Places to stay in Llangennith, Llanmadoc and Cheriton
A fabulous holiday cottage based in the quiet village of Cheriton, nestled in the North Gower peninsula. The cottage has a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen, living room and further sleeping space in the upstairs mezzanine, which is accessed by a space saver ladder. The barn also boasts a private garden with patio area and a private Hot Tub.
A lovely self contained holiday cottage which has been newly refurbished. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout. A handmade oak ladder staircase offers access to a mezzanine bedroom above. Exposed oak timber throughout. The holiday cottage has a private garden area and boasts a private hot tub for guests.
The cottage is located at the top of the village which means that there is plenty of peace and quiet, especially at night. The barn is located at the roadside which offers easy access. There is very little road noise though as the road is very quiet at all times. Parking is available next to the barn with gated access onto the road.
  • Just as it appeared. All very clean and comfortable. Perfect as a base for exploring the Gower and coming back to a soak in the hot tub! Definitely recommend.

Enjoy the spectacular setting of our cosy bungalow on the beautiful Gower coast, within Britain's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The quaint village of Llanmadoc with its popular pub, churches, local shop and two cafes is a short walk away, as is the lovely long stretch of golden beach at Whiteford Sands and Broughton Bay.
The Manse porch enters into a small kitchen diner with a sofa, dining table and fitted kitchen. We have one double bedroom with its own en suite shower and toilet. The second bedroom has one bunk bed with an additional pull out mattress to sleep 3 (these are shorter than standard length measuring 5 ft 4 inches, so more suited to children or shorter adults). There is one full size single bed. The second bedroom also has its own shower and toilet. The cottage provides cosy living space for four people but also allows for an excellent opportunity to sleep up to seven people at a very competitive price.
The Brittania pub in the village serves really good quality food, and the community run village shop serves home made cakes and local produce. Cwm Ivy is a lovely area for exploring alongside St Madoc site and its own Cafe serves delicious home-cooked food and cakes, and sells an assortment of local crafts. Gower itself has many places ideal for visitors, from castles like Weobley a short drive from the cottage, Pennard and Oxwich, ancient churches, Iron-Age standing stones and Heritage Centres – like the one at Parkmill. Worm’s Head off Rhossili Beach can be seen from the St Madoc Centre, and is well worth a visit. For a more lively experience the picturesque and bustly village of Mumbles at the far end of Swansea Bay is great for small boutique shops, and a wide choice of eateries. There are many walks and hikes marked on Gower to ensure avid walkers enjoy a different view every day.
  • Great location. Perfect for walks along the beach and into the village. Great for our family of four children. Lots of space and the bungalow was cosy and clean.

  • What a lovely spot! We were two adults and two children, the house is compact but was perfectly suited to us. It was warm and cosy with everything we needed. There is a beautiful beach just a short wall away. The kids loved playing football on the grass outside and we were even given a chance to see the newly hatched chicks. We will definitely book again in the future.

    Helen2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a great stay - it was warm, comfortable, clean and spacious for our little family. Our toddler loved the St Madoc Centre and the beautiful beach is so close. Thanks for making us so welcome and providing everything that we needed.

  • Really wonderful stay highly recommend :-) :-)

    James2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely space, clean and well fitted out, it would be particularly good for a family with a few kids, two bathrooms is very handy! The beach is within easy walking distance although it is a bit of a climb down and back up from it, but that's been my experience of most beaches in the Gower. It is very rural with some very small roads leading up to it, which is exactly what I wanted, proper dark night sky and only able to hear the sea and the birds/animals no machines or roads, it was lovely! I would definitely go back for a longer stay.

    Sarah2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great for anyone who wants to be out in the country and have a bit of peace and quiet. It was great value for money for a group of 5 for one night. Keep in mind that this location is quite remote and you will likely need to be able to drive to get to the closest amenities.

    Dan2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Nice property surrounded by breathtaking views of the countryside. A nice quiet place to stay :)

    Sam2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious bungalow a few minutes walk from deserted beaches and cliff top walks on the doorstep. The comgortable bungalow had everything we needed and also use of outdoor facilities including table tennis, tennis court, giant chess, volleyball. We were lucky that we had all 76 acres on site to ourselves as no one else was staying. So peaceful. Robert the caretaker checked on us to make sure we were ok and bought us some of his chickens eggs. Wish we could have stayed longer

The Bake House forms part of Western House which is an Old Farm House, in the heart of Llangennith and 5 minutes from the local beach. The Lodge type, self contained unit has a sitting area and kitchen with a woodburning stove and electric wall radiators. There is an enclosed yard and along a small walkway is an exterior wet-room with a very warm shower and toilet. There is a double bed suspended in the roof in a mezzanine style. The large sette is also a double bed. Fully equipped basic kitchen
  • Lovely spot - very cosy and some absolutely stunning walks nearby

    Robert2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Bake House is a comfortable and cozy stay. There’s lots of great walking nearby, and only a 15 minute walk from Rhossili Bay. Pippa and Steve are helpful with any queries and have the accommodation set up with lots of little touches and amenities.

    Andrew2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at the bake house this December. Lovely space full of character with cosy log burner and fairy lights. Great location for exploring Gower with Rhossili bay only a short walk away. We were given a friendly welcome upon checkin. Would highly recommend!

    Jenny2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the Bake House was a real winter treat for us. It's located a short drive from the beach which meant easy access for surfing and had a brilliant little outside space to store surfboards and wetsuits. The cottage itself has all the amenities you need for a long weekend with ample cooking facilities and an amazing wood burner which kept the cottage nice and toasty. And it's walking distance to the local pub! Definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area and want somewhere quiet to relax and enjoy the coast.

Burry farm is in an ideal location to explore the whole Gower peninsula. It is only 10 minutes away from the coast and a choice of at least 5 beautiful beaches. We welcome families and couples and are dog friendly (sorry no cats) The cottage is within 4 miles of the following wedding venues King Arthur, Fairy Hill, Old Walls, Oxwich bay, Ocean View & Carreg Adventure. I am happy to arrange a suitable arrival time for wedding guests. Need an extra ensuite bedroom? try our new Whitewell barn.
Our farm cottage is full of character with stone walls and beams. It was built 10 years ago for use by my family all living in London. Burry is very much a farming area and we are adjoining fields with sheep and cattle. The accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms to sleep up to 6. One bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table, side table, lamp and chair. The second bedroom (our family room) has 1 double & 2 single beds and a cot. It has 2 bedside tables & lamps and wardrobe. It is perfect for young children who like their parents to sleep in the same room. There is a full sized cot, 2 stair gates, highchair and baby bath. There are 2 double beds which would suit 2 couples. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, oven, hob and microwave. The lounge is very spacious perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Games, toys and dvds are provided. Tv with free view and wifi. Outside there is a private patio with garden furniture. The propery is surrounded by our flower & vegetable garden and during the summer it resembles an allotment. Produce is for sale at the farm gate.
Burry is in perfect location to explore the whole Peninsula. Beautiful beaches on our doorstep. Port Eynon is the nearest, perfect for families. Visit Worms Head in Rhossili voted into the Top 10 views of the world. Eat out, and enjoy a drink at the King Arthur, highly recommended only 5 mins by car. Book surfing lessons in the Llangennith surfing school The Gower Heritage Center is perfect for young families or Perriswood Archery.
  • Lovely place with easy access to pubs/restaurants and beaches. We'll be back!

  • A very spacious place to stay with all the facilities we needed and in a beautiful location. Marian was very helpful throughout the process.

    Richard2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay and it’s a lovely sized cottage for a family. Our son enjoyed the box of toys and even asked to go to bed. Would recommend and even checked out summer dates - which are unfortunately full.

    Bill2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • I booked last minute for a weekend away with my husband, baby and my parents. The house was perfect for us with a lovely crib for our little one. The location was great and the cottage was very homely. Marion is a lovely host who was very welcoming and happy to help with anything we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

    Fran2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our two night stay in January. The place was very well equipped, with nice spacious rooms. We were staying with an enfant, and the place was ideal for that. We would be happy to stay here again in future.

    Richard2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! We had a, lovely stay for new years. The Christmas tree was up and made us feel very festive.

    Lauren2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • A great little cottage in the middle of the Gower peninsula. Marion was very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The King Arthur pub is a great local and you’re just a short drive to the breathtaking beauty of Rhosili beach. There was another cottage in the same site. A great find.

    Una2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our second stay at Marian’s, such a comfortable, warm house with everything you need for all the family - a real home from home. Great location and we visited all our favourite haunts, some in glorious sunshine, some in driving rain! Thanks Marian for making us all feel so welcome again, we hope to return soon.

Common Stone Barn is located in the picturesque Gower village of Llangennith. The village is located at the Western edge of the rugged Gower Peninsula. The area is famed for its stunning beaches and beautiful scenery. Common Stone Barn is ideally located in the centre of the village being situated within comfortable walking distance of the local pub and beach. There are two double bedrooms which are accessed by a contemporary oak staircase; one of the bedrooms has a cabrio window balcony and the other with large velux windows with views across Rhossili bay towards Tenby. There is also a bed settee. • Lovely cosy place for a bit of walking around the beautiful Gower Peninsular.

    Mark2020-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second trip to Llangennith and the barn did not disappoint. Really well set up for a surf trip. The log burner and stunning decor make it a lovely place to spend time when the weather isn't on your side. A short drive to lots of great surf spots and a smashing village pub with a great menu and local beer. Steve and Pippa were excellent hosts. Super communication and very welcoming. Thanks again. Hope to come back again soon.

    Sarah2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful stay in a beautiful house, couldn’t ask for a better location. Only thing to mention is the stairs to the bedrooms were quite steep and I was concerned for my mother who’s in her 70s. Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend!

    Fr Sebastian2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Stylish and well equipped with sea views from the bedrooms and close to a good pub. Remember to book if you want to eat in this popular venue. Also very pleasant outside space.

    Steph2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay! Kindly hosted by Steve & Pippa over the weekend. Only a 1 minute drive to the best beach in the U.K.! Can easily be walked, but we have young children so a concealed unit was necessary to keep them in one place for decanting onto the beach :) We could easily have stayed there for a week. I highly recommend a stay at Common Stone Barn. We’ll done guys, keep up the great work. xxx

    Stene2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely little cottage really close to the beach. Perfect for a getaway with the family, we would definitely come back!

    Joanna2019-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this cozy, funky spot. Well equipped for a family of three. Lovely wood-burning stove to come home to at the end of a chilly but fantastic day of exploring the gorgeous local beaches. Three minute drive to a great little stoney beach. Had a little problem with a beeping smoke detector, but Steve (pippa’s husband) sorted it out cheerfully just moments after we called. Now that we’ve found this gem, it’s on our list of places to return in the summer.

    Blythe2019-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time at the cottage. The beach very close by and despite the weather was still beautiful, and great for dog walks!

A cosy stone built barn set in the very heart of the Gower peninsula ......a perfect ten minute walk away from the Llangennith beach. Everything you need to make it a perfect getaway. If you wish to bring a dog there is a charge of £20 per week per dog (maximum of two dogs) by arrangement. There is no way of adding the fee on with airbnb as they don't have a section for it. Please notify us you are bringing a dog and leave the appropriate money in the barn on departure.
Cute, quirky warm barn, walking distance to the beach and a local pub
Sits in a beautiful part of the coastal countryside.
  • This place is lovely!Beautiful location, easy to get to and a perfect place to stay for a Gower getaway. The cosy barn is very cool and comfortable, with all amenities you would need for a nice stay. The whole place is spotless and the Log burner really made the evening atmosphere perfect. There's a great pub a short walk up the road and very easy access to amazing beaches, dunes and hiking trails. Jo was a great host, responding very quickly to our queries. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back and enjoy it again.

    James2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing barn, we have LOVED our stay here. Llangennith will always have such a special place in our heart, as we got engaged this week on the beach. Highly recommended this place to everyone.

    Beth2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning little barn conversion with everything you'll need for a great stay. The decor surpassed all our expectations and the Christmas touches really made our stay special. The only point i would note is that the attic space bedroom is really small. This was no problem for us but it is worth considering if you a tall or need a lot of bed room space. I would definitely recommend little hill end barn in llangennith.

    Richie2019-12-17T00:00:00Z

Brilliant location close to sone of the most stunning uk coastline I've seen (only 7.5 miles away at Rhossili) Marian was so helpful as well. There is a local shop close by, but worth visiting supermarkets in Llanelli on your way through. All in all a brilliant stay and will be visiting again to explore lots more of the Gower!

  • A warm, cosy & welcoming cottage in a beautiful location with everything we needed for an all too brief stay. Marion was quick to respond to any queries, & very helpful contacting relatives on our behalf as there was no phone signal. A rail by the 2 steps into the property then level & step free accomodation made it the perfect place to stay with my Mum who has mobility issues. We're already planning dates to return!

    Katie2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Jackys cottage is in an amazing location, just a few minutes drive from beautiful beaches. The cottage has everything you need and was extremely clean. The Welsh Cakes went down well! Thank you so much Jacky for your hospitality, we will be back!

    Jayne2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jacky's cottage is superb! We planned (unexpectedly) our long weekend during storm Dennis - Jacky very kindly kept us informed regarding the road closures and offered to defer our stay because of the storm. The cottage was clean, comfortable and cozy, and the log burner kept us and the dog warm throughout the evening. The location of the cottage is perfect as it is close to all the beaches and has nice walk routes right next! Thank you Jacky for our lovely stay!

    Philippa2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful cottage! We stayed for the weekend whilst attending a wedding in Fairyhill. Jacky was very accommodating and kept in touch every step of the way. Staying here made our weekend extra special. Very relaxing and comfortable. Will definitely be looking at coming again so we can see more of the area!

    Lisa2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cottage and were sad to leave. It’s super cosy and was very well set out and equipped for our toddler also. It’s in a lovely peaceful setting surrounded by sheep, countryside and within striking distance of everything in the flower as it was so central. Jacky met us on arrival and had bought us a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. We had fresh logs for the fire and were made to feel welcome straight away. The cottage is very comfortable and we loved the farm animals and the garden too. We will be back again for sure. Don’t hesitate to book especially if you have kids or just want to get away for a relaxing break.

    Claudia2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Jacky gave us an hospitable welcome and and was attentive throughout...always there to help and respectful of our privacy. Great spot from which to explore The Gower and some lovely walking right outside the door. We will be back!

  • Gorgeous, cosy cottage - perfectly situated for a wedding at Fairy Hill (we even walked home after). Jacky is a super communicative and responsive host. While we didn't get to meet, she took care of all our queries and was really accommodating - helping us with check in and getting supplies in. Couldn't recommend more, thanks again for the lovely stay!

Our cottage is a self contained annex. Hot water, electricity and underfloor heating are powered by our 16kw solar array and ground source heat pump. The property is super insulated making it warm in the winter and cool in the summer. A mezzanine bedroom looks down on the kitchen/living space. The second bedroom has a triple bunk bed offering flexibility for couples/families. Within easy reach of all beaches and villages, perfect for surfers, walkers, cyclists, families and local wedding guests.
Our two acre plot has a stream to relax by or play in! You can have a small fire/bbq here or you have use of your own private garden with a wood fired hot tub. The cottage is rustic, quirky and cosy with a well equipped kitchen, crisp white sheets, fluffy towels and a log burner to enjoy. A basket of wood will be provided with the option of buying more from us if you’d like to. Please note we have a space saving staircase which is not suitable for young children. There is a stair gate at the bottom and a ground floor bedroom.
A beautiful, rural spot on a small lane on the outskirts of the village of Reynoldston. Within five minutes you can walk to Cefn Bryn, common land where you’ll see ponies, cows and sheep roaming freely, climb the hill and you’ll discover spectacular views of the peninsula overlooking the estuary on one side and across to England on the other!
  • Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

  • Absolutely amazing place to stay. Louise was a fantastic host, she added special touches which were so thoughtful. Would definitely recommend and come again. Thank you so much 😊

    Sophie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful well looked after annex. Comfy bedding, quiet nights, modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Would suggesting following Google maps to the farm opposite to find it. The hot tub was great, went in every night in pitch dark and looked at a super starry sky. You do have to go out the front and round the side to get to the hot tub area so may be worth bringing an extra towel or robe and a pair of flip flops! I would recommend Louise's place to others, enjoy!

    Steph2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely stay in a beautiful spot. We were greeted with a welcome message on the little board in the kitchen and some home-made brownies which our kids devoured! We didn't get to try out the hot tub but the wood-burning stove in the living room was very much appreciated. Information and practical guidance second to none.

    Robin2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Louise was a lovely host, very welcoming and the cottage was perfect! So many little touches that made our weekend very special, from the homemade brownies to the fluffy towels. The cottage was everything we wanted for a relaxing weekend away. Despite the horrendous weather brought by storm ‘Dennis’ we still braved the hot tub which was a great addition to the already perfect cottage. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will definitely be returning :-)

    Milly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Louise's place is adorable and a perfect location near Fairyhill for my cousin's wedding. We loved all the amenities, and the place was as clean as a whistle. It was so comfy and cozy. The stairs are a bit dangerous if you have children, however that was a child safety gate, and no issues for us (no children). Louise and her partner were so lovely, and very helpful! They provided towels, fresh eggs, and homemade brownies amongst many things. We will certainly be coming back! Also the hot tub was a great addition.

A newly modernised annexe to a high standard with views over the Loughor Estuary. Located within easy reach of the beautiful village of Llanmadoc with its award winning pub 'The Brittannia Inn' and Gowers famous beaches. The property is also ideal for wedding guests as it is less than a mile away from 'Oldwalls Wedding Venue, 'Fairyhill' and 'Ocean View'.
  • A perfectly appointed place in a wonderful location with views on the Gower and Llanelli in the distance. Warm despite the weather, lovely landlords, super stylish place: we had a great time, thank you for everything!

  • Would certainly stay again, great hosts who even picked up some groceries for us when we were stuck! Spotlessly clean, had everything you need for a great break away.

    Phil2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a super property for a couple. Spotlessly clean and thoughtfully decorated, Martyn & Vicki have created a home from home within this annexe. We can only endorse previous comments - lovely views across the estuary from the lounge window , spotless appliances, great shower - and thank you for the Welsh cakes, biscuits & prosecco. The tastefully decorated Christmas tree was a lovely touch! The property itself is a mile from an award winning pub, the Britannia, and a couple of miles further on you gain access to some of the best beaches in the UK. Highly recommended. Reggie, the sprocker, absolutely loved it!!

    Tim2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend this lovely annex to anyone looking to enjoy the Gower Peninsula and beautiful coastal walks and beaches. The location was perfect for exploring all the lovely delights. Communication from Martyn and Vicky was very responsive and helpful, which we really appreciated. We arrived to a lovely warm annex with the lovely touch of a Christmas Tree, chilled processco, welsh cakes and mince pies, along with tea, coffee and milk. The annex was extremely clean with lovely touches and decor giving it a lovely homely feeling. The shower was great, nice and powerful, spacious with toiletries available. For us it was also a bonus that we could take our 10 month dog with us too, to enjoy a lovely few days away.

  • Great place, well finished and kitted out. Thanks for the prosecco, milk and Welsh cakes. Great location for exploring the Gower. Highly recommended

  • Martyn and Vicky were extremely helpful with recommendations of places to eat. The accommodation was spotless and very comfy and cosy! It is perfectly located to explore the Gower via the coastal path just down the road or a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country.

  • My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away. The property was outstandingly clean and stylish, and the host was extremely helpful suggesting local places to eat and walk. Martin was kind enough to leave us a bottle of Prosecco, welsh cakes, tea and coffee facilities, and some chocolate all free of charge. The property was in close proximity to nice coastal walks and a local pub with some top food.

Situated in the heart of Llangennith, we offer a drop off and pick up service to the Luxurious Fairy Hill , Old walls and King Arthur wedding venues. Our beautiful, loved home nestled in the village of Llangennith, Gower, offers picturesque views of Rhossili Downs and Llangennith beach. By day the birds sing and fly over the sea and countryside and by night, the moon illuminates the waves and the quiet nature which surrounds us makes for a relaxing, soothing treatment for the soul.
For those of you looking to explore the area, we are 5 minutes’ drive (30 mins walk) from the exquisite Rhossili Bay, charming Broughton Bay and the enticing Blue Pool. For spectacular and stimulating cliff walks, we are also close to Burry Holms. Our home offers you the chance to get away from the city and relax in nature; the perfect remedy to calm the mind and truly unwind.
We are surrounded by nature, hills and the sea which make us an ideal place to stay for walkers and surfers. Many of the walking paths surrounding us are of a low gradient but there are more headier ones for the more experienced walkers. Just down the road is the 17th century Kings Head Inn which offers traditional ales and pub food. The air here is fresh and clean, due to the abundance of nature and the fact we are nestled in the Gower Peninsula – the first place in the UK to be designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956.
  • David and Flor are lovely people and most helpful hosts. We stayed with them to go surfing and they helped us with drying our wetsuits ready for the next day. Their house must have some of the best views in Llangennith. We were very well fed with a fabulous breakfast each morning. It is so peaceful and relaxing here and the bed is comfortable. We would like to come back soon, thanks

    Emma2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Waking up to the ocean views and eating David’s famous Welsh breakfasts was an extra treat to an already great stay! We booked for our anniversary and the special touches made it all the more special.

  • For me the people are what make a place special and with David and Flor as hosts, our stay was unforgettable! David and his wife Flor were charming, kind and generous. They went above and beyond to make a our stay the best experience possible. We had a fantastic wedding at Fairyhill. David provided a safe and punctual taxi service which was greatly appreciated (especially as we were running late!) David and Flor were so kind and charming throughout. They made us feel very comfortable and we were honestly sad to say goodbye. They also went above and beyond when we had difficulty with the flooded roads and for this we are eternally grateful!!! We both had a great night's sleep and the breakfast was superb. I could not recommend this place more strongly! 6 stars!!!!

    Samuel2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, fantastic host, lots of little touches and great information about the local area and things to do from David. Amazing view of the sunrise/sunset from the room, very comfortable and warm bed, and oh my, the breakfast... to die for... left very satisfied each morning, our compliments to the Chef (aka David). We were made to feel very welcomed, as if it were our home. Would definitely recommend!

    Sam2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, great breakfast and lovely to have little extras like shampoo and toothpaste as we had forgotten ours. Local pub food great.

  • Thanks so much David for a wonderful stay! Your place was lovely and clean, views were stunning, lovely touches with water, tea and biscuits in the bedroom, comfy bed and pillows, silent, incredible breakfast with local products, we followed your suggestion of walking up the hill behind your house to find breathtaking views... I would absolutely recommend this place and you well deserve your super host status. Thanks again for everything 😊

The Lodge looks out directly west over the Celtic sea and beyond. There is nothing between the Lodge and the sands of Rhossili Bay other than National Trust sand dunes. It is a truly stunning location with unbelievable views and amazing walks. It is warm and comfortable, with all mod cons. There is parking for two cars right by the front door. There are no 'phone lines, so no internet access - and mobile signals are patchy. Llangennith, with good gastro pub and surf shop, is just 1 mile inland.
This is a three-bedroomed luxury lodge/cabin with unbelievable views looking west across Rhosilli Bay and the Celtic Sea. It is located on a static caravan and lodge park, but has an isolated position. The Park is surrounded by National Trust land. It takes approx. five minutes to walk from the front door to the beach.
It is the Gower Peninsula - say no more!! Have a look on the web if you need convincing.
  • A breathtaking view, quiet surroundings, a most beautiful house equipped with everything we could wish for- it was in many ways a more than perfect week!!

Thanks Paul and Ann for your welcome.

  • We've spent an amazing weekend at Pippa's, the place is amazingly colourful and warming and we felt immediately at home. Pippa and his husband are extremely kind and helpful, we were in late and managed to do a very late checkin without problem. They are open for a chat, friendly and they gave us tips to explore the area and Wales in general. The location is super nice, in the middle of the Welsh nature but close to any amenities and super close to the beach of Llangennith. Moreover if you'r driving from south west uk, consider this as the perfect intermediate stop to explore the Gower Peninsula before going in Pembrokshire, this is what we did and it was the right choice. Highly recommended :) Diolch!

  • We stayed at the quirky top floor room with private bathroom opposite the corridor. There were 3 of us and our daughter had her own single bed, which was a great advantage. We really loved the color combination and personal touches to the decor. The hosts were amazing cooking breakfast to our (sometimes) very specific order and giving us tips what to see around Gower peninsula. The house is very dog friendly so we felt really comfortable bringing our labrador. The only thing you have to be mindful of is that the headroom on the top floor is limited so I found myself (6'2) constantly hunched over after i hit my head a few times. We also got an oil heater as it was chilly during the night. However, this did not detract us from having am amazing time and we will def. be back!

  • We loved staying in this colourful, quirky B&B! Rhian looked after us really well, even booking us a table at the local pub. The place was super dog friendly and it was good to be able to sit and relax in their very pretty, enclosed garden. Our family room was fab...loved the view of the sea, the colourful decor and it was great to have a proper single bed for our son. Just needed to be a bit careful, as the headroom was limited in our room, but we soon adjusted to it and it certainly won't stop us from coming back again nor would it stop us from strongly recommending a stay at Western House. Many thanks!

  • We stayed in the Bakehouse, so had our own garden (perfect for staying with our puppy!) as well as kitchenette and living area. My 12 year old loved the platform bed! The walk to the beach was lovely, the local pub serves great food and beer and is friendly and your day starts wonderfully with a great cooked breakfast, including eggs from their hens. What's not to like?

  • Our host was charming, very welcoming, the breakfasts were delicious, hearty, plus the opportunity to have breakfast vegan equally delicious. Indications for wonderful walks from accommodation were very specific and interesting. We could have stayed longer! The rooms are quaint and the decor is very creative. The area is beautiful to walk around and breathe the fresh air while discovering the beautiful landscapes.

  • Everything was great, very welcoming, beautiful house, clean and tidy rims and the kids went crazy for the Colourful furnishings. Very happy with everything and would totally recommend :)

LITTLE HILL END Little Hill End is a charming, traditional Gower cottage situated 1/4 of a mile from Llangennith beach, nestling under the backdrop of Rhossili hill making a superb base for surfing, walking, fishing and riding. The cottage, has many features that you would expect in a typical cottage, such as exposed beams, polished wooden floors and a working fireplace, sleeps up to five people and has two bedrooms, a kitchen/diner, lounge and bathroom.
The cottage is set in its own grounds and overlooks views across the dunes towards the beach
Five minute walk to the Llangennith beach entrance and under the back drop of Rhossili downs
  • We really enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic being only minutes from the beach as well as close to a number of great Gower highlights. It’s a warm and very comfortable house with everything you need for a short - or even longer stay. We aren’t surfers but if you are, you could walk to the beach with your board!

  • Stayed for a long weekend and we loved it! Beautiful, cosy cottage with a great, secure garden (perfect for Dixie the dog) and just 5 mins from a beautiful (dog friendly) beach. We had a problem with one of the radiators but Jo got it sorted within an hour. All in all a great find and hope to return next year!

    Jenny2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, lovely garden and outdoor area, and easy to find. I'd give Rhossili beach a miss though and head for Broughton Bay. An hours walk or 10 mins drive and you're on a pristine sheltered beach with no rocks, litter, or drunken campsite revelers.

    Mark2019-07-09T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage. Great size and the best location for what we needed and wanted. Beds were really comfy and the facilities were perfect. Jo was very prompt with communication and information when requested and we just loved our little stay. If you love Llangennith like I do for the surf, the walks, beach life, a few drinks and a bite to eat at the King's Head, this cottage is perfect 👌

    Emma2019-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a gorgeous cottage in a fantastic location. The beach is so close you can hear the sea at night if you leave the window open a crack in the bedroom. It’s really toasty as well for a winter break, the log burner throws out a lovely heat! Comfy sofas in the living room, cosy, well-equipped kitchen, boot room/porch to leave your sandy boots in, off road secure parking, what’s not to like?! Thoroughly recommended.

Green Bank Cottage is an ideal idyllic location to explore the whole Gower Penninsula. 10 minutes away from the beautiful Gower beaches. We welcome families and couples and friends. The cottage is within 4 miles of local Wedding venues The King Arthur, Fairy Hill, Old Walls, Oxwich Bay Hotel, Ocean View and Carreg Adventure. • Margaret was a fantastic host and was very helpful as she happily offered to give us a lift to the wedding venue on arrival. The place was sparkling clean and with a private entrance it was a lovely room that felt very spacious. Very comfy beds too! Would highly recommend 😃👍

  • If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat this is the perfect accommodation for you. Margaret is welcoming from the moment of arrival and mindful of ensuring that every possible need is met. The fridge was restocked every day and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Margaret provided useful local information to make sure we got the most from our short break. Profuse thanks from two very satisfied customers.

    Tonia2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Margaret is a very considerate host, who cooked us a lovely hot breakfast for just £10 extra for the two, which was much appreciated. (Continental style breakfast is included in the price.)The location is lovely, in the county, with a pleasant garden outside. The room is self-contained and private, perfect with the two twin beds for myself and son. There is a patio area outside for breakfast, though as it was wet we used the little table inside, which was fine. There's a kettle and fridge, and Margaret had left various things in the fridge for us, some to cater for my fussy diet, which was more than expected. I would thoroughly recommend staying here!

    Ian2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Exceptionally clean which was much appreciated and the shower pressure was very good which isn't always the case in the countryside.

  • Amazing first stay at Airbnb in UK with my brother and his wife who are visiting me from China. Margaret is so friendly, helpful and the place is sparking clean with ample breakfast and other facilities. Thanks a lot for the local tips too!

Hillend caravan park is situated on the western tip of the Gower Peninsula, Britains first designated area of outstanding beauty. Only 200 m from the caravan is the most amazing stretch of coastline, a 3 mile sweep of golden sands with Worms Head to the south and Burry Holmes to the north. The facilities on site include a cafe/ restaurant, laundry room, children's park and a well stocked site shop. Dogs are welcome but site rules are that they are kept on leads tall times.
You can reach any part of the Gower Peninsula within 30 minutes. Llangennith beach is a renowned surfing beach and is also great for fishing. There are many fantastic walks with beautiful scenery along the way.
  • Another lovely week at Hillend in Clare’s caravan. We always find the place is welcoming and spotless. There is everything you need in the kitchen plus supplies of basics - salt, pepper, oil, matches, cleaning stuff and assorted bags plus Clare very helpful and is only a message away to sort any problems. The views are outstanding as are the walks in every direction right from the doorstep and then there’s the 3 miles of beach. A beach comber and a mad spaniel’s heaven. This years collection of beach treasures are a sea bean, all the way from the Caribbean, fossils in a limestone cobble, shells, a garfish courtesy of hurricane Dorian’s wild seas and a sea urchin. We’ve heard that there are dolphins in the bay although we didn’t see them this time. On the walk out to the worms head there were basking seals and rock pools full of interesting creatures. The car park at Rhossili is now national trust so don’t forget your membership cards for free parking. The walk to the outer head was amazing, strenuous, with some fairly tough rock hopping and scrambling to get to the outer head but well worth the effort for the fantastic views. We’ll be back!

    Sue2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Many thanks to Clare for letting use her caravan. Picture don't do it justice, it's spacious and functional inside, has a nice bit of outdoor space as well and you really can't beat that location. Hoping to be coming back next year!

    Grzegorz2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • What a location! Beautiful view and right next to one of the most beautiful and clean beaches I’ve ever seen. A lovely week away with my partner and kids (2 and 5). The caravan was spotless and well located with a good view. The kitchen was well stocked and there was a bbq and a private table with a gorgeous sunset view. There was plenty of things for kids including dvds and games. The caravan site has a small but useful shop, a cafe nearby and a great play park. The walk to Rhossili town along the beach was wonderful and we walked back along the cliffs behind the caravan park. I had some great runs. At one point I was the only person on the 4 mile (!) beach! Really enjoyable stay and we will certainly be returning.

  • Wow! What a unique and memorable B&B ! Pippa and her husband were very welcoming and easy to chat with. They made us feel at home on Gower Peninsula. The house was cozy and every detail was unique and fun! The house was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the traditional and homemade breakfast. The location was great and easy to find. We will never forget our stay in the beautiful country side. And the view from room 1 was spectacular!

  • The Guesthouse of Pippa and Steve is a unique place. The rooms are very tasteful and colorful. And also the garden is very nice and inviting. The guesthouse has a great location and is surrounded by great scenery. You can make wonderful walks and hikes to Rhossili Beach and Worms Head. The best are the hosts themselves. Incredibly warm, helpful and uncomplicated. I immediately felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the guesthouse !!! Thanks for everything, Pippa and Steve

This light and airy barn conversion is situated in the quieter side of the Gower Peninsula, and is within walking distance of beaches, local cafe, community shop and pub serving great food. As the UK's first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Peninsula is home to around 50 unspoilt beaches, coves and bays, and is renowned for its heathland, limestone grassland, fresh- and salt-water marshes, dunes and oak woodlands
Upper Church barn was converted in 2009. Its light and airy space houses a downstairs bathroom, double bedroom and an open plan kitchen/diner and living room area. A spiral staircase (complete with stair gates top and bottom) leads to an upstairs double bedroom with an additional single bed and two single beds housed on the balcony overlooking the living area.
The village itself is quaint and welcoming, and just a short walk east of the barn is the ‘Shop’ - a post office, grocery store and café that is run by the residents of Llanmadoc and is a focal part of the community. Also within walking distance of the barn is the local pub - The Britannia which serves award winning food.
  • We had a great time staying at the Upper Barn. It was really cosy with the fire going and there was lots of relaxed sitting about reading books. We cooked lots of lovely meals in the well equipped kitchen. The area is beautiful with great walks from the doorstep.

  • We had a fantastic stay. The photos and description of the cottage are very accurate so you know just what to expect. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and practical. We especially loved the view of sea from every room and the perfect layout of kitchen/living room which meant we could cook and relax at the house in the long winter nights. It's a short walk to a nice local pub, and of course the beach (although we drove as our stay was mid-winter). Communication with Duncan was quick and easy.

  • Another fantastic week in the Gower. This is the perfect location for us to explore the area. The house is clean, comfortable, well equipped and very quiet. For once the Gower weather was kind, although we did get caught in a couple of Gower showers! A few highlights: walking over Rhossilli Down and back along the beach, Mewslade Bay, and the salt marshes, national trust reserve and tea room at Llanmadoc (Cwm Ivy). Definitely did not want to come home. Thank you.

    Lee2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Duncan’s place is in an excellent location in one of our favourite places on the Gower Peninsula. The cottage is light and airy; clean, tidy, well equipped and well appointed. It’s the perfect holiday let. There are no essentials in the kitchen in the way of tea/ coffee, so do bring your own if that’s your inclination. We arrived on a stormy weekend; we enjoyed being warm and dry and having space to store wet coats and boots was a bonus (& wetsuits!). That area could only be improved with running water for rinsing muddy / sandy / seawater from these items. Beds were comfy - plenty of hot water for four adults & lots of entertainment (board games, books, Xbox, DVD & Blu-Rays etc). Wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks for fabulous stay!

    Vicky2018-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay. The cottage has everything you need to enjoy the peace and quiet of such a beautiful part of the world. It’s clean and well equipped with great open plan living space. Some amazing views from all the windows. There’s a large screen TV with Xbox and Blu-ray player if you’d like to veg out on a rainy day. There’s loads of garden space, and a patio with views of Worm’s head. The beach is magnificent and you can tell the locals cherish it as it’s spotless. The local pub, the Kings Head has a nice beer garden out the front, which is a bit of a sun trap. The food they serve is classic pub food done well, without trying too hard. We’re definitely hoping to come back again in the future.

  • This house has stunning views out over the coastline and is very well equipped, from places to storing/dry wet kit and surfboards to a kitchen that you can cook a roast dinner in! The local pub provides great food if you want to eat out and has a massive selection of gin! We will definitely be coming back for our next surf trip.

  • Our 3rd visit to this house in 3 years and it never let's us down. Perfect size for a family of 4. Spacious, cosy and wonderfully equipped. A charming house in a charming village. The walk over the downs and back along Rhossilli beach wad just perfect. The Kings Head pub is well worth a visit. And a real bonus was beautiful weather...in February. Thank you.

Located in a small village at the end of the Gower Peninsula, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with wild horses, stunning beaches, many walking/hiking opportunities, plus King Arthur's stone and a castle nearby. This is my family home and where I grew up, when not living in Asia. The furnishings reflect those many years abroad and make this house (with woodburner) quite unique. That is in addition to having one of the best views in the village, looking out onto the Worm’s Head.
Unlike a number of other properties, please note we have three bedrooms, with space for six guests, all on proper beds. (Although set up for six, a seventh person can be exceptionally accomodated on a futon/ sofabed in the Study). Also note that the farmhouse is located actually on the Gower at the end of the penninsula with stunning beaches and many public footpaths in the immediate vicinity (including right next to our front gate). There is a 10% discount for stays of a week or more. On the ground floor, the house itself has a large Living room with a renovated inglenook fireplace with a wood burner , a Study/Library and a Kitchen/Dining area with a view of the back garden and the Worm’s Head. There is also a bathroom that was installed this century (until the mid 1960s there was no indoor plumbing) with a spacious shower. On the upper floors there is a large Master bedroom with a super king size bed and two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and the other with a trundle bed that can be set up as 1-2 singles or, upon request, as a double). There is also a second, albeit older, bathroom (with cast iron Roll Top bath) on the same landing as the two small bedrooms. There is half flight of stairs from the Master bedroom to the upstairs bathroom. 1739 Farmhouse provides an ideal location from which to explore the Gower (see our list of suggested excursions under Location/Neighbourhood section), the first protected Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty established in the UK, or to simply enjoy the house and garden.
Suggested Excursions *Llangennith village centre (5 minutes walk): Go to the Kings Head pub for a drink or a meal. You can visit the local church, next to PJ’s surf shop or walk down the hill to the brook at Coity Green (remnants are visible of the original village wiped out by an epidemic). *Small shops (summer months) can be found at Hillend and Broughton Caravan Parks (latter stocks variety of local products), as well as back at the petrol station in Llanrhidian (4 miles). *There is a dynamic local Village Hall that has a range of activities and a monthly local produce market. www.llangennith-hall.co.uk/ You can book surfing lessons with the Wales Surfing Federation, who have a presence down at Hillend Caravan Site Public Right of Way map: https://www.swansea.gov.uk/rightsofwaymap Rhossili (Hillend) beach (15 min walking on the road, 30mins by public right of way starting next to our front gate, 5 min by car): If driving, go back down Cockstreet to the mini-roundabout and continue straight until you get to Hillend caravan site. There is a small parking fee. From the beach, you can walk east towards Rhossili, or west towards Bury Holmes where there are a few remnants of a medieval abbey. Once again, beware of the tides. Rhossili beach is popular with surfers (the local surfshop opposite the pub is run by PJ, an ex-welsh surfing champion) and was voted one of the most beautiful beaches in Britain some years ago. For a pleasant meal, try the caravan site restaurant “Eddy’s” (open April to October). Broughton Beach (25 min walk): Continue to the end of Cockstreet and down the muddy track following the public right of way which continues straight down to the beach. Do not follow the track when it curves to the right. Once at Broughton beach, to the left you can follow the clifftop walk (not for those with vertigo) to Blue Pool Bay. If walking along the beach, beware of the tides which come in very quickly on the estuary and can trap you against the cliffs. Walking to the right on Broughton beach in the direction of Llanmadoc, there is an outcrop of rocks where dinosaur remains have been found. You can also drive as far as Broughton Beach car park (5 mins, go back down to mini roundabout and turn right). Walk up Llanmadoc hill (45 min): Go back to the top of Cockstreet and follow the trail up the hill on your left. From the top there are stunning views of Rhossili beach, the Worms Head, Broughton, Llanmadoc, and Llanelli and Carmarthen on the other side of the estuary. Rhossili Down (45 min): From the top of Hillend caravan site, follow the steep path up the hill to the cairn at the top which you can see from Cockstreet. You can continue walking along towards Rhossili (60 minutes) past the remains of WW2 anti-aircraft batteries, as all of these beaches were had to be mined during the war. Rhossili Down is also a favourite spot for hangliders and paragliders. Rhossili and the Worm’s head (20 min by car): Visit the small local church and learn about a member of their congregation, Edgar Evans, who took part in Scott’s Antarctic voyage. Visit the café or pub for sweeping views of Rhossili bay (the remains of the ship Helvatia can be seen at low tide). Visit the nice National Trust store and walk out to the coast guard hut at the beginning of the Worm’s Head. For the more adventurous, you can walk out onto the Worm’s Head, paying close attention to the posted tide times (the crossing can only be made during low tide). Arthur’s Stone (20 min by car): Drive to Reynoldston passing through Fairy Hill for a scenic route. Once in Reynoldston, follow the road up the hill to the top of the Bryn. From the top there are views of Oxwich Bay (which is also worth a visit and has a Norman church). On the opposite side, a short walk takes you to the legendary King Arthur’s stone. Port Eynon: In the direction of Rhossili follow the road until you get to the small village of Port Eynon where there is a good fish and chips store. Weobley Castle (20 min by car): driving via Llanmadoc (which also has a friendly village shop and cafe in the Post Office), visit this well situated fortified manor house, which nowadays contains a display relating to the history of the Gower. From here you can clearly see the salt marshes, from which Gower salt-marsh lamb gets its special taste. You can purchase this meat from the castle farm store or from the two butchers in Penclawd. Note the distance of this castle from the sea as with other Welsh castles. These used to be much closer but has shifted over time as Britain tilts from West to East.
  • The cottage is gorgeous, it has oodles of character and is really comfortable. It is near a great beach and close to the other beautiful beaches in the Gower. Adam is a fantastic host - welcoming, flexible and really helpful. Highly recommended.

  • A perfect weekend getaway to a really beautiful and remote spot. The cottage is simple with a definite "retro" feel which is part of its charm and gives a sense of escapism from modern life. The cottage was spotless and felt like a family home. The location is fantastic.

  • A great cosy (yet spacious) home with lots of thoughtful touches and a perfect jumping off point for some some stunning walks around the Gower peninsula. Plenty of space, very clean and a lovely garden too.

  • Simply cannot recommend this beautiful and stylish cottage enough. I was privileged to be one of the first to stay here, what an honour. Joe is a very special person and this is reflected throughout this impressive property and extends into the unique and charming garden. The rooms are all surprisingly spacious, even the bathroom is much bigger than the pictures suggest. The kitchen is a cook’s delight with a range to die for. Open plan, the kitchen flows into the dinning space and then living area, enhanced by stunning attention to detail in both decor and furnishings, as well as light that floods in through the large French doors. The snug is a soft, comfortable addition to the living space and once again, is larger than expected. The real bonus is the utility room with a washer/dryer and a host of helpful bits and bobs. The master bedroom, again much larger than pics allow for, is deliciously peaceful. With a quirky and well-proportioned second bedroom, plus the snuggly sofa bed, there is plenty of sleeping space for all. The garden has to be my favourite space though. Wonderful views across the sand dunes of Rhossili and extending out across the ocean as far as the eye can see. Best appreciated from one of the numerous comfy seats, with a glass of wine, watching the sun set. Bliss. Joe, thank you so much for such a special stay, your attention for detail left me wanting for nothing and I felt like I had been away for much longer than 4 nights. A REAL holiday home. Can’t wait to return.

  • The house was perfect, lots of space, beautiful garden and a short walk to the beach - even nicer than it looks in the photos! Thanks for a lovely holiday!

A beautiful and relaxing holiday. Plenty of room for a family to relax and enjoy. raised balcony on front of tent with panoramic views. We do not allow dogs in this tent
We are lucky to be in an aonb. There are beaches all around Gower, lots of lovely coffee shops, and of course very good restaurants. local pub in walking distance.
  • This is such a great place to stay for the weekend. The tent is huge with everything you need for a comfortable few days. I highly recommend paying extra for the hot tub as it is the perfect way to spend an evening under the stars.

    Jason2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The safari tents are GREAT. We were worried we might be cold so had packed loads of blankets and jumpers but with the heating panels and wood burner we were toasty, even though the weather was terrible when we were there. The tent flaps and creaks a bit in very high winds so maybe not one for the middle of winter if you are very sensitive to noise, but we were fine - it’s atmospheric! Otherwise the tent was cosy, comfortable and clean, and the hot tub was great. Ellen was so welcoming and provided us with the few extra things we needed (salt and pepper and oil); otherwise the tent was really well equipped, even with hot water bottles. Such a good value place to stay if you don’t fancy actual camping, and walking distance to the pub.

    Katie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • A brilliant stay! The tents are large and have all the essentials you need. A very peaceful location and good place to explore the Gower.

  • Safari tent set in a beautiful, peaceful location; the log-powered hot tub was amazing, comfy beds, Ellen was lovely and so welcoming - plus loads of space for 4 adults and a one-year old. Didn't want to leave!

  • Luxury accommodation, would recommend the hot tub.

    Jonathan2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ellen's tents are the perfect retreat and so much more then what we thought they would be, honestly couldn't fault it! Not only are the tents more spacious than we expected, you get to wake up to the most beautiful sunrise across the countryside. In the other direction you can find Rhossili bay which again is spectacular to look at and visit! You can have as much tent ventilation as you need so they don't get hot when the sun is blaring, equally there are heaters in every room in case it gets chilly in the evening. Ellen and Ross were always available for any questions or help we needed. We are already looking to stay again next year! Thanks you for making our stay so perfect!

    Elise2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • A great place to explore the Gower. The tent was fantastic and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day.

  • Me and my pals stayed in one of Ellen’s magical Safari tents and have to say it was nothing short of a cracking couple of days! The tent itself is a whopping size and handy wheelbarrows are provided from the car park to carry your bags to your humble abode. Inside are 2 bedrooms of an awesome size with plenty of storage space and the cutest secret double bed that is worth fighting over. If you can pull yourself away from the roaring cosy log burner, wrap yourself up in the super soft blankets provided and make yourself a meal in the kitchen, kitted out with all the utensils you need! The tent comes complete with plumbing, including a hot shower, running taps and a cosy loo! Now for the creme de la creme of the glamping experience... El hot tubio! That’s right, in 0 degree temperatures what more could you want than to strip off and soak yourself in your wood fired hot tub with an incredible view. Watching our horizon light up with fireworks as far as we could see, whilst sipping on a little bit of the bubbly with my buds in a hot tub was the most perfect way to spend NY eve, and has set the bar high for good times for 2020. Thank you Ellen for providing this experience, it’s one we will never forget.

    Sophie2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay - Ellen went out of her way to look after us including heating up the hot tub when we were out-we had one or two teething problems with electrics but these were quickly sorted out. It was a hugely enjoyable stay and a great access point to the nearby beaches

    James2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Safari tents are really cosy and clean and in a great location. The hot tub was great and the kids loved it. Lots of beaches nearby. The safari tent had comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen with everything we needed for our stay. Advice to anyone going - take lots of food as no shops nearby and extra towels for the beach, etc, because if it rains it’s hard to dry them all out. Would definitely recommend - feels like you’re really in the countryside and away from home. Ellen and her husband were really helpful and friendly too.
