roberts place was exactly what we were looking for. the house was roomy, clean, and beds were comfortable. Being a marine, it was kinda cool to get that base housing experience again. we enjoyed staying at Roberts during our work in Gwinn. it was clean and peaceful.

Great place!! Very spacious one bedroom and full kitchen and full bathroom was great!! Prepare for a soft bed and plenty of extra everything. Was wonderful view of peaceful farm land. Pictures do not do it justice- beautiful inside and out. We loved the access to laundry too. The family and their sweet doggie were friendly and helpful. Amazing place in the heart of all the great things to do in the UP! If you have any mobility challenges I do recommend selecting another spot though, as this lower level of a house apartment is only accessible down a step grass slope with no walkway, handrails or stairs.

Wanderer's Retreat was THE nicest Airbnb I've stayed at. I really can't say enough good things about the experience. Jennifer and Chris obviously took care to prepare this room in their home with great attention to detail and nice, extra touches (such maps, guidebooks, a binder with helpful information, cups, plates and utensils, snacks, and drinks) that made it feel like they really want their guests to have a special experience. Directions for checking in, getting access to Wifi, and such were all very clear and helpful. The room is off to one side of the house, so you have your own private area. It has a beautiful view of their very well-maintained back yard, so it was fun to sit in the rocking chair and look out the window. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotless and well-organized. Jennifer and Chris were friendly, welcoming, and helpful; and they were very responsive to communications and questions. I hope to be able to visit again soon!

Charming, cozy cabin in the most peaceful setting. The river, the swing, outside table and chairs to enjoy breakfast and dinner on the deck just made it an even more wonderful stay. All the amenities you need and then some and just a short drive into town for dining, shopping, sightseeing and more. The cabin is inviting upon arrival and Theresa is very responsive. We would love to stay here again!
