Cabin vacation rentals in Northumberland County

Racquel and Yvonne were such lovely hosts and they made us feel right at home. The kitchen is stocked will all of the essentials for when we wanted to make a home cooked meal, and everything was spotlessly clean. Highly recommend their Cabin as a place to stay for a great weekend away from the city.

Kristin’s place was amazing, very peaceful time away. The place was very clean and Kristin was very quick to respond on any questions we had! We can’t wait to stay again!

This is a beautiful little cabin. Perfect size. Renovated really nicely. So cozy! Pictures are quite accurate. We didn’t stay long. Check in was at 5pm however we got there a little later than that. Our host met us there, turned on the sauna and showed me and checked the hot tub and showed me how to work both - very friendly and helpful. Bring coal if you plan to BBQ - it’s not a propane BBQ. River is across the street so you are not on directly on it. Kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, dishes, lots of towels etc… Thank you for the short but great stay!

The RalphLauren wood cabin was beautiful and spacious. Check in was simple and Jasmine was very friendly and responsive. Great place for a big group!

Host was responsive. We always got prompt reply about our query. Thanks Eugene. Denis was very helpful. Thanks for the pan Denis, we were able to make some eggs and fried some potatoes . Hot tub and sauna was fantastic.

Amazing place beside the trent river.

We were to check in on the day when a major storm was expected and Jose was very proactive in communicating and flexible in offering additional stay dates in case we were delayed. We have stayed at Jose's place over Christmas for the last 4 years and each year we return with incredible memories!

We enjoyed three nights at this secluded and charming cabin. Alexander went above and beyond as a host. Not only was he responsive and flexible when it came to our check in and check out, he also took the time to meet us when we arrived, showed us how to navigate the property, use the facilities and even provided us with enough firewood for the entire stay. The cabin itself is in a private, wooded area and has all the amenities we needed, including running water, somewhere to cook our food and a comfortable bed. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Place was very clean. Bob who takes care of everything was super helpful. Did some fishing which was fun. We took our pet birds and they felt right at home. Will certainly visit again. Thank you Ha Van 🙂

It was good to have a property manager on site. When we first arrived, the door was open. When we went out and locked the door, couldn’t get back in with the code that was sent to us. Thankfully the property manager was available to let us in using a different code. The property manager was very helpful overall during our stay.

we decided on a 5 day family vacation with my 2 boys and our French bulldog. we wanted something unique, off grid, peaceful and where we can connect as a family after a busy summer. the tiny oak cabin delivered all of the above. we were surrounded by beautiful scenery, forestry and incredible sunsets. fresh farm eggs were available for purchase as well as firewood making it easy to access! Andrea and her family were so pleasant and let my boys feed the farm baby goats. what a great experience from beginning to end. would definitely recommend!!!!

The cottage (#2) is exactly like the description. Bring all prep and cooking utensils, bowls, pots, pans, toaster, can opener, bottle opener, towels, garbage bags, etc.. There are basic essentials like the description says- (small plates, cutlery, 2 frying pans, some bowls small glasses, 2 cup coffee pot, kettle, :). There is a bbq and massive deck attached to the cottage. A quick sweep of the deck got rid of the cobwebs 😂 Area was quiet and peaceful, all cottages face the water, lots of geese and goslings but they were not an issue. There are 2 convenience stores within 5 min (Hardwood & Gores Landing). About 15 min up the road in Bewdley there are 3 restaurants, a bait & tackle, Marina/rentals, convenience store with all essentials including souvenirs, post office, small park all on the waters edge. Port Hope & Coburg are about a 21 min scenic drive to bigger grocery store, gas, beach. We enjoyed the time, will be back!

We had a great time here. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Very relaxing and quiet. We especially loved the fishing right off the docks on property or kayaking out to the middle of the lake with kayaks and life vests provided by host. There was also a fire pit and wood provided, which we didn’t use, but would have. We were just so tired at the end of the day that we went straight to bed. Beds we also comfortable and we slept great. Definitely would recommend staying here!

My wife and I stayed at one of the cabins. The cabin was in excellent shape, brand new mattress, brand new charcoal BBQ. We were provided with new folding camping chairs. The place was so nice and quiet. The property manager, Beth and husband Bill were so nice to us. Very helpful and kind. This is a seasonal camp ground so members of the camp were very friendly. I definitely recommend this place. I'm gonna be back, if not this year, next.

I miss it already! We absolutely loved our stay at Lodge, I can't say enough about it. From the moment we arrived the day we left, we were transported to a slower, more peaceful state of mind. The cabin itself is cozy yet stylish and extremely well built. We had the windows open all day and warmed ourselves with the woodstove at night. Michael provided us with everything we needed to stay there, we only had to go into town for food (which we got at the lovely local farm stand/grocer just fifteen minutes drive away). The sunsets were incredible. We saw the northern lights one night! Every morning we saw woke to see a family of deer in the misty field. If you're looking to disconnect and unwind, this is definitely the place for you! I truly can't wait to return.

This place is truly magical and Leslie is a wonderful host! She went above and beyond to ensure I had a great stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy a peaceful, cozy stay in the country. There are many trails, lots of wildlife, and great views on the property. The bedding and cabin are super comfortable, and the shared Hub space has everything you need… including a solar heated shower. Leslie thoughtfully created a guide for exploring the area, and she happily provided me with excellent recommendations. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had in 12 years of being a guest. I look forward to returning!
