Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

We booked with Sara & Tom on a whim for a nearby Sunrise Solstice Swim, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt five-star. As soon as we pulled into the driveway, they greeted us so warmly and welcomed us into what truly felt like a little oasis. After our swim, breakfast was beautifully and perfectly timed. I barely touched my phone during our stay — the whole experience felt like a peaceful retreat, with just a hint of Downton Abbey charm. My favourite moment? Seeing Tom in his pink apron, playing the perfect host. It honestly felt like we had our very own butler at The Little Abode. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thank you for the best stay ever!!

Glenn was really open, the room I booked wasn't available but offered me a alternative room with ensuite. The room was clean and had everything I needed. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train station, close to the town centre but far enough away at the same time for a quiet evening. I was going to an event at the Social and was super close.

Absolute gem of a stay! Such a clever extension, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully designed to have everything you need and with loads of beautifully crafted items. Pru gave us eggs, bread, homemade lemon curd and some other bits when we arrived which was such a nice touch. Very clear instructions, recommendations for the local area and very responsive to our questions. It was our first stay away on our own with our 10 week old, and Pru provided a beautiful (handmade!) moses basket for our baby to sleep in as well as a little basket of sensory toys for her, which she loved! She was kind about the crying and the space felt very separate from the house due to the use of the porch to split into two houses. I would recommend this AirBnB to anyone! Unique and beautiful space close to Hull, Beverley and an easy drive to the coast.

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Really enjoyed staying in the pod, the location is absolutely perfect and incredibly peaceful. Adam and Emma were great hosts and were really accommodating responding to any queries instantly. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing get away.

Gorgeous place to stay - we were here for two days, and it was perfect. I'm disabled and have mobility problems, and this was such an easy place to stay. It's super accessible with a walk in shower and very easy to get around. Loved it. We were here to see family and everything was perfect. It's probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed on Air BnB, and we felt very welcome. The milk in the fridge was such a lovely touch because we got there late on Friday. Really well equipped and lovely place. Would very highly recommend. Karen was a lovely host, very responsive and made us feel very welcome. Thank you so much!

I had a lovely weekend here with my parents. We came up for Whit Friday with very few other plans, and ended up doing a couple of lovely walks from the front door - with the train station only a short walk away we only needed the car to travel from home which was a bonus. The space itself was very well thought out - it felt like every detail was considered to make the most of the space. The view out over the valley was lovely. I would absolutely come back if in the area again

We stayed for a couple of nights over my birthday and I couldn’t recommend it enough! Barrie was so helpful and provided plenty of information about places to go and things to do around Knaresborough. The lodge was pristine, with stunning furniture and the air conditioning was a real life saver with the heatwave. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this is the perfect place to go. Hopefully, we can come back soon! :)

We enjoyed a fabulous 2 nights at The Annexe. Perfect location, beautiful accommodation. Extremely comfortable beds! The host family were very welcoming and their little dog was a joy. My Grandson enjoyed the outside toys. Will recommend . Many thanks

This home is an absolute Gem!! We stayed as we were at a wedding close by and can honestly say it exceeded all our expectations. Mick was so flexible with check in which enabled us to get all set up before going to the wedding. The house was spotless, the photos don’t do it justice. The bedroom was beautiful and plenty big for the 4 of us. The bathroom is stunning and the shower was amazing. Honestly cannot recommend this place enough, thankyou for everything x

My stay at the accommodation was perfect. Situated in the lovely village of Shadwell, the accommodation was peaceful and comfortable. Roger is an attentive host.

Graeme and Helen’s place is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a couple of nights with our dog and it was perfect. Lovely area for our dog to safely roam around and a massive paddock area also available to us. The place is spacious and well laid out and has everything you need with additional goodies thrown in. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked lovely and sure would be a lovely place to be in an evening. Would recommend for anyone to stay and we will look to come back again!

The location of the air bnb is really good as you are close enough to local shops and super markets which are convince, but also a couple minutes drive away from rural Peak District The property has everything you need and Justin the host communicated well and made sure that we had everything we needed. Would definitely consider staying here again

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely caravan – it was perfect for all ages and had everything we needed. The caravan was spotless and really comfortable. There was plenty to do both on-site and in the surrounding area. We visited for my daughter’s 5th birthday, and she had an amazing time at the kids club – it really made her trip special. Withernsea was a great choice too – peaceful and not too busy. A big thank you to Gillian for allowing us to stay; we hope to return again soon! Cherish. X

Had an absolutely lovely stay. The cottage was incredibly clean and cozy. We had a few lovely nights where we chose to watch tv and not go out at all! The cottage was very well stocked and we felt right at home. Linens were spotless and there was great water pressure and heat. The hosts were very sweet and caring. Could not recommend this cozy place enough.

What a lovely find and great few days we spent at Lollybog’s cottage. Sarah was a wonderful host who made us feel right at home. Second to the host is this lovely cottage. It’s a real tardis that kept on going. Over two floors you have everything you need for a holiday and more. Then you have the lovely garden, the welcoming hot tub and the stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales. We really didn’t want to leave. For sure, we will be back! I have no clue how this little gem is described on ‘what three words’ but it should be ‘stunning, comforting, welcoming’. Such an amazing location! The accommodation was beautiful - couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for a long weekend away, escaping from the hustle and bustle of London! The hosts were amazing; very polite and welcoming - they were very responsive when it came to answering any questions we had via the app but were also great people to speak to in-person! I would 100% recommend staying here, I will for sure be back one day 😁
