Amazing home. Very comfy place to stay.

Truly one of the best Airbnbs we've stay in. The house is better than we could have imagined and lake is even closer than what it looks like in the pictures. My five year old son says his favorite thing(s) about the house is: jumping into the lake, the hot tub, the water play, jumping in the lake, the big couch, the showers, and jumping into the lake... Hoping to come back again!

What a lovely place to stay!! I almost didnt want to write this review because (selfishly) I don't want more people finding out about this amazing getaway spot! 600m walk to a private beach with dock access.. View of the lake from the backyard.. What more can you ask for. Would 100% stay here again!

We loved this amazing view home in Nanaimo. It is comfortable and extremely clean. Brian is a wonderful host, very welcoming and helpful. He has gone the extra mile to make your stay memorable by having so many extras available for your enjoyment like kayaks, crab traps and even extra shoes! The home has an incredible view and water access that offers a beautiful place to relax each day. We saw orcas, humpbacks, and otters from the deck! My 4 yr old grandson loved watching the ferries and float planes. Nanaimo was so fun. We are planning on coming back and definitely want to stay at this home again.

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

Absolutely fantastic stay! Gerry was super helpful and incredibly responsive throughout our visit. The place was spotless and exactly as described. He even went above and beyond to help us with our bikes before our race, which made a huge difference. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again — highly recommend!

The Lakehouse was beautiful and very peaceful. The house is spacious and comfortable with a terrific view! We really enjoyed having access to the paddle boards and kayak and had a wonderful time on Shawnigan Lake.

We had a small group from work gather at April’s place and it was fantastic. So much space for us to spend time together. Everything was set up for us to have an amazing time: the pool was warm and so clean. There are tons of thoughtful touches in the home and the kitchen is incredibly stocked. It’s just a dream, we are so thankful! Our group wants to come back next year! Thank you!!!!

Lovely weekend away, the place had everything we needed. The outdoor spaces are great, the private dock and fire pit were perfect. Would stay here again!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Louise’s Cottage! very clean, comfortable bed, wood burning stove and thoughtful little welcome note. Home surrounded by greenery and only a short driving distance to town.

Lovely stay at Maple Ridge Cottages, cute little cozy space to hangout by the lake. This would be the perfect place in the summer while you can jump into the lake and use the provided water equipment (canoe, paddle-boards) enjoyed the wood burning fireplace at night and cooked our own meals on the BBQ. Only a short driving distance to town.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful lake-side cottage. The place is right on the lake with amazing views. The interior is super cozy, with comfy couches and beds. It's one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, kind, and helpful. We would love to come again!

Julie's place is spectacular. 7 of us came up for a bachelorette weekend and this place did not disappoint! It has everything we needed and more! the back deck was probably our favourite place, gorgeous view of the lake. We got to take advantage of the sleeping nook, and it rained the first night and the sound of the rain on the roof was amazing! I hope to be able to stay there again and discover even more things as we were just too busy to enjoy them all! ! I highly recommend for any occasion! I hope to be able to stay again soon! We had a very peaceful and comfortable stay. We truly appreciated the opportunity for a late check-out, which made things much easier for us. Our son was participating in a regatta on Shawnigan Lake, so staying at Shery’s place was incredibly convenient.
