Beachfront vacation rentals in Sussex

Our family stayed with our good friends for a long weekend for a total of 9 including our kids. The house layout worked out well to have our family of four on the upper level and our friend’s family of five on the lower level to give each other some privacy when needed. The sunroom on the upper level is beautiful and it was lovely for watching the sunrise! There was room for everyone at meal time and we felt we had everything we needed to eat in each night. The water pressure in the bathrooms worked well and we managed without a bath tub for the littles. The highlight was the beach where the kids enjoyed hours in the sand. It was very private and quiet, perfect for walks on the beach. Lastly, we picked the location as it was near the Kohler Andre State Park and near Sheboygan where we spent the morning at the water park. Overall an enjoyable trip!

This was the perfect getaway to enjoy the gorgeous scenery with the dogs. Cassandra was very responsive and everything was easy from booking to departure. Would definitely go back!

Awesome Airbnb. Right across street from lake, beach and park. Many walkable restaurants/bars. Quiet, great space with comfortable beds and top notch amenities.

The house was nice right by the beach and the area was great. The water was less swim able then desired but I believe it was due to the time of year.

Our groups have been staying at Jennie's place for the last several years and always look forward to returning. The house is great for groups - lots of living and sleeping space for everyone. The set up is super fun with different floors and spaces to enjoy. The backyard is great for having a bbq or a campfire right on the lake. The area is nice and quiet as well as beautiful. Our groups are always impressed as soon as we pull up! The hosts are always available to answer quesitons and offer information and they always respond to emails/text super fast. We will definitely keep booking here!

Conveniant location with access to the lake, restaurants, the zoo, and all the interesting sites to see. We had a wonderful stay. What a lovely place with all the needed kitchen essentials. I can't wait to come back!

This space was exactly what we needed for our road trip to the Midwest. We wanted to be by the lake and close enough to explore Milwaukee!

Patrick and Mindy’s place was great! Clean, pictures of the listing were accurate, they were very timely with their responses. Would definitely recommend this as a cute alternative Airbnb place! Will definitely keep their boats in mind if I’m ever traveling in the area again.

Cool place to stay! Host was very communicative. Note the boat is older so take this into account. This is also in nature so expect bugs and spiders. Overall would stay again.

I stayed here for a quick weekend trip to Wisconsin for some scenic hikes and views. This place was a prefect half way point for us, while being an experience of its own. I never have stayed on a boat before but this place was clean, more roomy than I thought it would be, even an upstair lookout where you can sit and enjoy the views. The host was responsive when we came in late, needed to leave early, and even updated us on a local event we could attend. It might have been an event or maybe it’s on weekends but the boat is located decently close to the main building where they have live music, went pretty late, I loved it. I would wake up and hear the music. Not loud enough to keep you from sleep but loud enough to hear clearly. The bathrooms were clean as well, do not mistake the public bathrooms for the private bathroom. I did at first but you need your keycard bracelet to get into the bathroom, if you don’t need the keycard to get into you are at the wrong bathroom. Loved it!

Ann went above and beyond to be a fantastic host!!! Her listing gives a very accurate overview of the living space and what to expect during this airbnb experience. She makes you feel at home and like you're staying at a friend or family member's house vs. an impersonal hotel. Her wonderful pets are an added bonus. There was a furry welcoming committee there to meet us at the door and to offer snuggles :) I would recommend this airbnb to anyone! It's in a peaceful neighborhood and only a short drive to shopping centers and restaurants galore.

The house was exactly as described in the description. It's not the newest accomodations and the neighborhood may make some people feel a little uncomfortable, but we had no issues at all. The price was extremely fair given the proximity to literally everything (less than 10 minutes from pretty much anything) I had planned for our family of 5 (3 kids under 6). The heat worked well and the water was hot. The kitchen had everything and the TV had Disney+ already loaded/signed in so we really didn't need anything. If you take do bring a car, make sure to anchor the gates because they can swing (our car got a small scratch because we weren't careful enough). The only other thing I would say is that the backdoor screen was a little difficult to open and close, but nothing major. Very easy checkout instructions to follow, it was a great place to stay.

gorgeous views! Loved the area near the beach! There was a very friendly cat that stopped to hang out with us every night. If you get super hot, I’d suggest brining a box fan.

We had a wonderful time at Meracle Acres. The home and property is a fantastic cabin getaway. Plenty of space and feels private and secluded. Trails, fire pit, grill, hot tub, bar/gaming area. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Great weekend stay! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a home away from home. Loved the outdoor space, plus it was dog-friendly with kayaks, games, and a ping pong table. Peaceful location and great communication—would definitely stay again!

Love the vibe of this place and have stayed here a couple times, and hopefully will a couple more in the future. Lex is a great host and very communicative.

John's place was perfect, great location right on the river. Would love to come back again.

We had a great stay. Home had tons a natural light, host was responsive and easy access to beach just steps outside the door.
