Beachfront vacation rentals in The Hill

The house was very nice and in a great location for anyone with dog's. Only 5 minutes walk to the dog friendly beach and half an hour's walk into town. As we haven't been to the area before, Clare's recommendations of things to do were excellent for the whole family.

Our stay at the Redhead Beach House was fantastic. The house itself was well designed, spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with a platter and wine waiting for us and everything was well stocked and easy to find. Great selection of board games, table tennis and arcade game meant there was plenty to do when we were at the house. The area was beautiful and quiet. A great beach over the road - both our 11 year old daughter and our dog loved it! Overall, I would highly recommend. Thank you Natalie and Collin for your hospitality.

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect — right next to the lake, and just a short walk from the Indian Coffee House restaurant, which was a great bonus. The cabin itself was very well-organized, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful surroundings and proximity to nature made it the ideal getaway. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and conveniently located retreat.

Spacious and tidy house, view was amazing!

This is the second time we’ve visited Paul’s place and hopefully they’ll be another. It’s a quintessential Australian coast house, full of character and warmth. The beach is across the road and you fall asleep with the sound of the ocean. Heaven! Great back yard, everything you need and Paul is a 10 out of 10 host!

The Paradise Penthouse apartment was exactly that - a slide of paradise and absolutely beautiful! Spacious and luxurious with the feel of the ocean right up to your feet. We couldn’t get over the stunning views for our girls weekend with lots of space for us all to enjoy comfortably - we hardly left the apartment. The home was well stocked, striking a balance of both luxe and homey, with plenty to do and a park right across the road for walks with the dog. Jo and Louise were extremely communicative the entire time - thank you for having us!

What an amazing place to stay with family, the apartment is so beautifully decorated with attention to detail and very clean. The rooftop jacuzzi with amazing views is truly remarkable! Narelle’s place is situated perfectly 2 mins walk from beautiful Little Beach and other attractions/activities in this area of Port Stephens. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may possibly need as well as games and rackets for the tennis court. Parking was available on site. Additionally Narelle was quick to respond to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend Narelle’s place. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Nicole’s place was a lovely stay for my small family. Nicole is a great host who left us plenty of recommendations and some treats in the fridge as well as some breakfast staples which is great when staying somewhere. We would stay here again!

Bernadette’s place is a great find! Beautiful view overlooking the pool and lake, and the complimentary coffee/tea/cookies were a nice touch. Bed was also super comfy! Would definitely stay here again

We just LOVED this place. cosy, beautifully presented- with everything you could possibly need to make your stay comfortable. The only bad thing about this home was that we couldn't stay longer. The whole house was just right for us. 6 adults and 2 toddlers and a baby. Hannah even offered a cot and high chair for us. She is very responsive and thoughtful. She even left some Easter surprises for us in the fridge. It was great having the outdoor balcony upstairs too so we could relax (as much as you can with little ones around) and enjoy the view. We used the house and pool a lot as the children are so young. Great location and a wonderful home.

Adrian’s place was so homely and comfortable. The beds were so soft and we didn’t want to leave that lounge! We had just the right amount of space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Adrian was very generous and thoughtful. Even leaving ice blocks in the freezer for the kids! The pool and games room was a hit with the kids. Great for the couple of rainy days we got during our stay. This was probably the most comfortable air b n b experience we’ve had. Everything ran smoothly thanks to a great host.

Well appointed. So many items supplied in kitchen and bathrooms that I have not seen at any other AIRBNB. Easy access. Very clean and well stocked with cleaning items and supplies incase of an accident or spill so you clean up and continue to enjoy your stay. Location close to cafes and restaurants at Lemon Tree Passage. So many recreational items in shed to help you enjoy the coastal location and water ways. Julie took the time to reach out to us when we did not reply to emails as we were travelling and not opening our laptop and lodging in every day about dietary requirements re type of milk to put in fridge. In conclusion well done Julie you are a credit as a super host.

Nicky was friendly and a pleasure to deal with from the outset. The property was exactly what we expected as a result of seeing the photos in her listing and very comfortable and extremely clean. The view out the front of the unit across the water was amazing. The beds and linen were wonderful, so we slept soundly each night, and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, so much so, that we felt it was our own. We couldn't speak highly enough about our stay, so happy to return sometime and to recommend it to anyone looking for a quality property at an awesome location. Thank you Nicky.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Moneesha’s cottage. From the moment we arrived, Moneesha was incredibly hospitable. She kindly let us check in early and check out late, which made our trip even more relaxing. The cottage itself was peaceful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The serene setting by Lake Munmorah made it a truly restful escape. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return!

We had a great time at Carly & Katie's place. It was exactly as described and very clean. The apartment has great views across the beach and parkland and is just a short walk into the heart of the city or over the road to the beach or foreshore parks and walks. There are great restaurants and cafes close by, and the renewed areas along the river are very close too. We'd highly recommend Carly & Katie's apartment as a great base for wonderful stay in Newcastle.
