Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just to let you know: Molly herself is just a kind of agency from the UK, with whom you have contact before arrival. We were then in contact with the host family on site and were very warmly welcomed by them. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were handed a homemade antipasti plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we couldn't get out of it. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl must not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and here we really want to highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

Beautiful views, 20 min by car from the nearest town, not accessible without a car. The communication went great, the house was easy to find with navigation & the area is very nice

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

Charming little cottage perfect for a small family in the hills near Florence. Had everything we needed. About 25 minutes drive through the country to central Florence so perfect for day trips in. Lovely walks in the olive groves around the cottage.

Little but very cosy house with a large and beautiful garden. The view is stunning and the house very well equipped. Renate and Matthias are very kind and communication was smooth and easy. Thanks for everything!

Stayed for a few days as i was visiting the race circuit at Imola. Perfect for that, about 25 min drive direct to the Aqua Minerali entrance. Set up on a hillside , very peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were very helpful and friendly. I didn’t eat at any restaurants as i ate at the circuit and cooked at the house. There is a small supermarket in the town 10 mins away for all your supplies. Lovely to eat outside amongst the trees. Highly recommend if you visiting this beautiful part of Italy.

First of all, it should be emphasized that Fabio is a wonderful, courteous and helpful host. The house is lovingly and stylishly decorated. The village is located in the middle of the mountains of Garfagnana and together with its surroundings it is an oasis of tranquility. From Bagni di Lucca, a 7 km long, narrow, winding road leads to Lugnano-Monti di Villa. On the route, you will pass 2 more small villages. One of them is Granaiola, where you can eat super delicious food at Laura's. We will be happy to come back :-) Anne and Helga

We felt totally comfortable, the house is very nice and spacious. Our dog was also very happy about the large garden and we had great days by the pool. Ilaria is super friendly, helpful and always quickly available. We will be happy to come back! 😊

Yet another wonderful stay in Meriggio in Settignano. The location and views are so beautiful, and the house is so comfortable and perfect for two people. As it is our third visit, we know what to expect and yet again, it met all our expectations easily. A perfect place to relax and unwind, yet with easy access to Firenze when you want a change of scene.

Alessia and David were amazing hosts! So kind and welcoming. We felt right at home and their family owned home is a true gem. Stunning views and just an amazing garden with pool, truly private on top of a mountain. You can tell they care bout this house and look after it with lots of love and care, it made the stay so much more memorable. ❤️

The cottage with countryside of Francesco and Laura is very pleasant, surrounded by olive trees and nature. A really nice and perfect setting to relax, but also as a base to visit the beauties of Tuscany. The accommodation has everything you need for a stay, the fireplace is a real treat to create a romantic atmosphere. If I had to criticize something, I would say that the bed is not the most comfortable but, being a sofa bed (given the open space context) it is absolutely tolerable. The host Francesco welcomed us in person and immediately proved to be very kind and helpful to make our stay the best. Highly recommended!

Nice and quiet place. Beautiful views of the hills .Lost of outdoor space and sweet distance sound of the church bell. Lovely place to get back too after a busy day elsewhere.

It was a very nice week in Tuscany despite the rather rainy weather. The house is wonderful, large, warm, with all the amenities. There is also a wonderful yard with a barbecue, which we did not get to enjoy much, but the fault is only the weather. But our parking place was very convenient. There is complete peace and quiet, it is very relaxing. The location is great - very close to the A11, in 1 hour you can get to Florence, 30-40 minutes to Pisa, 15-20 minutes to Lucca. And to countless other Tuscan beauties. Thank you to Graziella and Marco for the beautiful home, the wonderful welcome and the care they took for us!

A fabulous place in an amazing location. We sat in the garden everyday for breakfast looking at the beautiful views of Tuscany and San Gimignano. Marco was very helpful when we needed to contact him. The kitchen has all you need for 2 people if you want cook, but doesn’t have an oven just a combi microwave. Fridge Freezer was great for wine beer ice etc with plenty of space. Bathroom and shower also very good!
