Cabin vacation rentals in Port Hope

Racquel and Yvonne were such lovely hosts and they made us feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked will all of the essentials for when we wanted to make a home cooked meal, and everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend their Cabin as a place to stay for a great weekend away from the city.

Eric is an amazing host and extremely accessible! Throughout our stay, he was committed to ensuring that we were accommodated in every way. The location is absolutely stunning and fully equipped with everything needed. Thank you Eric for sharing your beautiful home, we would love to visit again.

Beautiful little cabin, extremely peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. Kristin and Chris were very nice and it was great that our dogs could play together. Definitely would go back ☺️

Rented this place with a group of friends and had an amazing time! This place is super spacious and has everything you could need - lots of towels, linens, kitchen appliances/dish ware, games and more! The layout is perfect if you are going with a family or group. The boathouse is amazing with fantastic views. Aime was a fantastic host! Super responsive and very helpful. Would totally recommend this place and would absolutely book again!

Kate's retreat is a perfect getaway from the city. Quiet, private, with lots of nature surrounding the cottage. The sauna, hot tub, and fireflies at night - were the extras on top. Thanks so much.

Angie and Bill were lovely hosts and their cabin made us feel comfortable and at peace on our vacation straight away. Lots of amenities (eg kayaks, canoes, corn hole, bbq, fire pit, hot tub, tented outdoor space, etc) which were all great to have easy access to. Cabin was beautiful, clean, and a refreshing space. Would definitely recommend a stay. Thanks for the lovely and much needed weekend away from the busy city life!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Incredible stay! Nick’s cottage was spotless and beautifully designed. I was so impressed by the quality of the bedding and how clean everything was. The kitchen pantry was the best-stocked I’ve ever seen—we didn’t need a thing! We loved the homemade bread and had so much fun with the included kayaks and paddleboards. They even surprised my boyfriend with wine and a branded t-shirt for his birthday. Amazing attention to detail and fast, friendly communication. Can’t wait to come back!

The resort is beautiful. The gardens of plants were a welcome sight. I came with a difficult dog so that took enjoyment away. This little resort offers all the comforts of home and the water toys.

We had a wonderful stay at this magical Airbnb! The place looks exactly like the photos and description—if anything, it’s even better in person. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the cozy decor to the well-stocked amenities that made our stay super comfortable and convenient. The atmosphere is peaceful and charming, with little touches that really elevate the experience. Stephanie was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and stress-free. We loved our time here and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautifully curated space!

We had a fabulous time at Cozy Doe. We only stayed for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. The updated kitchen really does have every amenity you could need and is the perfect gathering place to cook and spend time together on chilly fall days. The whole place was very clean and had so much character with thoughtful details throughout. Would definitely recommend this cottage and would happily stay there again.

Our stay at Lyndsay’s was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beautiful location and the peaceful privacy it offered. The space itself was cozy, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into creating such a warm and welcoming environment. The host was fantastic—responsive, flexible, and genuinely committed to making sure our stay was enjoyable. Every detail, from the ambiance to the amenities, exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and recharge, this is it. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will be coming back in the future!

Christine’s place was absolutely beautiful and literally perfect for a cottage long weekend. the pictures don’t even do it justice. the dock out looked such a beautiful lake, great for water activities!! the beds worked out perfectly for 5 people, thought u could definitely fit 7, maybe 8. the kitchen was equipped with quite enough, and the bathroom had sanitary products which was so convenient. there’s also a soft tub which was super warm and so relaxing, and an entire bar room with darts overlooking the water! we had so so so much fun here and it was seriously such a beautiful cottage, don’t let the lack of reviews fool you!! absolutely loved this so much:)

The cottage (#2) is exactly like the description. Bring all prep and cooking utensils, bowls, pots, pans, toaster, can opener, bottle opener, towels, garbage bags, etc.. There are basic essentials like the description says- (small plates, cutlery, 2 frying pans, some bowls small glasses, 2 cup coffee pot, kettle, :). There is a bbq and massive deck attached to the cottage. A quick sweep of the deck got rid of the cobwebs 😂 Area was quiet and peaceful, all cottages face the water, lots of geese and goslings but they were not an issue. There are 2 convenience stores within 5 min (Hardwood & Gores Landing). About 15 min up the road in Bewdley there are 3 restaurants, a bait & tackle, Marina/rentals, convenience store with all essentials including souvenirs, post office, small park all on the waters edge. Port Hope & Coburg are about a 21 min scenic drive to bigger grocery store, gas, beach. We enjoyed the time, will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin! The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed with all the right appliances. The location was perfect, just a short walk to Main Street, parks, and the beach.

We enjoyed a relaxing weekend get away here. The cabin is cozy and well maintained. It's comfortable and has everything you need. The area is quiet and peaceful but populated with cottages up and down the road. We did some fishing off the dock, barbecued and sat around the fire pit into the night. Shelly was the most kind and accommodating host we've encountered on AirBnb. It's a great stay for anyone looking for an escape from urban life and far more comfortable than camping/glamping. Highly recommended!

This is one of the best place for family gateway. The place is exactly how it is in the pictures , amazing location and very peaceful neighborhood. Indy was one of the best host who response right away and she made sure everything went smooth during our stay. Host was very flexible and allowed us to stay longer before checkout too. I will highly recommend this place for anyone looking to book for a gateway. Thank you for having us Indy , will definitely book this place again .

Me and a few friends got to stay at Angielynns cottage this summer and really enjoyed it! A perfect weekend get away to relax and enjoy the lake. Would recommend & come back. The fire pit & dock are public but the neighbours were very friendly and welcoming - we really enjoyed their company.

Cute cottage with great amenities and host

Ashley's cottage was beyond our expectations with every well-thought detail making it a warm, rustic, authentic and cozy experience. It was also very beautiful in the snow, with our kids watching the snow fall from the windows next to their beds in the loft. The hosts had thought of everything, including things that we never knew we needed - blankets close to the couch to snuggle up for movie night, popcorn in the pantry, cheese sticks in the refrigerator, etc. While we were only looking for a place close to the ski hills for a few days, we ended up not wanting to leave the cottage much. It was a good thing that Uber Eats delivered to the place, which was very unexpected for us. All in all, this cottage was the most memorable Canadian winter home our family has stayed in. We would certainly hope to stay there again some day, perhaps for the next ski season!
