Footbridge Farm is a quiet country get-away located on 90 wooded acres, 15 miles NE of Decorah. We are close to the mouth of Canoe Creek, the Upper Iowa River and adjacent to state DNR land. The cozy owner-built cabin has an open ceiling with exposed beams and rafters giving a sense of spaciousness. Local stone was used in the exterior walls and the floor-to-ceiling fire back behind the wood-burning stove. The floors are oak and slate. Detailed craftsmanship can be found throughout the cabin.

A covered outdoor area features a private hot tub and a comfortable seating arrangement, surrounded by greenery. Soft lighting from string lights enhances the relaxed ambiance. Steps lead to an upper level, providing additional outdoor space for leisure.

Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. We came the night before a kayak float with Crawdaddy Outfitters and wish we would’ve come even a day earlier to enjoy more of the beautiful area where the Airbnb is located. We’ll do that next time because we’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay if you have a small family or two small family’s. Host was very responsive and attended to any details swiftly. We had a slight problem with the actual internet company. But the mother in law came by and was nothing but nice and trying to help us get it working. Unfortunately we didn’t get it working but got to see the before and after pictures of the entire project which was mazing and hearing the story . 10/10 would recommend.

This is an airbnb we just loved. We loved the decor, the size, the value, one of those places you'd live in if you could. Tanya left us treats and that was really great, having 2 bathrooms was sure nice so we could both bathe and get ready at the same time. Had a bit of an issue with the power in one bedroom and the living room, but it didn't effect our stay really since it happened at midnight and most of the unit still had power anyway. Tanya fixed it first thing in the morning though before we got up, and said we could check out whenever! i thought that was awesome and it helped us have a nice relaxing morning. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Also Virginia took pictures of all the cows haha. She loved them.

Kelly was more than accommodating with our changing schedule of arrival and departure. We had ample space for all of our family to gather and visit. The patio and grill was an added bonus for our impromptu family BBQ. Everything was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We will be back! Thank you, Kelly!
