Our stay with Rue was fantastic! Honestly the photos don't do it justice, the pool was a lot bigger than it looked. Great place to do exactly what they advertised, play, rest, repeat. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Kate’s guesthouse. The space was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed—and then some. The bed and furniture were very comfortable, and the cottage was impeccably clean. We especially loved how private it felt; tucked into a quiet corner of the backyard, it truly felt like our own little retreat. Kate was a pleasure to communicate with, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience.

This house was perfect to accommodate our family’s visit to the Redding area for a wedding! We loved the quiet neighborhood and the house met all our needs for a nice space to relax and visit during a hot temperature weekend! The game room was a big hit with our young grandsons! Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed staying at this guesthouse. Check-in is easy. It is private and clean, and has everything we needed with a full kitchen. The loft is cute and the bed is comfortable. The view from the deck is nice. This place is quiet and is close to supermarkets and restaurants. Cornelius and Tiffany are friendly and kind, and they reply quickly. We highly recommend this Airbnb.

The hobbit house was really great. It was like walking into a hobbit village and house. Once inside it carried out the theme, while having all of the modern appliances. The bed was very comfortable and the heavy comforter was perfect. I usually carry a weighted blanket because so many places have light weight bedding. To help carry out the theme there was a full series of J.R.R. Tolkien books and a great clock with the hobbit meal times listed, including second breakfast. Second breakfast was fantastic. i won't share what it was but it was great. I'm vegetarian and my husband isn't. Both were accommodated perfectly. It was our anniversary and we were going to Burney Falls in the morning. I didn't tell my husband were we were going to spend the night, so arriving there was quite a surprise for him, and he loved it. I would love to come back and spend more time. I highly recommend the Hobbit House for a night, or week, stay.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and relaxing cottage, it was perfect for resting after adventuring around Shasta, love the whole place, lovely and with a gorgeous garden. Location is awesome, close to different places to explore and to get more food or stuff. Barb and Dave were very nice, friendly and all what toy need is already in the instructions but they were very responsive at any moment. thank you, we had an amazing time.

My wife and I can't think of enough great words to say about our stay with Daniel and his wife! Great location to get around to all the spots in Redding and Shasta. We will be back again!

Was a great jumping-off point for a solo trip to Lassen Volcanic. Felt safe in the neighborhood, great view of the mountains, private with minimal noise from upstairs.

The photos for this listing does not do this place justice. This is, by far, one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. The layout is efficient, the interior is beautifully decorated, and the front/back porch amenities beat what you usually get at this price point. The amount of acreage on this property offers a lot of privacy, and you can hang out outside without worrying about disturbing the neighbors. There were a few things that were a bit ambiguous from the photos/listing: First, there are two separate bedrooms on opposite ends of the house. Second, the bunk bed is a double on the bottom and twin on the top. Designed to be more of a kids’ room but 2 adults can fit on the bottom if you’re on the shorter/smaller side. Third, the master bedroom only has a half bath. The full bath is in the hallway. This could be a good or bad thing depending on the needs of your group. Overall, everyone in my group loved the experience.

This was our first time to stay in a portion of a home and the studio was perfect for what we needed. It had all the amenities, was clean, easy to access, parking. Rebekah was always responsive if we had questions or needed anything. She made us feel right at home.
