Private hot tub! Quiet, clean, rural guesthouse

SallyanneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a great little place to kick back and unwind. Very quiet and private. But, if you want to go into town, it's a short 10/15 minute drive. The best of both worlds. For us, the quick walk to hiking and mountain biking trails was the clincher. From the property we were able to hike to Fisher's Point and into Walnut Canyon. Countless other trails we ran out of time to explore. The property was well stocked, comfortable, super clean, the hot tub was well maintained and great to have after long days of hiking. There wasn't a thing we needed that wasn't already there. And when we locked ourselves out, the owner cheerfully responded in a few short minutes. We will definitely be back-next time with our mountain bikes. You can't go wrong staying here!

No Roughin’ It Cabin VIEWS-Steps to Hiking Hot Tub

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Suzi’s cottage in Sedona was the perfect location for a vacation home. My boyfriend and I felt right at home the moment we stepped foot in the door. The home had everything we needed to feel cozy and comfortable, (from window views, colorful and artistic decor, ready to make coffee, towels, toiletries , kitchen appliances and even a cute little walkway to the hot tub which was very secluded and in a peaceful location. The home was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed our time looking out from the living room porch and from the window each day at the beautiful mountain during sunrises and sunsets. In the binder, there was a good amount of interesting information to read on the many trails and restaurants in the area along with the history of Sedona. We were not able to get everything we wanted to do in our 5 day trip, so we plan on returning to stay at Susi’s place so we can continue our “choose our own adventure” in the beautiful town of Sedona.

We loved the location of this property. It was so close to Uptown Sedona shopping and restaurants. It was a really nice, private casita. Sitting in the jacuzzi staring up at the stars at night was a nice bonus.

Location, location, location. Sedona is beautiful and unit 5 at the Junipine Resort was perfect for my family and I. We spent hours in the creek below and had several adventures off the 89. Slide Rock, Flagstaff bike park, Trout farm, Sedona, west fork. Endless experience. The place itself was clean. My kids loved the loft. All the board games. I highly recommend and will be back myself!

Cozy Cabin in Sedona's Famous Oak Creek Canyon

GraceRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Beautiful, peaceful, and rejuvenating energy in this place! Brandon was super friendly, responsive, and offered great recommendations. This is a very dreamy community, the cabin is at the end of the road which gives you a lot of privacy. Inside you’ll find the layout to be super comfy and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped. The backyard is super peaceful surrounded by trees and birds chirping. The upstairs layout is straight out from a movie, big windows with a reading nook. We took a stroll around the community via a private trail and were greeted by friendly neighbors. We had no problem driving out to restaurants for food because the drive was a delight to see. Uber eats did make it out here though (for anyone wondering). Coming back from a long day of exploring, it felt so good to unwind here; it felt like home! We felt so much peace and it was the best choice for our rejuvenating weekend. Recommend 10000%

Sedona Solitude: Canyon Views, Hiking, Pets, Swim

DebraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I want to second the review from someone that said if you're worried about staying in a mobile home, don't be. My priority was having a private spot where I could be in nature and the back porch was a slice of heaven. I grilled the most perfect meals and was delighted to watch humming birds sipping on the feeder. I even witnessed a hawk munching on a critter. It's the perfect spot for peace and quiet but also close enough to town if you want to venture to shops and restaurants. Robin was the perfect host with attention to details that make your stay more enjoyable like free snacks and even a bottle of wine! Will definitely book again when I'm needing a quick escape from the Valley.

Sedona Luxury | Pool, Views & Family Fun

JoelRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Nicole's place was the perfect stay for our anniversary. The home is the perfect middle location between The Village of Oak Creek and Downtown Sedona, making everything a 5-15 minute drive. Chapel of the Holy Cross was an incredible stop while we waited to check in, and there are plenty of hikes and views within a couple minutes of the rental. The only "issue" was that the house and pool were so relaxing that I didn't want to leave. Clark's Market had a great selection of food and drinks, and the grill was easy to operate. Skylights provide plenty of natural light throughout the home, the master bath was incredible and the hot-tub was the perfect place to enjoy at the stars at night. We would love to return here with family and extend our stay. Cannot recommend it enough.

Abbie’s Uptown Red Rock Retreat

VikkiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow, one of our favorite AirBnB experiences ever! The house is beautiful and so comfortable with gorgeous views of the red rocks from the lovely back patio area. The house is uncluttered but still had everything we could possibly need including a well-stocked kitchen. The surroundings were completely peaceful and in a perfectly location for walking to shops or driving a few minutes to a good hiking spot. Julie was incredibly responsive from the start and through our visit. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return!

Family of five (3) three kids really enjoyed Carrie’s home. Beautifully designed and maintained. There was ample space. The kids enjoyed the pool. The kitchen was very high end. Our only issue was the lock to the front door being very complicated.

Updated Stylish Casita | walk to trails | Patio

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a cute little spot! It was especially clean and tidy! It had perfect amount of privacy, If you’re into grounding, healing, or a little solo reflecting, the energy around this spot is chef’s kiss. Peaceful, quiet, and with a fantastic location to some great hiking trails! Super close to Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park - so peaceful and worth the visit! (Walkable) Our favorite trails we hit were Soldier’s pass trail - seven scared ponds - Solider’s pass cave (Full loop is ~8 miles — the backside has little shade, so pack sunscreen and lots of water!) Subway Cave - Don’t miss the petroglyphs in the caves just left of the main Subway Cave — such a special experience. One of my all-time favorite hikes! Such a sweet and calming place to come back to after a day out exploring. Would absolutely stay here again! It was the perfect home base for our girls trip!

"Love Rocks" on 2+ acres of land, outdoor dining

JulianaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The best Airbnb I ever stayed. The pictures makes no justice to this place!! The beauty of this home starts even before you arrive . The 20 mi scenic drive from the town will blow your mind! The house is beautiful, full of character, tastefully designed and decorated, extremely clean and seats on a 2 acres property with breath taking views and a lot of privacy. The kitchen is super equipped with everything you need to cook and just enjoy. They have a grill, fire place and a fire pit! In the morning you can see deers walking around the property, rabbits hopping around and many beautiful birds. This place is more a retreat than an Airbnb. Super romantic and cozy!! Suzan, the hostess was the best! super easy to communicate, super helpful and made our stay extra special. I will come back for sure and will recommend to everyone because it is really special place!!

MOUNTAiNS are my neighbors! HOME w/ Pool & Hot tub

AmeliaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Christopher’s place was breathtaking. From the beautiful views to the quiet neighborhood, it was my favorite place to relax and enjoy the beautiful night sky with my family. The pictures don’t do Christopher’s place justice. The beds were very comfortable, I loved the coffee bar, the living room was cozy, and the huge windows allowed in all the beauty surrounding his home. The pool was perfect during the warm afternoon when my kids wanted to spend some time outside! The hot tub was also nice to enjoy the sunset and see all the stars we don’t get to see in the city! Can’t wait to book our next stay.

Your guide to Sedona

Introduction

It’s not easy to stand out in the Grand Canyon’s home state, but Sedona is a geological wonder in its own right. Outdoor enthusiasts come from all over the world to explore the area’s expansive buttes and deep canyons whose sandstone rocks are an unusual rusty red hue. In addition to Sedona’s spectacular natural skyline, the area’s other big draw is something that can’t be seen: Its energy vortexes, geomagnetic spirals that some people believe to be healing and invigorating. That gives Sedona a distinct New Age flavor. Expect to find plenty of crystal shops and day spas alongside art galleries and craft boutiques in the low-slung, Southwestern-style buildings around town.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Sedona

Sedona’s weather isn’t quite as scorching as in other parts of the Southwest. Spring is one of the most popular times to book one of Sedona’s vacation rentals, as temperatures range from the upper 60s to the 80s Fahrenheit. Summer highs are typically in the 90s — pack plenty of sunscreen — though monsoon rains and thunderstorms frequently pass through and cool things off. Autumn temperatures gradually dip back down to the 70s, and winter temperatures are typically in the 60s, with a rare dusting of snow. Pack a warm jacket for fall and winter trips, when evenings can get significantly colder.

Top things to do in Sedona

Bell Rock

Named for its unusual shape, this rock formation offers several ways to take in the views and the vibes — it’s also the site of one of the area’s energy vortexes. Bike or walk the easy trails at the base, or hike the moderate incline along the lower half of the rocks. If you feel like taking your hike to the next level, catch the ascending trail that leads all the way to the top of the spire. The trails are pet-friendly as long as your dog is on leash.

Cathedral Rock

Of all the red rock formations in the area, this towering sandstone butte may appear on the greatest number of postcards in town. The famous rocks are situated near a 286-acre nature preserve that’s criss-crossed with trails for hiking and ATV tours. Only the most experienced climbers should attempt the steep, rugged trek to the top.

Oak Creek Vista

The drive along Arizona State Route 89A headed north from Sedona is one of the most scenic byways in the state, especially as you head up Oak Creek Canyon. The road’s switchbacks are intense, but your nerves will be soothed as soon as you reach the vista point and look out onto miles of red rock canyons and forests.
