Lake side house rentals in Clear Lake

Great stay, beautiful place. Nice to have pool/hot tub area. We went in what I would say was the 'off season' so not a lot of busy at the lake. Clear Lake downtown area had some good bars/restaurants.

This was a perfect place for our stay during the triathlon weekend!!! Neighbors were friendly, walking distance to downtown, and quiet area. Highly recommend it and we'll hopefully stay there next year :)

The view was wonderful and right on the lake. We enjoyed the deck and walking out on the dock. Paxton was responsive and the beds were comfortable!

I grew up around Clear Lake, but now only come to visit. We really liked this place! The house sits just high enough for a great view of the lake with no boat lifts or docks blocking views. The host was very easy to visit with and offered options or suggestions to any questions. The house was clean, fit the 8 of us pretty well, and had ever we needed. The neighbors were very friendly too! Thanks for a great week!

The perfect place for a little getaway. Quiet, cozy and tranquil. It felt secluded while still being in the heart of a very nice community. Would definitely recommend.

The Owl's Nest was a perfect base of operations for a quick extended family reunion and Memorial Day weekend exploration of Clear Lake! Everything necessary for a lakeside retreat, and much more than we had expected. This was our first airbnb, so we were a little nervous. We needn't have been. The host was very responsive in answering our questions and putting us at ease. Everything worked as promised. One final point: I use a wheelchair. While the house is not ADA compliant, it worked fine for me. And the host was proactive in answering my detailed questions and taking measurements for me in advance.

Melany’s place was a really great place for our girls trip. We were able to relax, hang out and have all we ever needed! She had every accommodation we could think of!

Our stay at this beautiful, historic home was better than we could have imagined. The house is a perfect blend of historic home and modern amenities. We all slept so well in the comfortable beds. The home is located within walking distance to City Beach, downtown and all the fun Clear Lake has to offer. Instructions regarding the stay were clear and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay!

Anna’s place was the perfect weekend getaway. Anna was a very responsive host. I would recommend anyone to stay at Anna’s that is visiting Clear Lake.

What a wonderful stay! The host was great with spot on directions and tips for fun in the area. The house is a hidden gem! On the quiet part of the lake with great fishing and tons of room to paddle and play. The common areas of the house were excellent for gathering and being together. The rest of the house was ideal for everyone to have their own space and worked great for kiddos big or small to crash early or sleep late as needed. We’ll be booking again!

We were in the Clear Lake area for a golf trip and this place was in a great location. Located in a quiet neighborhood near the lake. Great restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

We had the best stay! There was plenty of space to move around and was great for our friend’s reunion! There is everything you would need or want! Plenty of extra blankets and pillows! Check in/out was very easy! Loved being able to use the garage to spend some time while it rained! We had everything we needed and could have wanted!

Perfect house for our girls weekend! Very clean and organized. The living space was open and inviting as well as the deck. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to City Park, bars and restaurants downtown. Would definitely return to this house for a family or friends getaway to Clear Lake.

Amazing home and stay. The house felt like a home to us, had plenty of towels, and back up supplies and house hold essentials. The kids enjoyed downstairs and the loft room. The location on the lake is perfect. Kelly was responsive, pleasant and a great host.

The Downtowner house was perfect for a weekend at the lake! The location is wonderful- so easy to walk to the beach and downtown. The house was clean and had lots of amenities. The hosts were quick to communicate with and gave clear instructions. My kids appreciated the books and toys. The neighbor lady next door was very friendly too- she greeted us minutes after we arrived! One thing to note is there are a lot of stairs and no way to block them so it could be a little risky for small kids. Overall, we would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again.

It’s my go to place - when visiting family! It’s clean - cozy - safe! Stay in the Tiny House mostly-My favorite. Bummed - more like dread when I cannot book 1 of the 3 places Larry has. My stay provides a shower and bed, and moments of serenity, after spending most of my day with family. I appreciate the many well thought out items stocked, although I do not use or need many of them. Larry is a great communicator! : )

This was a great place to stay right on the lake. Neighbors were friendly and respectful. It rained while we were there but the covered patio allowed us to be outside and enjoy the lake anyway. I love to fish and Clear Lake is one of the best fisheries in Iowa. Even caught quite a few right off the dock. Respect the local fishing regs. My wife enjoyed reading a book or two and getting away from the world. I definitely recommend to anyone.

We had seven of us staying here for a WWII Warbird Trainer flying clinic for 3 nights. We did not spend a lot of time at the home due to long training days, but was a great place to relax together before getting a good night’s sleep for the next day’s activities. The home has lots of space and bedrooms for sleeping/privacy, plus enough bathrooms for showering etc. Stephanie is a most gracious host and went the extra mile to make sure the home was all set for our stay. We would definitely like to use this home again for the next flying clinic.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brookann’s Airbnb! The home was decorated so cute to match the vibe of Clear Lake, with beachy, cozy touches that made it feel both relaxing and fun. The space was spotless and exactly as described, if not better. Every detail had been thought through, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets and even local touches that made us feel right at home. Brookann truly went above and beyond to make this place special, and it shows. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay that has everything you could possibly need, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

My best experience with AirBnB yet! The house was big enough for the whole family, and the fenced in backyard was great for our little kids. The house was really clean, and we had plenty of clean towels and space for everyone. They even had a gas grill ready to go. Plus there was a really nice pile of dry firewood with lots of chairs to sit by the bonfire. The kids really enjoyed the big elementary playground nearby too!
