We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable; lots of privacy as well. The owners are very nice people. They showed us a nearby waterfall (walking distance) where you can swim. Stavanger and the coast are nearby (30-45 min by car). Highly recommended.

Checked out after a few days in the annex of Lise. Everything was as described and out from the photos. Lise and her husband were very pleasant and accommodating with local tips. Very convenient with access to the kindergarten's outside area, only for ourselves 🤩 Thank you for us 😊

We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

One of the best AirBnB stays I’ve had. Inger goes above and beyond for her guests to ensure they have a pleasant stay. Her garden is stunning and she rightfully takes a lot of pride in the work she has put into it. There were a few times I was unable to reach a certain destination by bus, and Inger kindly offered to drive me to the location. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s the perfect mix of privacy, relaxation and engaging in social opportunities if desired. Norway is amazing, and I would certainly choose to stay at this AirBnB if I were to visit Norway again.

Loved the secluded location with a close view of the water and active birdlife chirping in the surrounding greenery. If you're happy with the stove/cooktop being outside, along with the toilet and shower, then you'll love this place as much as we did. The main bed is up a ladder in a loft, and there are stairs to the door. Had all we needed to cook our meals. Easy drive to a lot of varied hikes, including a lovely forest walk straight over the road (if you can find the little path).

Amazing place to stay! Lovely views thru the windows, loved the fire place in the living room! Very spacious house, enough space for a bigger group of people. Loved it!

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

Siri and Jan were perfect hosts, the cottage was simple but functional. Extremely clean. And the views are indescribably fantastic. Sitting on the terrace, a glass of wine in hand and watching the sunset, you wouldn't pay for it for any money in the world. We will be back!

After we discovered this dream house 2 years ago and were enthusiastic, we already knew in advance what to expect. Beautiful and cozy living is not possible on vacation - perfect and tasteful down to the last detail and all with very nice hosts. We would like to live here forever and hope to see you again. The only thing we missed was a little cozy urban environment with shops nearby. Great shopping at the supermarket. Very friendly hostess.

Cozy cottage with a great view (much better than in the pictures) that you get dragged by morning, noon and evening Lovely terrace area with sun loungers The outdoor shower worked fine Easy to find and a nice little path up to cabin Nice that it goes freely around the mountain (bells can be heard all the time) Good location for hiking. The area is so beautiful and wild - and deserted when you get out on the mountain. We hiked to Lauvnesknuten. We met one person on the entire trip and it was on the gravel road before we turned onto the trail. The walk up there is so nice, the trail is good, the last climb a little steep, but it's worth it when you reach the top. The view is indescribably beautiful. Definitely recommended - a little too many private things, so there's no room for guests' things, especially in the bathroom and bedroom We'd love to come back

One of the nicest places we've ever been to. The view is indescribable! We didn't want to leave. Unfortunately, we only booked two nights - far too short. You can walk to the center, and a supermarket is even closer. The kitchen is superbly equipped and has everything you need. We were allowed to even help ourselves to the plum tree in front of the house😍. The hiking areas are quickly accessible and totally worthwhile. Everything was great with baby (8 months), the apartment was very child-friendly (bed and high chair). We'll have to come back sometime. We came down like this, it was really great!!

We only stayed two nights in this super cozy house. Everything was so cozy and the beds super comfortable! We've probably never slept in beds that smell so good! Communication with Kristian and Bente was very helpful and they proactively informed us of exceptional opening hours/resp. Closing times of the grocery stores. Thank you!! The bus stop is just down the street and a bus leaves for Stavanger every hour. We will definitely come back to this beautiful area to explore the hiking trails.

This place was super cozy, clean and beautiful! We spent New Years here and was the best time ever! Knut Olav is super kind and responsive. We had a great time there- The location is perfect! There are hills around to go sledding and its close to both Hovden and Haukeli ski resorts! Perfect cabin! We definitely will come back 🤩🩷

Idyllic place with amazing views of the ocean. Cozy furnished with everything you need. The outdoor area has several zones and superstructures so that you can be outside even with a little messy weather. Many great hiking trails and proximity to the lake and swimming are great when the weather permits. Otherwise, it is easy to drive to Arendal or other exciting small places. Solveig welcomed us warmly and answered questions and recommendations. Would love to come back to this gem of a place.

A truly beautiful stay in the most breathtaking location. A real wild Norwegian experience in the cosiest home. Amazing hot tub with views over the rolling hills and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs provided!

We stayed with two children (6/9) for 5 days in Rauland with Jostein. The place was exactly as described. The house was clean and the amenities left nothing to be desired. The view over the entire valley was stunning. Beds are very cozy. The, from our point of view, other highlights are the hot tub and pizza oven on the terrace. The communication with Jostein was great. The host answers quickly and is very nice and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

The place was brand new, super equipped and absolutely clean - even the little things were taken care of. The small vacation home is very quietly located on the water, the hosts and the neighbors were extremely friendly to us!! We also enjoyed the superbly furnished terrace very much! We can unconditionally recommend the place and the hosts!
