Just west of the Hood Canal Floating Bridge, on the edge of Port Ludlow. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. Explore the Northeast corner of the Olympic peninsula on day trips in every direction, plus ferryboat trips nearby. It's spacious private apartment in a beautiful place.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This idyllic cottage on a private road is a few steps away from a trail into the Grand Forest yet the ferry terminal is less than ten minutes away. It is surrounded by majestic cedars and next to a quietly babbling brook on protected wetlands. The main house is further down the driveway.
