Shepherds hut vacation rentals in Shropshire

Just came back from spending 2 nights here and the stay was incredible. The pictures don’t do the place or scenery any justice at all! It’s a must visit, especially the 2 farm cats they were our best pals by the end of the stay. Would definitely recommend 🙂

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but what a little gem! We will definitely be booking again. It was such a great and unique experience-like camping, but much better! The shed was so cosy and peaceful, we could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. We had everything we needed and loved the little fire pit outside. Showering with a view of the trees was quite a memorable experience too! We walked to Bridgenorth from the shed, which was stunning-through the woods and past some picturesque houses. This is somewhere we will always remember staying.

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

An amazing place to stay for a few nights away, loved my time there in such a peaceful beautiful location !

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

We absolutely loved our long weekend in the cabins, so peaceful and private with gorgeous across the valley. We particularly enjoyed the hammock on the long sunny evenings! Graham and Pip were very friendly and helpful, giving us local recs and have truly thought of everything - the cabins were well-stocked with everything you could need and were a delightful place to stay. Could not recommend these lovely cabins more for a memorable and characterful stay in the Brecons.

Such a lovely friendly couple, couldn’t do enough to help. Loved all the small personal touches - fresh eggs and milk, homemade flapjacks, even down to the little sticker on the toilet roll! Would defo recommend for a 1 or 2 night stay 😊

We had a wonderful 2 night stay and just wished it could have been longer! The shepherds hut was really lovely with everything you needed for your stay(shower was better than I had at home!) and the setting in it's own cottage style garden,beside a babbling brook was idyllic! So peaceful and right on the Offa Dyke walking trail, which we did a part off from the hut, which very quickly gave us fabulous views across the area. Our host was great-welcoming us in on arrival and was on hand across the road if needed. Would definitely recommend staying here,we loved it!

What can we say! Cherry was so very warm and welcoming. The little extras she supplies. The hut is beautiful, and it was so peaceful and pretty. To just sit and hear just the birds bees cows and sheep was just magical. We had 2 bbqs and had the fire pit lit both nights. Saw a beautiful sunset, and was just the most relaxing weekend away we have ever had. We will definitely be booking again.

We had an amazing few days at Vivienne and Chas' place. The Shepherds Hut was gorgeous, beautifully decorated and so relaxing. Vivienne had put lots of thoughtful touches throughout, including those specific to me and my husband. We're super appreciative and the hut is just what we needed - peace and quiet away from everyone! We really enjoyed our outdoor cooking and just sitting looking at the countryside. Thank you so much!!

We had a really lovely stay at the Shepherds hut, it was a lovely hut in beautiful surroundings, felt so peaceful and private. Michael was great, showed us around when we got there, showed us how everything worked, what to do if we ran into any problems, gave excellent local recommendations, and even got the hot tub warmed up for us so we could use it when we got there, and left us some lovely breakfast bits and necessities. All round excellent, would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Alice’s Shepard’s hut, it was perfectly situated and fully secluded. The hut itself was super cosy, the log burner was a great touch - easy to use and warmed the hut up quickly. The bed was super comfy and snug also. Sadly the weather wasn’t fab for us so we couldn’t utilise the outdoor bbq or furniture much however with the right weather I imagine it would’ve been perfect. The hot tub was the star of the show, we found it to be super easy to use & didn’t take too long to warm up once it got going. The hut faced onto fields as far as you could see, with cows in the field opposite making a lovely bonus. The location was great, it was within 30 minutes drive to all major Cotswold villages - all a must see! There was a local pub which sadly we didn’t utilise due to weather and shops a short drive away too. We’d love to return to Alice’s hut, especially with some warmer weather as I imagine the sunset while in the hot tub to be truly breathtaking. Thank you!!

Jill was so accomodating and went that extra mile. We were there for a quiet birthday celebration and Jill gave us recommendations for places to eat and even offered to drive us and pick us up so I could have a drink. Couldn't have asked for a better host. The accomodation was so lovely and peaceful. It was equipped with everything that was needed and more. It was so cozy and just a lovely place to relax. The hot tub was great and added that extra relaxation after a long day. Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

A fantastic little shepherds hut with the most gorgeous views and star gazing at night. Communication was brilliant too!

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. This place is simply amazing, the hut next to the animals and the views are breathtaking. We loved our stay in which we did plan to go out in to stone for the night but as so beautiful we easily decided to stay. I cannot recommend this place highly enough…you will not be disappointed. See you again soon.

We had the best break away staying at Sharon's beautiful shepherds hut, the scenery was so beautiful, and it was the perfect place to unwind, our two dogs loved the hut and the enclosed garden, as well as exploring all of the public walkways. Sharon is a wonderful host and you will have the best holiday if you choose this little gem for your stay.

What an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful accommodation in the most peaceful surroundings. The hut was immaculate with plenty of facilities. Sitting in the hot tub with the most amazing views has been delightful. An absolute must to visit to recharge the batteries. Highly recommend this lovely hut - We will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at Helen & Chris’s shepherds hut! They are the perfect hosts—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. The hut itself is absolutely beautiful, immaculately presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. Set on a quiet country lane with stunning views towards the Malvern Hills, it’s the ideal spot for a peaceful countryside retreat. It truly has everything a couple could want for a relaxing escape. We highly recommend it and will definitely be returning in the future!

Lovely stay! So peaceful, no internet connection and time to switch off! Only thing to note is it’s a hot tub without a jacuzzi system.

This was a beautiful place - secluded, unique and just as described. The bed was comfortable and I loved the artistic touches throughout the spaces. I also loved walking by and interacting with all the animals on the farm. Would love to go back!
