2 Bed Self Contained Apartment Wrexham

Josh is a super host, we really enjoy his flat, very quiet, short distance to brilliant walks and beach of Talacre. We’ll book again, all you need in kitchen, very clean flat, good shower. It’s next to a barrack but not an issue as was very quiet in our stay.

From start to finish, such a fabulous stay. Communication was excellent and the owners are helpful and interactive and also felt i had my privacy. The house is stunning and incredibly comfortable in every way. Has everything you need in the kitchen too. Eating my breakfast watching the blue tits nesting and listening to bird singing every morning was a joy I genuinely didnt want to leave i felt so relaxed and id definitely like to return and stay again . Thanks Rachel and David for everything ❤️

Shepherds Hut, Llangollen, North Wales

staceyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Well appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location. Only 15 mins walk to the Pontcysyllte Acquesuct and 8 mins drive to Llangollen. Russell is a friendly and welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the BBQ and the lovely outdoor seating area. It's a great base for the outdoor activities , whether it be canoeing across the Aqueduct or walking to Castel Dinas Bran. We took in the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry.

Idyllic Shepherd’s hut

GeoffRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay in the Shepherd’s Hut. Tiff and Sean were wonderful hosts, very welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much for them. When we arrived, they spent lots of time showing us around the Hut and the grounds, including taking us down to the river and pointing out the ‘dipping spots’, that Sean had dug out himself. They have a large garden, that they both quite clearly spend many hours maintaining. The Hut itself was short of nothing, plenty of towels, crockery, glassware, as well as the simple bonuses, such as salt and pepper, washing up liquid, a tea towel and cooking oil for the air fryer! Sean even picked some strawberries from their garden and kindly gave them to us. They were delicious! The Hut and its contents were all so clean, that we felt like we were the first to even stay there! Having the sauna at the property, was definitely an added bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate at booking with Tiff and Sean again. Thank you both so much.

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal World Heritage Site

AMAZING 👏 Weve had a fantastic few days. Felt right at home & overall homely and very comfortable. Our dogs appreciated the little treats as well. Great facilities & spotlessly clean. Peta was very friendly and responsive. Allowed us to check in a little earlier, which was fab. It's ideally situated for exploring the local sights & wonderful walks ( especially along canal).

Get away from it all in our cozy Hideaway

DarbyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What can we say, we chose The Hideaway for a quick get a way on our week off. We couldnt have asked for more! The Hideaway itself was in an amazing location, stunning little house, spotless, cosy, & easy to find with thanks to Helen’s thorough directions. We visited Minera Quarry, the Lead Mines, Rivers, Nature reserves and walked all day long. Not five minutes away from the pod there are Incredible walks, views and wildlife. The local pub just down the road & the nearest town ten minutes away it is the perfect mix of private and peaceful but still close enough to walk to town. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day to squeeze in more exploring. Thankyou, Helen & Chris. What a place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
