Located in a quiet cul du sac in the historic market town of Kendal with convenient access to the M6, Lake District & Yorkshire dales. The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. There is parking available & a private outside decking area. Don’t want to walk ? We are a 30sec walk to the bus stop 2 minutes from the property.

It is in a rural setting about 4 miles outside the market town of Cockermouth but is actually located in the Lake District National Park with stunning views over the fells, Binsey, Skiddaw, Bassenthwaite Lake and Keswick. The lodge has been designed to make the most of those idyllic views and is a retreat for anyone wanting to relax, unwind and enjoy our “world Heritage” status.

Stay at the Lake View Lodge and enjoy lovely views of Lake Windermere and its mountain backdrop. The Lake View Lodge is a self-contained, wooden lodge with access to three acres of grounds and wild meadows attracting a wonderful array of wildlife including owls, red kites, deer, foxes and woodpeckers.
