There are also several beaches nearby, making it suitable for marine leisure activities and fishing. There is a microwave and refrigerator, but there is no stove, etc. so cooking is not possible in the room. The deck is spacious and open, and a BBQ stove is available for a fee.(Reservation required, fee 4000 yen not allowed) The ingredients are not included in the price, so please prepare them by yourself. Please note that it is not possible to cook at all except for the BBQ stove rented. There are no supermarkets or convenience stores within a 15 km radius. Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
