Hot Tub & Amazing Ocean View |The Simple Peak *New

LaraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
If you are looking for a place to stay in Port Renfrew look no further! This house is AMAZING! The views are spectacular! It has an out door wood AND fire pit, a very comfortable hot tub that is heated to 104. It has an indoor wood stove. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. We took the ferry in from Victoria and stopped an hour into the drive at a village market and the liquor store across the street for supplies for our stay (it was a 2 hour drive) as the town market has very limited supplies. The host was VERY responsive answering back within 30 mins with any questions. All of the trails were within a 20 min drive and you can just walk down the beach from the house for a beautiful nature walk. Huge binder for checking in with tons of info and check out text to remind you what you need to do. Most seem less stay I had in the past 5 years. Very reasonable price for such a gorgeous house!

Creekside cabin w/ hot tub and sauna; close to ONP

JordanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing time at Diana’s cabin! Beautiful place with a lot of features that made it feel special and luxurious. The hot tub & sauna were amazing amenities to relax & recover after a long day of hiking. I highly recommend a cold plunge in the creek after roasting in the sauna — it’ll send electricity through your body! lol Tons of supplies and dishes available in the kitchen for cooking, and having three showers/baths available was great for our group. I went on a few solo morning walks and saw TONS of deer friends roaming around throughout the yards & neighborhood, felt very serene. My only regret is that we didn’t spend enough time in all of the beautiful areas in the backyard!

Modern Shawnigan Cabin near Kinsol Trestle

JosianeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

The perfect little cabin. We loved everything about it - the location, the cabin, the hot tub. Our only small complaint is that the bed was a bit soft for us, but that is totally a personal preference.

Luen’s place is a slice of heaven. We quickly extended our stay and began looking at property locally it was so beautiful. It was peaceful and everything you would want from an Island vacation. I would highly recommend to anyone and I know we’ll be back. Luen was responsive and provided lots of insight into the Island. Her recommendations on restaurants and adventures were spot on. Shannon’s place is an absolute hidden gem! If you are looking for a serene, tranquil, peaceful location hidden in a forest with tasteful decor and thoughtful touches, this is for you. My husband and I stayed here for part of our 10 year anniversary trip and it did not disappoint. Shannon gave us so many recommendations on things to do and see on the island. We thoroughly enjoyed evening spent at Ruckle park (a short 4 minute drive) where we saw whales and sea lions at sunset. A car is a must, travelling around to various sites would have been a challenge without it. At the cottage, coffee in the hottub was lovely. The outdoor shower is incredible! 10/10 recommend staying at Shannon’s.

Codfish Cottage Cabin on the Strait of Juan de Fuc

PamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was our home base for the HOH rainforest. The forest was about 2 hrs away. The place is gorgeous, we didn't want to leave. We could have stayed all week and found so many things to do locally. The windows were large and we were right on the ocean. The dishes were cute, there was a wine opener (which was key). It was quiet safe, the waves were so loud (very cool), our patio was cute. There was electricity! Just a few lights and outlets to still have a glamping feel without being on the screen all day. The bed and sheets were so comfortable. Some mistakes I made. 1. Get groceries in Sequim or Port Angeles. We stopped at a tiny market and were very limited then saw a whole store! 2. A lot of places weren't open after 8, so plan for dinner ahead. 3. We thought we had to get there because it would be so dark, but in the summer we should have not hurried, there was plenty of light even when the sun was gone.

Cabin Near Olympic National Park Port Angeles WA

AlexRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was an absolutely fabulous vacation spot! Jim's description is spot on. The most amazing part is the creek rushing by. We came at the beginning of June, so I don't know if it is always so zippy, but listening to the water the whole time was amazing. There's great screens on the windows, too, if you want to take a break inside and just open up and still feel like you're sitting on the porch. Despite being in a small neighborhood, the place feels secluded, like we were deep in the woods. Only an easy 15 minute drive to downtown Port A, though, so it felt like we had the town at our fingertips as well as nature. Our two chi's came with us and loved sitting on the porch with us. It was super easy to grab the pet linens right after coming in the front and spread them across the furniture so that we could have our chi's with us. They were right there and ready. Grateful that this it is dog friendly! Plenty of dog friendly restaurants in town, too.

Cozy Cabin+Dog Stay FREE+Hurricane Ridge+OlympicNP

HeidiRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a really wonderful time in the guest house. Our kids fell in love with the dogs and played with them outside nearly every day we got back from hiking. We are from a big city, so I was a little nervous about the door not having a padlock at first; but we felt safe the entire time. Lots of deer sightings in the area and the house had everything we needed. I made a reservation error, and the hosts were very gracious to accommodate my mistake. If you have elementary aged kids, they will really love this property. A great PNW vacation for us!

Saltaire Cottage

AlexandruRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tesja's cottage was the perfect, peaceful getaway we were hoping for our mini honeymoon. The cottage was immaculately clean, and had everything we needed: a BBQ, private hot tub and the add-on firepit was a nice addition to our stay. Her homemade and curated breakfast selections that awaited us was the cherry on top. Surrounded by nature, birds, and occasional deer, Tesja's cottage gave us a chance to unplug, relax and enjoy everything Salt Spring had to offer: nature, and a short drive away from the Ganges. Communication before and during our stay was great. We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future when in need of peaceful staycation.

Salt Spring Gite

GlennRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our 5 night stay at The Gite was a magical and peaceful retreat. The home offers a serene, bucolic escape that feels like stepping into a slower, more beautiful rhythm of life while conveniently located on the threshold of Ruckle Provincial Park. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Nancy who was lovely and welcoming. She set the tone for our cozy and comfortable experience. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed and radiates charm. It’s the kind of place that makes you say, “I can move in here!” One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying delicious homemade scones and muffins from Robert and delivered twice during our visit. It was a thoughtful and memorable touch that made us truly cared for. Each afternoon we watched deer wander across the great lawn for a nibble; a daily visit that only deepened our sense of calm and connection to nature. Whether you’re hiking through the adjacent park or soaking in the tranquility from the comfort of The Gite, this is a gem.

The Salish Sunset Cabin/Oceanfront Private Forest

ColinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We just sold a vacation property we ran for 10 years, we were anxious for a getaway where someone else did the cleaning ! The cabin was really lovely, lots of nice, thoughtful touches like handmade soap, good quality tea and coffee etc. We LOVED the record player and had such fun listening to many old faves, once we got the button sorted out for pitch hahahahah ! Made for a really good laugh. Do not disregard the warnings about the 4x4, the road is very steep and I couldn't imagine using a wagon to move my belongings from the top to the bottom. and back again. We had an SUV and were fine but I wouldn't try it in a small car. It is very peaceful here when the planes weren't overhead. It is located in a flight path, but it comes and goes. The bathroom is magical. So much thought has gone into it. Don't leave the blinds down and miss the view, no one will see you ! Really missed having a BBQ . If you have things you want to do , like the cidery, check for opening times.

Solitude at Sandcut, a true west coast experience.

I couldn’t rave more about John, not only did he have the most beautiful house for us to celebrate in, but his instructions for us to find beach access (our own private beach area too!) were clear and easy to follow. John was responsive and so helpful especially at the end of our trip. One of our cars couldn’t start and when we asked John if he had jumper cables he came and spent hours with us trying to get the car going! He is forever our angel, and an unforgettable person for our bachlorette getaway!
