The apartment has 2 bedrooms with 4 and 2 sleeping places, living room with sofa group and fireplace, bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen. Outside there is possibility for barbecue and socializing. Nearby are Hofors golf club and Högbo golf club, Hoforsbacken, Kungsberget alpine and Högbo Bruk.

Fantastic lake view in large Villa in Stjärnsund.

Large villa with spectacular lake view in popular Stjärnsund. Uniquely decorated house with that little extra. Two large verandas in both directions, where you can enjoy the morning sun as evening sun and an amazing sunset. It is less than 50 meters to the jetty with a wood-fired sauna and only 300 meters to the nearest beach. Boat with electric motor and canoes are available. An hour to both Romme Alpin and Kungsberget and if you like ice wax bathing as much as we do, are awake open all winter.

A gas grill is available. Large associated parking area with charging pole for electric vehicles on the property. The villa is located 4 km from Storsjön's pearl, Årsunda Strandbad. 30 minutes drive from Kungsberget Ski resort and 20 minutes from popular Högbo Bruk. Currently only access to the lake in winter.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Our cottage, called Visthuset by Långnäs Herrgård (Långnäs Manor), is an old larder from the 19th century. In early 2000s it was renovated and used as permanent residence for some years. Since then it has been a self-catered holiday rental for up to 4 persons. The cottage is situated by the lake Stor-Gösken, roughly 200 meters from Hofors Golf Club first tee and Hofors Padel. Hofors and surrounding areas offer many possibilities for sport and sightseeing. Please see our guidebook.

A home closer to the water is probably hard to find. Taking the boat or in winter time going out to Holmen outside to grill and watch the sunrise is an extra plus. Please also refer to my guidebook that is in my profile. The internet works well with mobile broadband via Telia and others. Winter info: Romme Alpin and Kungsberget are slalom slopes 65 km away. Ryllshyttebacken is a nice family hill 12 km away. 2-4 kicks are available to borrow.

Welcome to our guesthouse in the cottage area Hästhagen at lake Öjaren. A couple of minutes from Högbo Bruk with nice cross-country skiing, mountain bike arena, golf courses, canoe rental, paddle etc. 25 minutes from Kungsberget ski and bike facility. Walking distance to lake for swimming and fishing. 1 km to Gästrikeleden with nice hiking and many miles of bike trails. In winter 5 km skating rink on the lake in a few minutes walking distance.

You live in “Kråkboet”, a converted barn, secluded, on our property. An apartment about 70 sqm housed in a barn, sleeps 6, spread over 4 bunk beds and a shareable double bed, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and shower. We have provided “Kråkboet” with a Google Home device. If you don't want to use it, just unplug it. :) It is, however, an invaluable aid for, for example, visually impaired.

Decorate herb, not electricity and water. Simple kitchen with small gas fridge, gas plate and water can. Fireplace with flat. Outhouse and own jetty. Double bed in sleeping loft and bunk bed best suited for children on the lower floor. Nice view of the lake. Eka is available to borrow. Duvets and pillows are available, but bed linen can be added for 25 SEK/ set.

Separate two bedroom apartment in turn-of-the-century house, situated on the outskirts of the small village of Torsåker with beautiful views of the hills and fields. Perfect for a quick stop or a longer stay. (We are closed over the winter months because of the energy-prices. Welcome back in the spring, we open up again at the end of april 2023!)

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Close to nature but still not far from the community. The cottage is located on the outskirts of a village where the forest takes over. 4 km to the nearest shop and 10 km to the town of Sandviken. Nice berries and mushroom spots nearby.
