Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Riviera Maya

The home was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—beautiful and welcoming. The only issue was an unpleasant odor coming from one of the bathrooms, which we discovered was due to the toilet brush. Once we identified the source, we placed the brush in the backyard, and the smell was no longer a problem. The home was clean, the instructions were clear, and the property itself was stunning—just steps away from the beach. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway.

We had a wonderful week at Mataray Tulum. The place is beautiful and peaceful and having the private beach made all the difference. But importantly, the staff were incredible. So accommodating and friendly, and always offering advice on where to go for dinner or excursions. There was never a tie that we didn't feel taken care of. The accommodation was amazing. The beds were amazingly comfortable, and my husband and son had great fun in the evening playing pool upstairs. The balance of having your own accommodation, but being connected to a hotel if you want food or drinks was a great combo! We will definitely come for another visit.

If you are able to book this incredible location, DO IT! Perfect location, beautiful outdoor space, wonderful interior design, EXACTLY what we needed for a relaxing and refreshing vacation. Mirko is a tremendous host! His recommendations were SO incredibly valuable and spot-on! We were so relieved to have such wonderful suggestions for activities and restaurants; not having to spend time researching on where to eat and what to do was PRICELESS. We can't thank Mirko enough!

This place is heaven! I now understand why this place has a perfect review score: it truly lives up to all of the expectations set, and then some. The house is super peaceful and private-with two very helpful and friendly caretakers onsite when needed, but totally out of your way when not. We basically lived in the pool and adjacent palapa and just lounged for 5 days in this small slice of paradise. Don't expect to swim in the ocean (we got lucky and the sargassum subsided 1 afternoon) -- but its not an issue at all. The pool is amazing + there are so many cenotes and swimming spots within a 5-20 minute drive (15 mins from Xelha, highly recommend). The inside is exactly everything a couple needs - it felt like a luxury suite at a 5 star resort. Large comfy bed, nice bathroom, and decent sized kitchen and living room -- all super clean and well stocked. We grocery shopped and cooked a few meals + there are many decent restaurants within a 5-20 min walk or short drive. We will be back!

The house is beautiful and just as described. Alex met us in person when we arrived and showed us around. He was responsive throughout our visit when we had questions, and prepared delicious food for the meals we had prearranged, plus a gorgeous fresh ceviche. Alex also connected us with a captain in Punta Allen for a really wonderful half-day outing with crocodile, manatee, sea turtle, and dolphin sightings plus lots of birds, fish, a little snorkeling. The road to Tulum is in better condition than we expected. The seaweed was as noted in the booking, but the nearby beach is an easy trip and beautiful. We had a great, relaxing week. Thank you!

The place was great! Just like the pictures. The building is also very good, we felt safe. The amenities were awesome. Having gone during the sargassum period, the terrace was ideal since we could still enjoy the sun with the pools and the bar. Ryan is a great host, communication was great and he responded very quickly to any questions we had. 10/10 for Ryan and the accommodation. It is also well located, a few minutes' walk from Quinta Avenida. It's not in the most "touristy" part of Playa del Carmen, but we liked this aspect because it was a quieter place. 😊

great place, we liked the furniture, the design and the decorations. We were the only ones at the apartment complex and felt like our own private resort. The pool area was great and we did take advantage of it. The staff was very helpful and explained to us how to use the laundry. Everything was really great. The location is great to explore the cenotes in the area. Likewise, it is close to, both, Tulum and Playa del Carmen. I would certainly recommend this place to friends and family next time they would want to stay in between these two cities. I would certainly recommend to add as a recommendation for dinner the restaurant called "La Buena Vida" (labuenavidarestaurant). If it was recommended to us, please disregard. I liked and appreciate the fact that you were aware of our fun by providing suggestions of what to do. Thank you for that. By the way, we did not have to open the main outside door (black) since it was always open. With nothing else, thank you again, loved it very!!!

Overall, my experience was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a place that combines luxury, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, This place is a perfect choice. I would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

First time in Tulum. Assaf’s place was great! Walking distance to the center of town and just as described. Assaf was very attentive and responsive, gave us great recommendations for the short time we were there. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful location in La Veleta neighborhood. Cafes, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance. Scooter rental across the street. Quick to shopping and an easy drive to the beach. Loved everything

Stay here! Carlos is immediately responsive and accommodating. The building is safe and the apt: squeaky clean, quiet and comfy with all the amenities + breathtaking views from the rooftop pool. Located in one of the nicest spots in Playa and completely accessible to everything by foot. Really great experience!

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastic location. This is an extremely special place, the apartment is fabulously equipped and the terrace is simply superb. Shops and restaurants are nearby and everyone we met was so friendly.

We booked this Airbnb last minute after checking out early from the Fairmont Mayakoba due to a disappointing experience, and WOW — what a blessing in disguise. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The interior design of the home is absolutely stunning — every single detail has been thoughtfully curated, making the space both luxurious and welcoming. The home is impeccably clean with comfortable beds and bedding. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood, yet still within easy walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. Oscar, our host, went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible stay. He is very quick to respond and gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants and activities. He even arranged a scooter rental for us, which was seamless and super convenient. After such a chaotic start to our trip, this stay truly turned everything around. We can’t recommend this place — or Oscar — highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome! Definitely the best place you can find in Playa del Carmen, the apartment felt like being at home, it has absolutely everything, the apartment and the luxury facilities, the great amenities, Olivia was very attentive and very kind, walking to 5th Avenue was a great walk, it's about 12 minutes, I will definitely return! The best place in Playacar is here!

Chris’s apartment was exactly as described – very clean, well-kept, and beautifully furnished. Communication was excellent; whenever we had a question, we received a quick response. The shared pool was cleaned daily and was almost always quiet and nearly empty. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back

The condo was wonderful and Michaela was an incredible host. We enjoyed the amazing views and comfortable apartment and felt very well taken care of. Michaela was remarkably responsive when a couple little things came up and made the entire experience smooth. The location on Half Moon Bay was perfect- we snorkeled right out front of the building, using the ample equipment they provided, and loved walking to the beach bars in Akumal (especially Buena Vida and La Lunita). It was also an easy walk to the lagoon, which was a must see as well. Having seen Tulum, we were so glad to have the much more laid back vibe of Akumal. The condo was perfectly located for an easy but peaceful stay with lots of swimming in the pool and staring at the blue water. For what it’s worth, the elevator was working almost the entire time we were there, but was out for part of a day. We did not end up making use of the rooftop area- it wasn’t really necessary with the lovely deck on the apartment.

Great apartment in a nice condo complex. It’s worth noting that if you’re after beach time to note that Playa del Carmen and that coast gets a lot of seaweed from May thru August apparently, so be prepared for the smell and not using the sea much. The apartment is wonderful, well lit, very spacious and well equipped. The host is very responsive. The pool setup is great, added bonus having same shade over the pool. Staff at the complex are fantastic. Overall we enjoyed our stay here

We’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs, and this one was the best one yet—such a high value for a low price. Camille and Edir were phenomenal hosts; Edir especially met us in person a few times and was so amazing and gave above-and-beyond service. The apartment itself is incredibly beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos, but feels even more spacious than the photos. I was so impressed with the laundry service, daily housekeeping and beautiful pool right on the beach. This stay was an enormous value!!! Thank you Edir and Camille!!
