Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shorewood

The hosts were exceptionally responsive prior to check-in and accommodated our requests for some child items (high chair, pack-and-play, etc.). The house was perfectly clean and wonderfully serene! We enjoyed watching the geese, ducks, and turkeys off the patio. The house could not have been better appointed. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and dining area and the well-equipped kitchen. Perfect for one or a few families!

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

We could not have been happier with our accommodations while in town for a wedding! The house was immaculate, well stocked, comfortable bedrooms and linens - we enjoyed the back sun porch area too! We had plenty of room for all of us to stay (8). And the neighborhood was lovely and very walkable. Definitely recommend this property! Thanks Dai, for being such a great host and so accommodating!

Beautiful location and home, so close to everything and very walkable. The house is immaculate clean and have everything you need for a nice stay. Also, Donna and Peter were very responsive. We had an issue with the beds and they fixed them the same day which I thought was pretty amazing!! I would highly recommend this house for location, comfort, cleanliness, quite neighborhood, and beautiful home.

The house, stay, and host were all excellent! Everything was great, but we specifically appreciated the things that made it feel like a real home and not a rental unit. The entire house was really clean, the kitchen was well-stocked (even with some drinks and snacks for us!), and the backyard was incredible. We felt really comfortable in the house and had an amazing time.

This house was so cute and clean. Everything you need and more. He thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The fence in yard was a plus for our dog. And a adorable front porch to have a glass of wine. Will definitely book this house again when we come to visit our son. Great place.

Can’t say enough about this cozy space, with a living room large enough to really sprawl out and plants perking out everywhere. Walkable and green neighborhood, Peter’s fantastic list of local recs for food and coffee and more — nothing not to love.

Great stay. Very quiet, lots of wild life including deer in the yard. Ken quick to respond to any Questions. I will stay there again.

What a wonderful stay! My husband and I spent a week scouting neighborhoods for our upcoming move to the area, and this was a perfect place central to everything we needed. Brenda and Brian were very responsive, and it's apparent that they put a lot of thought into the unit. We bumped into Brian the day before our departure (they live in the downstairs unit) when he was working in the garage, and had a lovely conversation. You can tell they really enjoy hosting, and we will absolutely recommend friends and family book this when they come to visit us after our move. The parking spot in the back is a great bonus, and we felt very safe here. There's a busy street nearby, but we weren't ever really bothered by traffic noise inside. We walked around the neighborhood at night and felt very safe as well. Lovely tree lined streets all around too.

Definitely recommend this place! I stayed with my three sisters and it was just perfect!

Four friends and I had a wonderful stay in this home during our college reunion weekend. It is spacious, well laid out, nicely decorated and in a charming neighborhood. There were great spots for us to hang out together. The beds were very comfortable. Debbie was flexible with our check in and out times which we very much appreciated. Highly recommend!

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

This was such a nice place. Very pretty. The snacks and breakfast items were a perfect extra touch!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

This location was fantastic for our family of 3! The home is lovely, immediately felt comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor deck area so much! For families, this is a fantastic location. 2 blocks to the beach, one block to nice park on a quiet street and the hosts were amazing at having the home baby proofed and ready for our arrival. Overall, it was the little touches and kind hosts that make this place truly stand out, can’t wait to visit again!

We had a fantastic stay and would absolutely return to Beth’s cabin. It’s hard to believe such an incredible lake experience is just about an hour from the Twin Cities. The cabin, while cozy and charming, had everything we needed. The backyard setup offered a stunning view of the lake and made for the perfect evening meals and hot tubbing. Just a small note for future guests: if privacy is a top priority, it’s good to know that one bedroom has a curtain and the other has a sliding barn-style door. It didn’t affect our stay, but something to keep in mind depending on your group.

This is a perfect place for families! Our young kids had enough space to explore and play and also have quite places for naps and down time. The older kids loved the lake and the lower garage play area. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could need: nice knives that aren't dull, a crock pot, plenty of pans/dinnerware and utensils. The beds feel new and are very comfortable! Everything was very clear upon arrival. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful little getaway on the river! Our host was very responsive and accommodating. The cabin was immaculate and wonderfully decorated. We will definitely be back again!

We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

Our stay at Hygge Valley Hideaway was a picture perfect weekend. Kammi was a wonderful host who clearly loves this property. The cabin-feel was so cozy, the sunset views were spectacular, and everything was clean and clearly marked. We loved our visit!

A great little cabin on a pretty lake. Lots of fish and wildlife around the lake. Our host was always responsive and the cabin was very clean and orderly.

Beautiful house on the lake. Loved seeing the geese in the mornings just hanging out on the lawn. Very comfortable beds , kitchen was modern and many useful utensils !

A very nice place to stay for a weekend in Stillwater. The log cabin house is homey with wonderful views of Bass Lake. Robert meet us when we got there and went through the house and answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay there again.
