Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Ramet Gorges (Cheile Rametului) as well as three other beautiful gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains and landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be traveled on foot, following a marked trail and also be accessed by a 4x4 vehicle, but only with appropriate tires and dry weather.

Less than 40 km from Cluj-Napoca, the location combines the perfect way to relax in a unique space surrounded by forest, with a great view to the Apuseni mountains. The traditional wooden house is built with popular craftsmen and brings back the old charm of traditional Romanian cottages but in a modern touch with all the amenities. The accommodation is fully equipped and equipped, not exceeding any of the facilities for a perfect weekend with your loved ones.

In the immediate vicinity of the largest bat cave in Europe, right on the river, you can enjoy great evenings around the campfire, in the hot tub or in the sauna. READ BEFORE BOOKING Please note that the last 30 minutes of the journey to our cabin are on dirt roads. We recommend using a taller vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable drive. During winter time we highly recommend using an SUV 4x4 vehicle. This scenic route adds to the sense of adventure and seclusion, making your arrival at the cabin even more rewarding.
