Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Port Hope

This was my second stay at The Red Brick House and we had a great time. The house is excellent, clean, in a good neighborhood and yet close to downtown. Easy communication with the hosts, I would highly recommend this ABNB.

Mitch’s place was perfect for our vacation! It’s in a peaceful area right off of a main road and the property itself feels very private. There’s plenty of amenities to enjoy like the theater, pool table, fire pit, and hot tub which was great especially on colder nights! Everything was very clean and we felt right at home. There is a railroad right across the street but it didn’t bother us in the slightest so I wouldn’t stress about it. We’re very light sleepers, too, and didn’t wake up to any trains at all throughout the week. Most of the trains that pass through are quite quiet anyways. If anything, it adds to the experience! Great stay & definitely would love to return in the future!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

Great place, comfortable, relaxed, with everything that you could need. On top of a great space, Pat was always very responsive and attentive. Will definitely be staying here again.

Martin’s home was the perfect getaway in Cobourg ! Very spacious, clean, and walking distance to the beach and the downtown area! Would highly recommend to any family coming to visit. Our only disappointment was discovering that the pool displayed on pictures was not functional.

Art’s place is one of the best places I’ve stayed at. It’s a big property with lots of space. The waterfront was pristine with clear water and no weeds. The interior has plenty of space to play games, enjoy the view and simply just relax. We would love to spend an entire week there the next time if Art would welcome us back.

We were looking for tranquility and we were not disappointed! Great location, well equipped, beautiful outdoor space, and friendly host. Christine was very accommodating and the house was exactly as advertised. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to everything. The garden is very peaceful and Dave, the gardner, is a gem. The outdoor space is wonderful. We highly recommend this place and Cobourg.

We recently went on a trip and stayed with Rajiv. The Airbnb was amazing, comfortable and clean. Its in a really nice neighborhood and easy to find. We highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I spent our first year anniversary at Lanny & Jennifer’s beautiful property. Right from the start, they made us feel right at home by greeting us and giving us a walk through of the property. We never felt so at home at an air b n b! The place is so well kept - clean, smelled great & had all the essentials. We felt safe and at home throughout the stay. The pool was well kept and the laundry was an amazing addition. The neighbour hood is quiet and close to all the stores. The hosts were extremely personable and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We highly recommend this property and we will be back!

Such a lovely spot. The views of the golf course and the natural light were magnificent. The space is tastefully decorated and very clean. The bed is comfortable.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Robin’s house was located very close to all the arena’s in Peterbourgh. We were there to watch our grandson play lacrosse. Hopefully they will return next year to this tournament. I will definetly be rebooking Robin’s loft. It was just as advertised. I also appreciated the selection of coffees. We really enjoyed our stay. The suite is spacious, clean and equipped well. The beds were nice and firm with lots of blankets. it's a great place to relax after a super busy day. The hosts were also super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

The basement-apartment was very spacious with 2 decent sized bedroom and a full kitchen. The quiet location was excellent, the house was extremely clean, and Arun was a very responsive host! It was a great experience for me and my family.

Gail’s apartment is a wonderful surprise. You climb the stairs to find a big, open, airy apartment that is so cozy and welcoming. The main living area has massive ceilings and is so pleasant to hang in, it’s sometimes hard to leave.

Beautiful home with classy decor. Home was cozy but scantily equipped with needed kitchen amenities. Be sure to read the house rules before booking! House rules are unnecessarily excessive, makes it uncomfortable to get that "home away from home" experience, so read the house rules before booking! Host must have had unpleasant situations with guests in the past. The house is gorgeously decorated and pristine, should be featured in a home magazine for real. Overall, we had a great stay!

I had the pleasure of returning to this wonderful Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as I remembered, if not better. Patricks place was a perfect mini get away thats close around the city! We absolutely loved how private and spacious his place is. The pool and sauna was needed on a hot day! Definitely will come back again!

This was excellent value, a beautiful lake view and an amazing primary suite. This house was perfect for 7 adults for a long weekend away. Would recommend and would definitely stay again

We recently stayed at this property while attending a graduation in Oshawa with a large group of 9 adults and 6 children. The space was spacious and able to comfortably accommodate our group, which was a huge plus. What truly stood out was how responsive and accommodating the hosts were throughout our stay. Anytime we had a concern or request, they responded promptly and made every effort to ensure we were comfortable. That level of attentiveness really made a difference for us. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for being so engaged and supportive!

Beautiful and serene neighborhood - we really enjoyed our daily walks there. Lots of different types of restaurants and grocery stores - only minutes of drive away. The house is better than advertised, wonderfully spacious, and well designed with 7 bedrooms, 7 beds, 7 baths, perfect for family reunions or groups of friends. Susan was a great host. Her instructions and responses were timely, concise, and easy to follow. We had a magnificent time in the house and will definitely stay in it if it is available when we come back in the future.
