It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. This cosy Grade II listed 17th century cottage is next to the village church of Campsea Ashe and is ideally located for Suffolk's beautiful heritage coast, heathlands and forests, as well as Snape Maltings, Orford, Aldeburgh and Woodbridge. Adjoining Smithy House and the old forge, it has lots of character with a carefully curated interior, a wood burning stove, and use of a private part of the garden. It is a 6 minute walk from the train station, the Station House Café and the village pub.

Boaters Hill House (sleeps 8) is set at the centre of a conservation farm in the Norfolk Broads National Park with fine views over the River Waveney. It has recently been renovated with new bathrooms and benefits from its own private hot tub. The bedrooms can either be configured as four doubles or four twin rooms. Well behaved dogs are welcome! Boaters Hill House can be booked in conjuction with our other Holiday property The Cart Lodge which can sleep 6 and is about 80 metres away.

Sofa and full kitchen inside. We are surrounded by lovely countryside. But also only a 10 minute walk into Long Melford. Which has lots of pubs and restaurants. The lodges are our own design. You will not find anything like them in the country. Totally unique. You can fish the lake. Or swim in it.
