We loved our stay. Annahitzin was always helpful and a lovely person. The house met all our needs and was furnished perfectly, with ample kitchen and easy to dine in. Good location. We would go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gaby and Gabo's place! Really nice hosts! We enjoyed the area...it is full of beautiful trees, birds, restaurants, and easy strolling. It is also very close to the historic downtown. We will be back!

What a treat to stay at Karmen's! Great views, friendly neighbors, lots of amazing birds right outside your doorstep, in walking distance to the archeological site Monte Alban, small stores to get food, and the artist town of Arrazola where they make alebrijes. Also, the internet was reliable enough that I could work from home (using video calls)! The spot is about a half hour outside of the city by mototaxi, so the air is cleaner and it's more peaceful than you'll find elsewhere. Karmen has planted hundreds of native trees and plants on the land so there are lots of pollinators, gorgeous butterflies, flowers, and a couple of very sweet dogs. Karmen was a great host- proactive, responsive, and kind. She generously invited me to many incredible events locally and in the city. She is very well connected in the artist and healing communities. What a great deal! Hope to be back soon.

If you’re looking for a stay in a great neighborhood and get a local feel, this is it. It’s exactly what I needed, no frills but very practical. Excellent restaurants and street food in walking distance along with cantinas/cocktail bars. Thanks so much to Renee and Lauro!
