beautiful location and grounds where you'll be visited by colourful parrots and busy wrens. Spend the day fishing or hiking to the original Kevington gold mining township then fall into a comfy bed for a great night's sleep. Couldn't ask for more!

We had such a wonderful stay at Janine’s place!! We were starstruck by the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The area is truly stunning! The place itself was spotless and incredibly cosy! Truly felt like a home away home. Janine was an incredible host! We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay again!
