Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sedgemoor

Julie was a perfect host, super accommodating, helpful and went above and beyond to welcome us. It was so thoughtful to leave a hamper of food and the kitchen was very well equipped with tea and coffee made available as well as milk in the fridge. The place was exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean, the bathrooms immaculate and there was even shower gel and shampoo provided as well as fresh, soft towels. The bedrooms were super comfortable with everything you might need as well as providing a perfect night’s sleep. I would highly recommend the apartment for anyone wishing to stay in the area. The local pub is a real gem too with excellent food, a great garden and a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Luxurious, spacious and beautifully designed - I would thoroughly recommend Granby Cottage if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in the countryside. Although Bradford on Avon and Bath are easily accessible, so you can have the best of both worlds! Amanda and James (and their spaniels) are very friendly and helpful, and we hope to return soon. PS their dog fields are probably the best we’ve visited, and I would advise pre-booking, as they are very popular.

My wife and I host a family reunion every year for grown up kids and their partners who are spread far and wide around the UK. We chose the Old Angel because it looked perfect to meet a gathering's requirements, looked beautiful, with art and space and calm - that was much needed. On every count Marianne and Simon's delightful property exceeded expectation and we had a truly memorable stay. Everything that was needed was present and I simply cannot fault anything. The hidden and numerous lovely outdoor spaces to relax in were an absolute joy! Thanks to our marvellous hosts -we were able to enjoy a wonderful few days in a lovely home to reconnect with our wider family, and you can'y often buy that!

We had a lovely four nights stay at Suki and Owen's place and really enjoyed it. The views across the rolling countryside are wonderful and peaceful and we enjoyed the sunsets sat outside the barn. Listening to the wildlife and the owls at dawn were also highlights. A great location for both coastal and countryside walks. Cosy accommodation with everything we needed for our stay and comfy bed. Would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Hollycroft Barn, from the moment we arrived Tracey was so helpful, showed us around and made us feel at home, she even baked us a beautiful welcome cake! The barn is absolutely stunning, and so homely, we didn’t want to leave, the grounds are amazing, Tracey even brought down the lambs so we could bottle feed them! Fantastic host and fantastic property, would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning!

We had a fantastic time at Brookside Farm - Swallow's Return was even nicer than we'd been expecting, with stunning views across the Dorset countryside and everything we needed for a few days of rest. The place was easy to find with the directions provided and we were given a very warm and friendly welcome by Charlotte, Jonni, Stanley and Maurice. They left plenty of local tips and suggestions for us in the apartment, which we made use of. The highlights for us were being given the chance to feed and learn more about their beautiful alpacas, eating out on the terrace in the evening at sunset and enjoying the sound of the brook that runs along the bottom of the farm. If you're looking to disconnect for a few days in a beautiful place surrounded by nature, we'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. We had an amazing 50th birthday party at Sophie’s house. This is a gorgeously characterful property with the most amazing gardens, 15 mins walk into Glasto and 10 mins to the torr. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. We had an early check in and late checkout for no extra cost and communication was brilliant throughout.

This place was stunning, my family loved being here. Pictures do not do it justice. Would recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay, a 10 minutes drive down a small lane and you're surrounded by fields, beautiful sunrises. Very peaceful, never heard cars at night and rarely in the day. Cozy writing desk to get some work done. Philippa brought homemade cake and some good, such a nice gesture, makes you feel very welcome.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

David and Pam was very welcoming.Stayed for 1 night enjoyed our stay very cosy everything we wanted and more... The bread and eggs was a really nice.The apartment was close to everything we needed.Would definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this apartment. The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

We got to the Wales Retreat and from the moment we walked in we flet so at home with the cosy features. The property smelt beautiful all throughout. Everything was spotless and even the fridge was equipped with essentials which was greatly recieved. The loaction is absolutely beautiful and I was in love with our own secluded private decking area with the most comfiest beanbag seats! Pet friendly which was a bonus for our GSP - she loved having a little area outside of her own and tje site was very welcoming to dogs. We will really be booking in again although we sre struggling to find your availability! 🙂

Breathtaking views and a very peaceful stay. Very welcoming and helpful hosts - Clive met us at the library to show us how to navigate the roads on the way up before showing us round. Highly recommend.

Lovely, peaceful stay, just what was needed - cabin was tidy, clean and private, lovely touches with the eggs and homemade jam and the animals were the absolute highlight! Nothing better than waking up to find some goats ready to greet you☺️ Carole was friendly, quick to respond and made the experience smooth. Would definitely recommend for a quiet getaway with the option to explore towns and beaches further afield

We had a lovely relaxing stay based at Amy’s cabin. Her cabin was a great base to explore the Jurassic coast and also to enjoy the surrounding countryside. Amy was a great host and made us feel very welcome, my daughter also loved playing with her children when we arrived back to the cabin for the evening. Added bonus points for the very friendly pony and chickens. Would recommend this stay for anyone wanting to explore the area.

What a great place to stay, peaceful and so quiet with lovely views. The log cabin was fantastic, spotlessly clean and fully equipped with everything that we needed. This was a really great find and we will visit again. Thank you Sue!
