Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Redding

Our family wanted to go to lake Shasta, whiskeytown lake, the waterfalls and other types of things and we decided to stay in Redding. This location was perfect! It was right in the middle of everything. Lots of food options. Lots of things to do and the house was absolutely gorgeous. I was very pleased with how clean it was and the neighbors were also really nice. It had everything you needed. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to go to any of the nearby lakes or waterfalls.

This is the second time I have stayed here and enjoyed it immensely! Comfortable beds and pillows. Place is always clean and super close to my best friend’s house. Close to the freeway and lots of restaurants! Thanks so much for another wonderful stay in California!!

We enjoyed our long weekend in the bungalow! The place was just as described, and Brandy was very responsive before and during our stay. The area is very residential, but not far (a 20+ minute walk down a hill) from restaurants and downtown Redding. All essential amenities were available, and it was nice to have a washer and dryer on the back deck.

The house was excellent for 6 travelers and we all felt comfortable in her beautiful home. Thank you Cathy.

The home itself is clean, well-equipped, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood that has brought them peace of mind and comfort. With two months left in their stay, my parents are genuinely looking forward to continuing to enjoy this wonderful space. We’re so grateful to have found a place that feels like home away from home.

Similar to another guest I was a little nervous about having a shared back yard/pool but it wasn’t a problem at all. I stayed here on a trip with my 3 teenagers. The house had everything needed and the beds were comfortable. I especially appreciated the large quantity of towels available. So convenient. And plenty of hot water. The yard is really pretty, and the fruit trees make it feel like a country oasis.

My stay at Linda's was only 1 night but if I am back in the area I will book again. She was flexible with my check in time when I needed to arrive late and her place is very comfortable. I had my kitty with me too and was very appreciative of her willingness to have my kitty too. Her place would be very comfortable for a much longer stay with the full kitchen and ample seating inside and outside.

Super clean and stocked loft. A nice bed to rest after 10+ hours of driving. I rented it twice and it perfect both times. Very close to a farmers market and restaurants which was awesome

Great place and great hosts. It’s a vintage home with lots of charm. Spacious and comfortable. Slept really well on a nice bed. Greg was very helpful and always responsive to questions. They give you plenty of space to do your thing. The neighborhood is nice too. Quiet but close to the old downtown and everything on the west side.

5 Stars – A Tranquil, Homely Escape Surrounded by Nature We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The space is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully put together—everything you could want for a peaceful getaway. One of the real highlights for us was being surrounded by trees; it gave the whole place a serene atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and relax. The host was fantastic, communicative, and a fab welcome with a nice food hamper. Details had been considered, which made our stay feel extra special. We left feeling refreshed and recharged, and we would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, quiet, and a real sense of homely retreat. This place fun and interesting but hot. WiFi seems to have trouble after midnight and the 26 stairs are super steep. Location is great and lots to walk and see, price was also great and the decor was cute. Better AC and fridge that doesn’t freeze your food. Oh and smashed my fingers in the door due to odd shape and lip over door handle. Great place overall and if same price I would definitely book again :-)
