Random Lake fishing places to stay

First time staying here. The house/property lived up to expectations. Very peaceful and serene while being conveniently located near any civilization needs you may have. The house was quaint and had pretty much everything one would need while staying away from home. Craig generously reached out when the house was done being turned over from the last guests to let us know we could come early if we wanted. Really hoping to find the money and time to return again.

Wonderful stay in a quiet, relaxing space. From s’mores to pool to the great hiking spots nearby, we would happily visit again.

What a wonderful stay at Edward’s place! It was exactly as described. Beautiful and peaceful location close to town but felt remote. Home was very well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Hosts even left cinnamon rolls, eggs, wine and coffee.. what a thoughtful touch! Hosts also provided an extensive list of things to do and places to eat. Would love to stay again when in the area!

To find a place in the middle of Sheboygan and right on the beach was fantastic. We loved the location but everything about the house was really perfect. Easy, super clean, and comfortable in every way.

Patrick's house on the shores of Lake Michigan is an intimate revisit to my childhood growing up in Two Rivers. The house is quaint and beachy, snug and cozy, and I find myself missing the view of the Lake and calm environment. Definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

We have stayed at Shamba 4 times. It is an absolutely amazing spot on Lake Michigan. The home is lovely and very spacious. You could not ask for better views of the lake from inside or outside. The beach is literally right outside your door. Great spot for kids to play and great for walks too. Will definitely return again.

The location is beautiful! We enjoyed sunsets each evening over the lake and had a peaceful, relaxing time catching up with family.

I can't say enough about this beautiful lake house! Greta is one of the finest hosts that I've ever come across. Timely information, quick responses, and there are so many extras!! So many toiletries, pantry, and fridge items for your comfort and convenience. We visited in October, so didn't need them, but a caddy by the rear door with suntan lotion and beach towels. Just an extremely considerate person. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return in the future.

Our family stayed with our good friends for a long weekend for a total of 9 including our kids. The house layout worked out well to have our family of four on the upper level and our friend’s family of five on the lower level to give each other some privacy when needed. The sunroom on the upper level is beautiful and it was lovely for watching the sunrise! There was room for everyone at meal time and we felt we had everything we needed to eat in each night. The water pressure in the bathrooms worked well and we managed without a bath tub for the littles. The highlight was the beach where the kids enjoyed hours in the sand. It was very private and quiet, perfect for walks on the beach. Lastly, we picked the location as it was near the Kohler Andre State Park and near Sheboygan where we spent the morning at the water park. Overall an enjoyable trip!

I loved the area, beautiful scenery & close to the restaurants. I have relatives around the area and very convenient.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful—quaint, peaceful, and right along the river which made it even prettier. Everything here was so thoughtfully prepared as it felt cozy and charming while also being fresh and comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for a summer trip with my friends.

This was the perfect getaway to enjoy the gorgeous scenery with the dogs. Cassandra was very responsive and everything was easy from booking to departure. Would definitely go back!

We truly enjoyed the little piece of tranquility. Worked while I was there and enjoyed looking out at the water. Looking forward to trying to stay at your place in this summertime as I’m sure the lake would be amazing.

Michelle and John saved our girls trip. After another site's rental was cancelled on us literally while we were driving to it, we found this place. They responded so quickly and were able to accommodate us last minute. The house and property was beautiful! We had plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was the perfect spot for our extensive snacking. We really enjoyed sitting in the yellow chairs and enjoying the view of the lake. We had everything we needed and then some. I can't recommend this property enough!

Beautiful lake home on shore of Lake Michigan. Large, well maintained yard, nice sandy beach area. We stay in lots of AirBnB houses and this is definitely on top of our list of favorites. Well stocked with kitchen and bath supplies. Lots of comfy seating indoor and outdoor. Great for families as they have many yard games, water activities and a great indoor game room. Peaceful setting day and night.

The cabin itself was fantastic. Clean and accommodated our family of 6 including a pet well. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The cabin was cozy and had great finishes. We enjoyed the fire pit and provided firewood. It was a fantastic tough having a fire going when we arrived. A couple of things to consider that are not necessarily in the owners control but helpful: the water off the dock is extremely weedy and not conducive to swimming or bobber fishing for kids. We are a tad disappointed in that. The lawn area was quite mushy given the lake was high so was practically unusable this time of year. Fishing was also pretty rough but likely due to high water and time of year. Again, time of year and not due to anything the owners can control for all the above. We enjoyed the two kayaks, canoe and paddle boat provided. The grill was a little banged up but got the job done. Overall the owners have a very well kept, cozy cabin that is very charming

Great home within walking distance to downtown Port Washington. Had a great stay and would definitely stay at Matt’s place again!

The accommodations were perfect for our short stay and Meghan was very responsive and helpful with our needs. We would love to visit again when we have more time to use all of the outdoor amenities.

From the time we booked we had feedback and communication, cant say enough about the attention to detail and supplies offered for our stay, comfortable, clean and just what we wanted for our getaway!! 5 star! If we could rate higher we would!!!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place. Host is very friendly and responsive. First time I’ve woken up feeling well rested in a minute, beds really helped any of our back issues. Main parking spots might not be available at first due to people parking there for ice fishing on the lake but plenty of street parking. If staying in the winter, run the water for a moment to run through any sediment in the pipes. (Not a house problem, just winter in Wisconsin.) :)

I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay. Dustin and his family were incredible hosts. Very clean and cozy. The swimming hole is PERFECT! Beautiful home and views. This will definitely be somewhere we return to regularly as long as they’ll have us! Cannot recommend it enough.

We had an amazing stay at Pine Dunes Cabin! The home was even better than expected—spacious yet cozy, with a beautiful rustic-modern vibe. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space for our group of six to relax and enjoy. The setting is peaceful and private, just a short walk from the beach, and the decks and fire pit made for perfect evenings. One afternoon, our group walked to the beach for a cold plunge in Lake Michigan and enjoyed the hot tub afterward. The kitchen was fully stocked (we cooked several meals), and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. Jeremy was fantastic—super communicative and helpful from start to finish. We loved our stay so much we wanted to add another day, but (not surprisingly) it was fully booked! If you're looking for a peaceful and rustic yet luxurious getaway, I would highly recommend Pine Dunes. We’ll definitely look to stay again when we’re in the area.
