Engelbrekt we call our cottage because it was moved here out of Engelbrektsgatan in Falun, when the whole block would be demolished in the 1960s. Now we have carefully equipped the cabin and tried to give it an old-fashioned touch. The house consists of a kitchen and a chamber. In the chamber there is a double bed and a bunk bed. In the cabin there is a shower and a toilet. The cottage is located 20 meters from the lake, where you have access to your own jetty and a small rowing boat. On the large lawn there is garden furniture and a barbecue.

We have renovated our farmhouse with knowledge of building care, environment and sustainability. The beautiful colours of the egg oil temperature adorn the walls and genuine linseed oil paint is a matter of course in a house from the late 1800s. Nice tiled stoves warm up nicely and the kitchen is large and spacious The farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, lake view with proximity to comfortable forest walks with marked trails and sandy beach for swimming. The house is located close to the towns of Falun and Borlänge.

Quiet fantastic location just outside Borlänge city center. Only 18 km to Romme Alpin. Nearest grocery store about 6 km. 2 km to Torsång- there you will find, among other things, cafe, restaurant Älvkanten, canoe rental, motor museum, etc. Bed linens and towels are available to rent for SEK 100/person. Cleaning is included in the price.

I detta nyrenoverade hus anno 1700-talet hittar ni en varm och mysig atmosfär med vackra nejder i Byn Hovgården. Gångavstånd till bad, sjöar och slingriga stigar som väntar på att bli utforskade. Med bil når ni Romme Alpin eller Borlänge Centrum på 12 minuter. Även många andra vackra sevärdheter och naturreservat finns i närheten som till ex. Gyllbergen, Turistvägen Silverringen. Möjlighet att hyra cyklar, kanot, kayak och vedeldad bastu finns. Och vi delar gärna våra favorit platser med er:)

Skidor kan du åka både längd och utför i närheten, varför inte ta en tripp till Romme alpint över dagen! Precis bakom tomten så finns det en äppellund med över 100 äppelsorter.
