We had a lovely stay and Kerensa's place was perfect for our family! The fenced in yard was wonderful to have and the location was so convenient! Everything we did we were able to walk to...and having the grocery store across the street was a bonus! The beds and pillows were super comfy and cozy, and access to the washer and dryer, iron and ironing board ended up coming in handy on our stay. There were ample towels, closet space available, and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some! We would absolutely stay here again!

Our family—including me, my wife, our daughter, and our puppy—had a wonderful time. Ginger was very kind and provided detailed information, including how to use the amenities like the swimming pools. The property was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near downtown, where we had a great time exploring. We’d definitely recommend this place to any family and would love to return on our next trip to Galena.

This place is a beautiful little getaway. Right up the road from the river, it is peaceful and quiet. Lots of fun architecture to see in town and the river walk is lovely. Our dogs were welcomed which made the trip 10x more enjoyable. The house is cozy, warm and feels very much like home. Sue has an entry table in the home with suggestions for local activities, eateries, shopping which was nice to refer to. Overall we were happy with the space. It was nice to know that Sue was in the house next door for questions, but she very much provided privacy unlike some places I’ve stayed. I highly recommend!

Your place was so Retro!! We loved it !! Needs a fire pit and more outside backyard chairs. We really enjoyed the town and loved the view of the Mississippi River. The park across the street was amazing!!! We had the other guests from the other unit walk into our unit 2 times while we were there.

We had a wonderful stay! Doreen was always in communication making sure we had everything we needed. Our family of 5 was looking to getaway for a few days and this was a great place for it! The home was clean and cozy with lots of thoughtful touches throughout to make us feel welcome. We got to enjoy the amenities at the club house, and were just close enough to town to enjoy the restaurants and shops. My kids want to come back already!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property nestled on a hill in the middle of nature. The location is peaceful and scenic—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our dogs absolutely loved the wide open space to run and explore, which made the trip even more special. One of the highlights was the lovely pond on the property, full of fish and a great spot to sit by and enjoy the surroundings. Highly recommend this place for nature lovers and pet owners alike!

Had a great time! The space was perfect for us. The bakery across the road was delicious and so convenient to grab a quick treat/breakfast. A quick drive to downtown and access to everything. Had a few kid toys that my Toddlers loved! Would highly recommend.

Vacationing in Bellevue was a wonderful experience for my wife and also for me. Staying in the tiny home was an amazing experience that we want to repeat time to time again, that we will never forget. Our host went above and beyond with details we would like to relive this experience over and over. The host is very attentive to any and all questions, there is clear instructions on how to operate the home, and easy instructions on check out. We would recommend this spot to anyone, and has a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River.

We had a quick wonderful stay. We are a family of 5 on a cross country road trip so this was a last minute overnight stay. The house was adorable, clean, and cozy. The owner was extremely kind and provided clear instructions and plenty of local recommendations. We wish we could have stayed longer. We highly recommend.

Seeing the cabin in person, it was actually way better than the photos. I was impressed with everything they had for us to use like a full kitchen with spices & stuff to use to cook with. The living room and room was very and comfy. I did like the lights around the place.

One of the things I enjoy about renting a vacation home is staying in a home that is completely different than my own. We have a modern rambler on acreage in an exurb. This rental reminds me of an NYC Greenage Village Loft which is an unusual vibe for a small city like Dubuque and great fun for 3-night getaway. Loved the beams and 12ft plus ceilings with exposed rafters! We held a small breakfast for Nita's 5 sisters, brother & a few adult "kids". The large table and cool main room & kitchen worked great. Everyone loved the unique vibe of the loft! Nita, I and Joe had plenty of space for the 3 of us who actually stayed there. The place could easily accommodate 6 plus adults. We grew up in Dubuque and only get back once every couple years but always enjoy its hills & river setting and 1860s historic vibe. I enjoyed fly fishing the nearby gorgeous Swiss Valley Nature Preserve stream. We will always love Eagle Point Park and Grandview drive. Great long weekend & Loft!

Dawn’s place was great! It was quiet, but also close to everything. The deck and yard were wonderful and it was great being able to travel with our pups. Dawn was really responsive and recommended a great laidback restaurant that had tasty burgers. We really hope to visit Dubuque and stay a Dawn’s again!!!! Thanks!
