Cabin vacation rentals in Stryn

We stayed here for our honeymoon and WOW what an amazing place. The views from the cabin are insane, we were snowed in for a few days but the cabin was the perfect place for a few slow days! Ellen-Kristine and Bjørn we're really helpful and quick to respond when we had any questions. They even got a friendly neighbour to check we were ok when the unexpected snow arrived! For outdoor activities the location is perfect, Stranda itself is very quiet, it's a fairly long drive (40mins) for any nice restaurants, but that was fine with us!

Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Special mention to the toilet in a small independent cabin with stunning views of the fjord:) The hosts are welcoming, kind and available! Best place to stay on our trip!

Kristina’s Sagvika Lodge is a beautiful, private and peaceful haven along the shore. Great location for exploring Alesund and the surrounding area, or for sitting and relaxing with the sounds of the nearby stream and the Fjord. The beds were also the most comfortable on our trip to Norway! I will just note that the path down to the cabin from the parking area is steep in a few places. It wasn’t a problem for me, but I was visiting with my 85 year old parents and they had to take it really slowly going down the path and back up, and we planned the days around doing that round-trip only once. Kristina did tell me about the path when I booked, but I don’t think I fully appreciated it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fine for folks who are steady on their feet. As an overweight 50-something year old, it was not a problem, and I look forward to coming again someday. I would just think twice for folks with mobility concerns.

Cute, cozy cabin right on a gorgeous lake with a million dollar view. I know it's cliché but, the pictures absolutely do not do justice to what the view is actually like. Just perfect! The cabin is far enough from town to feel remote but close enough to town to take care of any grocery or dining needs.

The place was very cozy, quiet and secluded, just as we imagined it. The amenities were great and everything you needed was there. A huge advantage was the charging station for electric cars. Bottolf was a very good host and gave us a few tips for excursion destinations in the area. We would definitely recommend the place.

We had a great stay. This is a beautiful and spacious house with a gorgeous view. We stayed for one night as a stop over on our way to the National Park.

My husband and I have had the most wonderful trip to the absolutely amazing cabin <3, we also ended up extending our stay because it was so beautiful, so 6 amazing days, we will definitely come back :) Everything was perfect. Wow for a place!! We look forward to the next visit there :-) thank you for everything.

We enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The surrounding nature is beautiful and calm and the cabin has everything needed to make the stay cozy and comfortable.

We had a great few days in Jørgens cabin which is privately located between a river and pasture with cows. Behind the cabin you have an amazing view of the waterfalls. Sometimes goats run in front of the terrace in the morning. :) The house was very clean, organized and well equipped with everything you need. We especially liked the kitchen which was very orderly and had sharp knives (which is very rare in airbnbs ;)) We would definitely book again und recommend the place to everyone.

The house is a gem. We felt very comfortable from the first moment. The house is very tastefully decorated and of high quality. It has every comfort and everything is very clean. The house is very quiet and you can enjoy the nature all around. Exactly as we wished for it. Unfortunately, the weather did not quite play along, otherwise we would have liked to sit on the great terrace. Karoline is a perfect and very nice hostess. Communication was easy and fast. We can absolutely recommend Karoline and her house - 5 stars plus! We will be happy to come back.

The location and the accommodation were great! We were 2 people so we stayed in the annex, which is different than the main bigger accommodation. The view was fantastic and the space was great! Well equipped kitchen and quite spacious!

We had the most amazing time at Hanne and Jonas’ cabin! The location is stunning — you can see the mountains right from the cabin. The space itself is beautifully designed, clean, and very well-equipped with everything we needed. It was exactly as described, if not better. The hosts provided clear instructions for getting there and were super responsive throughout our stay. If you’re planning to do the fjord cruise in Geiranger, I highly recommend staying in Stryn like we did — it’s about an hour away and makes for a perfect base. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Went on a girlfriend trip to this cozy cabin. Beautiful view and nice to sit out on the porch! The kitchen had all the equipment you needed, the bathroom and bedrooms were of a good size, and otherwise the cabin was tip top! The host was nice and helpful with booking the ferry from Sæbø, responded quickly and was flexible on both check-in and check-out! We will be back here☺️

Quietly located, old cozy house, the hostess was very friendly and the communication excellent and everything was well prepared and the fireplace already lit in addition to the electric heating. We used it for two for just one night. The bed we used was very comfortable and we slept well. The WiFi was sufficient, but could be improved a little. We will be happy to come back, thank you.

Great place to stay near Stryn. Wonderful view of the Fjords. Cabin was very clean and Alex was a great host, would recommend and stay here again in future.

A great place to stay and a great host =) we had a wonderful week in the house, and even if the weather didn't always cooperate, we were able to enjoy the time. Steinar is great - always available, short-term suggestions depending on the weather and always very helpful. We will be happy to come back =)

Possibly the best air BnB in terms of the quality of the hosting and overall experience. Communication is on point, Frode is extremely helpful & the chalet is full equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. A beautiful location, with panoramic views of the mountains, easy access (ski in/ski out) to the ski centre. We had a wonderful stay & we hope to have many more. Amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in Urke! The house has everything you might need — it’s cozy, well-equipped, and very clean. We loved the peaceful location with breathtaking views. You can go fishing right outside the house and even take the kayaks out for a little adventure on the fjord. Everything was exactly as described, and even better in real life. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay surrounded by nature—mountains, birds, and even a few cows nearby 😊 The house is beautifully designed with modern furniture, a spacious living area, and a well-equipped kitchen. The balcony offers stunning mountain views, and there’s plenty of space to park. The bathroom was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the peaceful outdoor area. What really stood out was the host’s warm and prompt communication—everything was clearly explained and very smooth from start to finish. Would happily stay again!

Wonderful cabin in the mountains. Great views from every window. Comfortable beds and the cabin was nicely decorated and clean. Good location with plenty of nice hikes within a 30 minutes drive. The cabin has a nice porch where we enjoyed dinner and it was fun with sheep walking freely in the area.

Good location close to Olden but isolated to feel at peace , friendly and helpful host, the view from the terrace is magical !
