Awesome stay

It was like coming home! I am originally from Port. My husband and I spent a month staying in Sarah's beautiful home. Sarah was the perfect host. She helped us and kept us informed when needed or when we asked but also let us "live our lives" there without interference. Thank you, Sarah!

Terri’s place is spectacular. She has truly thought of everything! From the outdoor space to the indoor space, you feel like you’re in a magazine! It was so cozy and well decorated. Terri provides everything you would want and more. If you want to get out of the city for a few days, this is the place to go! I had the most amazing time during my visit and will most definitely be planning the next one soon!

Terri's place was perfect for our weekend getaway. The home was beautifully designed and so well thought out. She provided everything you could ever need for a fun-filled, relaxing weekend. We were a little worried about no running water, but it could not have been easier to cook, wash dishes, etc. We are already planning our next trip up during the summer.

Best NYE ever!! We had so much fun on our peaceful getaway with our dog. Terri thought of everything and supplied the home with several amenities I wouldn’t have even expected. Great host and great location

My second time staying at this place. Great location, easy check in, and great hospitality.

Home Port is a charming, cozy apartment close to downtown Port and Lake Michigan. It has old world charm and all the modern touches. Comfortable bed, complete kitchen, excellent shower, nice couch and table. Private, quiet. Only three steps and the parking is so close, so easy to get in and out of. If you come in the winter and it's windy, there will be a wee bit of a draft, but the host supplied lots of blankets and throws so you can cuddle up and stay warm. My husband and I both loved it and will stay there every time we come to see family.

Litha clearly cares about her guests having a good experience and a welcoming place to stay. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made us feel at home---fresh fruit, creamer, coffee/tea, toiletries, and charming decor, to name a few. There were plenty of towels, fresh linens, and cozy throws to snuggle up with during the snowy days. She was always quick to respond and was very gracious in arranging spots for us to park. She provided helpful information on the local area and check-in/out was a breeze. I would love to return in the summer to enjoy more of the lakefront and main street areas. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Litha for sharing a cherished home that has been in her family for years.

Litha's place was a wonderful way to experience Port Washington. From the comfortable amenities to the access to downtown Port, this is a must if you are in the area.

Litha's place is very clean and spacious and very well equipped too. it was really like a home to us for those 4 nights we stayed there. It's location is also very convenient and easy to find as it was only 10 minutes walk to the little down by Lake Michigan.

Litha's place was extremely nice, full of great touches. She was responsive and communicative with any needs or questions we had. It is a great 8 minute walk to town, where there was plenty of places to eat and a beautiful park by Lake Michigan. We greatly enjoyed our visit.

This is a gorgeous home, what else can I say? The host is top notch and very accommodating. The way the home is decorated was fantastic, so much character in each and every room. Stay here if you are looking for a place that feels like home, but better!

Cindy's home was perfect, the location being 10min from Port Washington to 15min to Cedarburg. Clean home, from the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, bathroom, everything we needed for our girls trip. She left us with goodies in the bathroom if any items were forgotten, this was an awesome touch. I had shared this was a girls trip for a 50th birthday; she had beautiful flowers on the table; tasty bread for us on the counter for breakfast. I would definitely recommend this beautiful home if staying in the area.

Cindy is a great host. Place is very clean with fresh flowers and cinnamon bread waiting for you. There's a basket of different toiletries In the bathroom incase you forgot something. We sat out on the patio to have coffee in the morning and were quite entertained by the chipmunks scurrying around. The house is very charming and nicely furnished. Would definitely stay again.

This is a gorgeous craftsman style home with really neat details. I didnt even realize that there was a finished basement until our second day, however it's a really rad hangout space with a bar and a nice TV with surround sound. Cindy left nice touches all around her home. Fresh flowers in the kitchen (which is my favorite area in the house), spare toiletries is the bathroom in case you forgot something (which of course we did 😂), and a bottle of wine to unwind. The location was perfect for us and only a couple minutes to the local grocery store. A quiet neighborhood within walking distance to the park. If you aren't sure if you should stay here... you should. A hotel cannot compare.

This is such a great deal! Not only price wise but also the house was conveniently located for us. We went to the beaches in Port Washington and also to 2 state parks with beaches. Cindy is a great host and had so many warm touches for us. We appreciated the menus she left for us although we chose to do our own cooking. The beds were comfy and we also used the sectional and ottomans in the basement as a bed along with an air mattress. The view in the backyard is amazing! My parents, my husband and my children all agreed we will definitely be back to Cindy's home in the future!

Stephanie and Dave were the greatest! Our girl's weekend could not have been better. It was a perfect spot and perfect space. We had SUCH a great time and such a needed respite with the kindest hosts ever!

The huge plus was being so close to downtown. The views from the living room were amazing for sunrise and sunset. The kitchen was very updated. The house was nice and clean. Worth checking out for sure of you are in the area.

This was the perfect place to stay for our first trip to Port Washington. We were looking for someplace close to the water and all the town amenities - not to mention toddler friendly and comfortable for two adults who need to be in for the night by said toddlers bedtime - and that was exactly what we got and more! Amy was such a thoughtful host who clearly takes great pride in sharing her home with others. The apartment itself was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was modern and well stocked with staples. We're looking forward to returning again soon!

Beautiful old house with plenty of space and amenities. It was really nice to have coffee in the morning by the window with a view of the lake. Amy’s communication was clear and quick and check in and check out were a breeze. The house is located just a block from the lake lake, shops, cafes, etc.

If you are looking to stay in the Port Washington area, I cannot recommend Missy and Bret's apartment more. The location is great, less than a mile from the shorefront and iconic Port Washington breakwater lighthouse. The apartment is amazingly furnished, comfortable, and Missy/Bret left the apartment well stocked for arriving guests. I would happily stay here again for future Wisconsin visits.

Such a wonderful retreat! The amazing landscaping and views out the window makes a perfect home away from home. The place was amazingly clean! Everything I was looking for!

I was going to be out all day, so just looking for a low cost room for the night. Pretty much what I got.

It is a very beautiful home. That is very quite and homey.

I stayed here during a clinical rotation at the local hospital. Just an FYI, Jeff does not stay at this house. I didn't know this upon arrival, but he was still accommodating for my time there. The house was great and clean as expected. In my opinion, the private room itself was kinda small for the price. Luckily, the amenities within the house were free to use and everything was there that I needed. I suppose that makes up it. A cleaning service comes once a month to tidy up the house, which was a nice touch. There are others staying at the house as well. They were friendly and quiet. Some would even make extra food for you (if you're lucky hah). I mostly saw them in the evening. I never got the chance to walk the trails near the house, but I heard they're amazing. It's also only a 10 minute drive to the hospital so that was a plus. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend it.

We were so happy to come across this lovely little cozy upstairs apartment! It was just the right size for what we needed (2 adults, 2 young kids) and so close to everything we wanted to check out. It was great to be able to cook some of our own meals, enjoy some afternoon downtime, and snuggle up with a movie (or weep in our beer over that final Packers loss). Donna and her husband were very responsive, answered any questions we had, and even included some fresh, homemade cookies upon our arrival! We would definitely recommend this little charmer of a place!

I'm not one to give an excellent rating easily. I've used AirBnb several times in the past in different parts of the country, most were rated 4-5 stars, but I came away disappointed because my expectations were high. But Donna is different...everything was as good as advertised if not better. Trust me when I say this but Donna had everything perfect...check-in process, overall hospitality, communication, cleanliness of her apartment, available amenities, and the little personal touches throughout the apartment that made my stay very pleasant. Kudos to Donna!

This is a must do! They go far and beyond to make your stay comfortable! They provide alot of extra touches that are very unexpected including fresh baked cookies. If there is anything you forgot to pack believe me, it is already there in the Airbnb. Paul and Dana, keep doing what you are doing!!

The Inn on Billy Goat hill is a great place to stay. Up on a hill, it is walking distance to the "sea side" downtown, and the lake area. The two bedroom upstairs apartment is so cozy and comfortable and clean. Donna and Paul have so many thoughtful touches -- fresh flowers, makings in the fridge for a simple breakfast, books to read and even take, and amazingly, fresh chocolate chip cookies! The place is as warm and delightful as they are!

This place was everything described on the app and more. Donna and Paul were super friendly, helpful, and responsive. The place was spacious and clean with all of the amenities that we could possibly need. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend anyone else traveling to the area to stay there as well.

We loved the house so much. It's so cute and we loved the charm of the older house mixed with the beautiful interior modern renovations. It was perfect for our girls' weekend!

What a great location! A pleasant walk to downtown, harbor, and lighthouse. A short drive to Cedarburg, Kohler, and Milwaukee. The upstairs bedroom suite was a nice separation for us, with the younger generation’s later night hours. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the appliances, heating, etc. controls very straight-forward and easy to operate. Bathrooms were very clean. We particularly enjoyed the porch swing with a lake view, The Twisted Willow restaurant, Bernie’s Fine Meats, and The Farmstead restaurant in Cedarburg.

We had such a fun girl's weekend! Stephanie's home was clean and as advertised - it was so cozy. Communication was prompt and clear and we new exactly what to expect. Thank you!

Gina's home is warm and lovely. We absolutely adored our stay there. Gina had a wonderful breakfast spread every morning. We were in town to go hiking at Kettle Moraine, which was only a 15-20 minute drive away. They suggested we check out Random Lake Pizzeria and we had the most wild pizza combinations (including a Chicago Style Hot Dog Pizza which was delicious) and some homemade blueberry ice cream. This place is perfect for a relaxing getaway weekend in nature. I can't wait to find a time to visit again when the farm is in full bloom.

The farm was amazing. So relaxing. The grounds were lovely. Even the drive there was peaceful. Gina even had coffee for me in the morning. I was super grateful for that. And the flowers. The flowers were stunning!!! Can not say enough good things about the farm. Oh I can not forget about Bernard the handsome golden retriever. I am quite fond of him. Such a good boy. :). .

Probably my best AirBnB experience. Gina and Cheryl are perfect hosts, the farm is beautiful, breakfast is great, room is gorgeous (though we were actually in the sunflower room instead of the lavender). An incredible value, too, they're sure to make a great vacation even better.

We had a wonderful stay at the flower farm. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious enough for our family of four. We loved interacting with the dogs and cat - it made it feel a bit like home. Cherie was a gracious host, giving us a tour of their farm as well as suggestions for other things to do during our visit to Wisconsin. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and we highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Very welcoming home. Gina is a great hostess and makes a great omelette. The home is clean and spacious.

The flower farm was very lovely and our entire family had a wonderful time relaxing on the property, most specifically in the morning at breakfast. Gina and Sheri make an incredible, tasty, fresh breakfast that adds to the charm of their farm stay. The grounds around the farm were nice to explore or if shade was needed there are plenty of benches spread around the property to sit back and enjoy the view and peacefulness. We also had fun playing with the dogs and cozying up with their friendly cat. Gina and Sheri are fantastic hosts and we highly recommend their home.

The Flower Farm was excellent! Gina and Cherie were flexible regarding our later check-in time and made a fantastic breakfast for us. We were in the area to play golf and would definitely stay here again. We left with 3 beautiful bouquets of flowers.

My family had a great time at Ryan’s home over the holidays. The home is in a beautiful calm location. We enjoyed watching ice fishermen on the lake and even saw a bald eagle. The cheese store down the road is amazing. The house is laid out very well for a here is enough room for a group of people. There’s plenty of room to gather in the open floor plan kitchen/dining/living area, but enough room up the spiral staircase for everyone to all have their own space, with TVs in most of the bedrooms where people can log into their own accounts and relax as they would at home. Would love to stay again during the summer!

This was our first Airbnb experience, waking up and looking at the lake every morning was an incredible experience. Neighbors were friendly and the locals make the town a great time.

We needed a large vacation home to house several out of town and overseas guests for our daughter’s wedding in downtown Milwaukee and this lake house was perfect! It’s beautifully decorated and very comfortable with an awesome lake view. We especially enjoyed the large kitchen and downstairs living & dining spaces for family dinners and gatherings. This home is highly recommended if you are looking for a lake house in a quiet small town.

Great location for complete relaxation

We had a great stay at this lovely lakehouse. Great large kitchen area and outdoor area for everyone to gather, and very comfortable rooms.

This lake home is very much worth the money! Great vacation for the price. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need (except a garage disposal which was no big deal). The ground floor was so open and stylish! The house has a lot of games and fun for kids. I loved all the blankets all around. The kayaks and paddle board were a huge hit. I was so impressed with the communication of the host!! The bunk bed room was perfect for our kids! The only thing I wish I would have had was a washer and dryer because I did not pack well. I would recommend this to anyone!

Joanne's property is warm, welcoming, unique, and offers incredible peace, quiet, and solitude. She goes out of her way to make guests feel invited and welcome. She adds amazingly thoughtful and personal touches for her guests (for example, leaving a coffee gift for my boyfriend's birthday). The animals and property add great entertainment. Her entire family was kind, respectful, and gracious in hosting our visit and in respecting our quiet and solitude. We did not have our children with us, but will bring them with for sure the next time. There is so much to do and see on the farm. Joanne, thank you for making our weekend away a great weekend to remember. We returned rested and relaxed. We look forward to our next visit.

Our second trip to Hilltop Haven was just as good as our first! Can’t wait to visit again for an escape from city life.

We stayed at Joanne on our (long way) path from Detroit, through the UP, to Chicago. As I crossed into WI, the fall colors were behind me and I was a bit dissapointed at the landscape - farms forever and little trees - and then there is Joanne's! It is equally eccentric and down home and we were made very comfortable. The view is amazing! We were lucky to be there on a full moon as well. Joanne was such a thoughtful host! She called a day before to let me know that she was flexible on check in and out times. She made suggestions of places to visit and where to dine. I would suggest if you are sensitive to perfumes/fragrances, perhaps ask Joanne to unplug the Glade plug-ins for you before your arrival. Most people would think this is a lovely touch, but I had to air out the place a bit due to an allergy to synthetic fragrances - which is on me, not the host to regulate and research.

This was first time booking with the person present so I was a bit nervous. Rosie was great. I was very relived to have everything go smoothly. She even told me about nearby amenities and stores. The whole family Rosie, Ping, son and cat and dog were super friendly. Yard area was beautiful. Living areas were immaculate. Everything you could hope for was there. Thanks Rosie!

Rosie’s house is a beautiful farmhouse with lots of character in a great, safe, accessible area of Port Washington. Inside, she had left lots of thoughtful touches and it was always clear where everything was and what guests were supposed to do. It was spotless and felt like a very happy place. Check in was a breeze, and Rosie responded very quickly to all messages. I met her dog, the tiniest puppo EVER, but I’m very sad I didn’t get to meet her—she seemed like a very interesting person!

wow where to begin it all worked out great very quite, close to everything beyond friendly family there small dog and cat were friendly and sweet rosie made it feel like you were at your own home

Rosie makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Exactly as listed. Nothing fancy, great value and convenient to the lake.

Highly recommend! If you have an extended stay, Rosie will leave a bit of space in the cupboard and fridge so you can keep your food there, plus the drawers and closet in the bedroom are empty for use.

Rosie is a great host and her house is even prettier in person! The house is close to both the lake and the interstate so it's easy to travel but there's also plenty to see in town. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is spacious, plus it's great to have a private bathroom. Highly recommend.

A picturesque, low key, fun-for-everyone home away from home. Great views, comfortable remodeled spaces, this was truly an experience that exceeded our expectations. There were hungry fish for fishing off of the pier and it was great to be able to hang out on the 3-season room or deck and enjoy a couple cocktails in the evening while kids that were winding down could play video games in an adjacent area. Truly was a great retreat. We hope to come back again next year too. Owner and property manager were accessible if needed too. Thank you so much for a memorible trip! P. S. With a 2 year old, things were baby proofed too which was A-MAZING!!! Didn't expect that! 😊

Loved our time at the Lake. Beautiful, comfortable house with really nice views and places to hang out. Don & his team are great. This is a perfect lake for swimming and some kid friendly fishing! Be sure to visit the wildlife zoo down the street if you’re with kids/grandkids

We enjoyed our stay at Don's place! The house is in great shape - but we pretty much lived on the deck and in the water. House had everything we needed (as far as kitchen & supplies) and beds/furniture were very comfortable. We did rent his boat and had a couple hiccups with that. We probably wouldn't rent the boat again as we had our own fishing boat and that would've been enough. Ideally, try to go with 3 cars or less as parking is limited. All in all, we would definitely stay here again! Views are amazing - Thanks Don!

This was my first experience with an Airbnb and it changed my feelings about ever staying in a hotel again. School brought me to the area, and after my two week stay, I didn't want to leave. I loved the house and the Grafton area. The home was super clean, everything I needed was there, comfortable seating and beds, and wonderful communication with Tom throughout the whole process. I would recommend this property to my family and friends!

Awesome stay! Visiting elderly parents in Grafton. Great for our whole family (wife and I and two grown kids). Clean, neat, well appointed. Great instructions and location to boot!. Will definitely stay again in the future as our parents age and we need to be close by when visiting.

Definitely a home away from home. We were in town for our daughters wedding and it felt as if we were “at Home.” The location is awesome working walking distance to town, parks and lovely strolls thru friendly neighborhood. The home itself has all of your needs... comfy beds, cozy couches and an awesome kitchen! We loved the special touches of fall decorations. The communication with the hosts was outstanding! We can’t wait to go back!

We have stayed at AirBnbs around the world and this might have been one of the best. The labeling of lights switches and drawers made it so easy to feel comfortable and settle in quickly. Thomas thought of all the things a guest house would need for a great experience and added them in. Despite being a few time zones away, his responses were quick and thorough. My mom said “this is better than any hotel room we could have booked.” If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here.

Amazing home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Gracious hosts who thought of everything. Just far enough off the main path to be quiet and close enough to walk to the beach or get some fishing in on the boardwalk. Hope to be able to come back again. Georgia

Our stay at Tristina's family home exceeded expectations. We were in town for the wedding and found the space to be incredibly clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We were able to walk into town and the Saturday farmer's market and return to relax in the back yard. Tristina's suggestions were perfect and Port Washington is a little gem.

Spectacular host. Responsiveness was second to none. They offered plenty of suggestions on places to eat and drink. The location can not be beat. Walking distance to down town and plenty of space to entertain and hang out. This place exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again.

House was very clean and in a good, safe neighborhood. Parking available behind the house, the house is within walking distance to downtown (10 min walk).

This was a perfect place for our family to come together and spend some time together. It surpassed my expectations. Their home is in a quiet area, yet within walking distance to downtown and the waterfront. I loved the character of this older house. It is well taken care of and beautifully, yet comfortably decorated. As someone else mentioned, the floor of the upper level hall does creak in places, but that was a very minor inconvenience. Everything else was great. With old home character, some creaks will come. We appreciated having the use of their grill. I would definitely use this place again.

We enjoyed our stay! House is conveniently located, though on the main road so you’ll just want to be aware of that with small children. House is surprisingly large with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Host was super responsive and helpful. Would stay again!

This is a special cottage close to downtown Port Washington and quick drive to historic Cedarburg, WI. We would definitely stay at Heidi & Christian's rental again!

Mary and Brett were very helpful, responsive, and kind. The place is charming, clean, and in a great location with close proximity to downtown Port Washington. There were many nice touches such as having new tooth brushes and tooth paste if needed and clear instructions for everything there was to the place including tips for things to do in Port Washington. Overall a great stay!

Great hosts, who are very thoughtful and quick to respond. It was a very comfortable and quiet place. The sunroom was bright and very comfortable, and the bed was just right. I splept a solid 8 hours. The location is convenient, and Port Washington has lots of shops, bars, restaurants, parks and convienences. A very good experience.

We had a wonderful Friday night stay in Port Washington. Mary’s space was cozy, beautifully clean, and made us feel at home. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in outside of my own and made for a good night’s rest. The sunroom and backyard space are both lovely and I only wish we could’ve utilized the outdoor space more if it weren’t for the Halloween snow arrival. So close to the cute downtown area, we went restaurant hopping and checked out various stops from Mary’s suggestions. Communication was great the whole way through and overall, I’d be happy to come stay again and would recommend Mary’s place to others!

Great place. It’s an entire apartment basically. Woods outside the large scale windows are perfect for morning coffee. Sparkling clean.
