Nice safe place to stay…

The Vintage Inn was perfect for our overnight stay in Wellington. Room was perfect with nice pub and good breakfast in the morning. Dave was very friendly and helpful.

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Beautiful house and felt completely relaxed. The smell of roses wafting through the window was wonderful. I particularly liked the use of eco toiletries

I had a lovely 3 days staying in Judith’s house. She is very friendly and helpful and lives in a nice quiet area., within walking distance of the town, Tor, Chalice Well and Wearyall Hill. Plus the bed was so comfy! Thank you Judith.

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

I had the most amazing stay at the Corner House. Marina and Martyn were so incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. They have put so much thought into every aspect to ensure their guests have an amazing stay. The Green Room is beautiful, peaceful, has the most comfortable bed and stunning views of the garden. The garden is stunning and peaceful. Cake and tea available on arrival was a wonderful touch. I was blown away by how fantastic the breakfast was. The best produce, so much choice, a real feast and Marina is a fantastic cook. I will miss it! If you are thinking of staying, don't hesitate, just book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you both so much. Just wonderful.

Easy access any time of the day, good sized carpark, each chalet room has it's own access door. Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice setting for a separate dining room

It's difficult to 'say a few words' in the space allotted because from the welcome to the assistance with our departure, everything was perfection. I have owned a historic inn, am a participant in the Air B&B in the US and a world traveler and can say with confidence that our stay at The Cider Barn was the best Air B&B experience we've ever had. Louise is the consummate hostess and excels at gracious hospitality. She is a concierge who is not only knowledgeable but makes the experience happen. She generously provided transportation to and from a wedding reception for us as we found the small lane driving at night quite intimidating as Americans. Even finding the 'hidden gem' was a challenge for us but well worth it and we boosted our learning curve as time went on, all too quickly. The property is exquisite; it easily qualifies for submission in Architectural Digest. We are deeply grateful to Louise, our hostess, and any guest is fortunate to stay here.

The accommodation was very clean and felt very homely. Bridget was a great host and very helpful when we checked in. We would definitely love to stay again😊

I had a wonderful experience staying with my host and her husband, Jim. Jim is such a kind and thoughtful man, on my first day at work, he generously gave me a lift to my workplace, which made a world of difference. We had some great conversations during the ride, and he truly made me feel welcomed and at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim as the go-to person for anything you might need. They both made my stay memorable, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality!

We had the most wonderful weekend stay! The pictures really don’t do the property justice — it’s absolutely beautiful, with a gorgeous garden. Lu was an incredible host, so kind and friendly, and she went out of her way to make us feel at home. She kindly took our daughter to feed the chickens, collect eggs, and visit the horses which was a lovely experience for her. Everything was spotless, the breakfast was perfect for our family, and the pool was an added bonus. We tried to book a few more days but, unsurprisingly, it had already booked! We can’t wait to come back.

Staying with Alison is just perfect and I really look forward now to my visits to Dorset and Somerset. The views are sensational and the facilities are perfect and Alison is such a wonderfully natural person to be around with - what more could you ask for really whether you are in from a working day or on holiday? What a beautiful place to stay. On arrival Pauline immediately moved us to a double room as it was our anniversary despite having booked the twin. It was a stunning room with a 4 poster bed! Everything about the place was beautifully maintained. We were able to explore the gardens at our leisure, again absolutely amazing with historic water ways as it had previously been a mill. Yhe breakfast vets equally of a high standard. The nearby village of Cannington was easily walkable with shops, pubs and restaurants. Pauline was extremely friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay here. Both the house and our room were lovely and spacious, exactly what we were hoping for. We received such a warm and friendly welcome from David & Winston the dog which made us feel right at home straight away. We met Claudine later and she was just as friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and we had everything we needed for our stay. David came to chat to us as we left and wished us all the best on the rest of our travels which was lovely. Highly recommend! Thank you so much David & Claudine!

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

Ian and Wilma were superb hosts. Their attention to every detail was extraordinary. Our space was spotless, comfortable and extremely tasteful. We appreciated all of their recommendations for local sightseeing, their knowledge of local history. They are extremely experienced as hosts and you can tell they enjoy meeting new people and making them feel at home. Breakfast was full service, tasty and prompt. We enjoyed meeting the other guests and recommend the “annex” to those who want a comfortable stay in the countryside. The only problem we had was with our GPS finding the location. Ian came to meet us and guide us back from the local restaurant at the Fox Inn—a great suggestion from our hosts. In fact, we ate there twice.

Avril is an excellent host. She was so kind that she collected me from the train station. Her house is beautiful, very homely (I love foxes too) and comfy. We had brilliant conversations and she gave me advice on where to go for food and day visits. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit the area again.

My second stay here and just as lovely as before. Vivienne is the perfect host and makes you feel so welcome. The accommodation is wonderful with a super comfy bed and luxury bathroom. Vivienne provides a tasty breakfast, and the weather was so nice I had breakfast in the garden every day. I would totay recommend a stay here!
