Inside the private Pavilion gardens you will find two separate cottages - Olaf and Tilia. They are ‘tiny houses’ – small but perfect with every amenity and fully self-contained. Olaf is nestled in the garden, surrounded by trees and flowers. Tilia, at the top of the drive, enjoys a rural view up the hill with sheep, cows and the odd kangaroo jumping by. Both have outside fire pits for marshmallow toasting on brisk Highlands nights. We are 5 mins drive from both Mittagong and Bowral main streets.

It is very secluded, comfortable and quiet yet so close to town and all the "goodies" the beautiful Southern Highlands have to offer. A complete kitchen, your own bathroom and toilet, a large walk-in wardrobe makes this sunny apartment a very pleasant place to stay for a weekend or a week.

A rustic hideaway at the bottom of our half-acre garden under gum trees filled with native birds. There's a small private garden at the rear, a sprawling vege patch and the fire pit in front. The 5x8 metre building has a small ensuite and bar fridge. There's no TV but the WIFI is fast and a projector with HDMI connection is discretely placed to project streamed cinema onto the wall. We are just 2km from the town's best cafes and Mittagong Station.

This is a comfortable self-contained studio, formerly an actual artist's studio, underneath the main residence, with its own shower and toilet, as well as a kitchenette. It has a queen bed, a king single that doubles as a sofa, and a single trundle bed. It has a small dining table and four chairs. It now boasts a camping washing machine for light loads, and an airer, as well as a dehumidifier. I also added an air fryer!

Deborah and Mike's place has been wonderful to stay in as a weekend getaway from Sydney. This has honestly been one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in and extremely generous with the services/ amenities provided!!! The cottage was spotless and kitchen was well stocked with all the basics if you wanted to enjoy a meal at home. I could not recommend this place enough and definitely will be coming back in the future when I have the time. Thank you xx

We booked this stay very last-minute after a bad experience elsewhere, and it ended up being such a lovely surprise! The host was lovely and greeted us upon arrival, running us through everything we needed to know about the property. The house was incredibly warm and cozy despite the freezing weather outside, and the modern facilities made everything so comfortable and easy. I usually get homesick when away, but this place honestly felt like home. The shower was amazing, the whole space was spotless and beautifully set up, and it had absolutely everything we needed—even thoughtful little snacks, which were a lifesaver with our toddler in tow. We also adored Pickle and Lily, the sweetest, friendliest dogs and the grounds were picturesque. We all had a great night’s sleep and left feeling rested and grateful. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Archie’s and really enjoyed the warm and cozy apartment. Jane responded so quickly to the one little hiccup we had, the issue was sorted within 20 minutes of first contacting her. A fabulous place for a country escape, we would definitely stay again.

Perfect for a peaceful and cosy weekend or a few days respite from your routine. Great location close to Bowral & surrounds, and the cottage was so welcoming. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Everything had been thought of including a fire lit by Kate on arrival and on returning back to the cottage after a day out. Kate had lots of recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. Kate had delicious local bread as well as eggs and cereal available for breakfast. The cottage was spotless; bed linen was of great quality. Kate’s dog Mara the Mareema and her Burmese Astro were adorable. Would absolutely recommend.

Margs house was fantastic, great location, very comfortable, the best amenities it’s ever experienced. The place was warm so perfect for Bowral when it’s colder. Everything you needed was there. Marg left us so many delicious treats, which was so lovely for the next day. Great communication and instructions of local area. Would strongly recommend this to others and would love to go back again.
