Modern apartment about 2 km from Lom city center. It is idyllically located on a farm with a nice outdoor area. There are many hiking opportunities nearby. Everything from trips right out from the residence and longer trips such as Galdhøpiggen and Besseggen, Jotunheimen, Reinheimen and Breheimen national park with many mountains. For those with skis, there is access to a ski shed with “skiwise” to take care of the skis. There is a garden and lawn around the house and it is easy to walk down to Lom city center. We are a family with children with active children. Some noise must be expected.

The apartment is located on the north side of Strynsvatnet, 1.5 km from Highway 15, by County Road 722. The apartment was newly renovated in 2019, and has most of the necessary furniture and equipment. Private parking and two terraces. Bedroom with double bed. Corner sofa bed in the living room for 2 persons. TV in the living room, bathroom with shower. Laundry room. Heating cables in floor in living room, kitchen and bathroom. 12 km to Stryn city center, to Loen 22 km. Stryn Summer Ski Center is about a 30 minutes drive away. There are many hiking opportunities nearby.

That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

If you like to go on top tours on skis, we have ski in, ski out in the winter. We have the great Berdalsnibba right behind us.

In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost). The chalet is in a private road and the area is quiet and peaceful. There is barbecue at the cabin for fine evenings with sunset in the fjord. There is a fireplace in the living room and it comes with firewood that can be used if it gets cold. There is also electric heating in every room. Bed linen and cleaning are included in the price.
