Shepherds Hut, Llangollen, North Wales

Well appointed accommodation in a quiet rural location. Only 15 mins walk to the Pontcysyllte Acquesuct and 8 mins drive to Llangollen. Russell is a friendly and welcoming host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the BBQ and the lovely outdoor seating area. It's a great base for the outdoor activities , whether it be canoeing across the Aqueduct or walking to Castel Dinas Bran. We took in the Zip World at Penrhyn Quarry.

Peaceful retreat with sauna table tennis and views

BeverleyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Such a beautiful 3 bed cottage in a charming and peaceful location only 5 mins drive into Llangollen. Plenty of room for a family of 5. We thought the cottage looked better in real life than in the photos - clean and bright with lots of homely touches - record player in living room, lots of places to sit outside and blankets everywhere to cosy up with. We stayed in the are for a wedding but wished we were staying longer as there was more to do in the area than we thought. We did some walks into Llangollen via the back lanes - which took about 30 mins. Lots of lovely cafes, pubs and walks from there also. We will be back.

This cottage was in a great location for us to explore the area and visit the aqueduct. Added bonus was the cottage was lovely and cool which was a godsend for our dog as temperatures were climbing to 30degrees during our 3 day stay!

Fron Hyfryd Bach Apartment, Llangollen

Lovely place to stay. On arrival June came out to meet us with her lovely labrodoodles. We loved the little suprise hamper in arrival. All the the small touches were much appreciated. Wifi was down, but this didnt phase us as it was a phone/ wifi free holiday for us to relax. We did find the place difficult to get to, but we were given very clear details by June. Honestly all round lovely place and lovely host. Would stay again.

A beautiful cottage set in a lovely location. So peaceful and everything was thought of to make our holiday. It was home from home and was greeted with a bottle of wine and biscuits.

Elevated Quirky Cabin over River

This tree cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! It was so nice falling asleep to the sound of the running water in the river below and waking up to the sounds of the gorgeous birds chirping. 10/10 would highly recommend! Thanks for your above-and-beyond hospitality, Tiffany

Idyllic and peaceful setting, perfect venue to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday with large family gathering. Spacious house with rooms for plenty of folks. Pool table and dartboard an added bonus but the stunning views across the valley on a sunny day were the best ever. Driveway down to the house is a good test for your suspension but you don't get secluded rural majesty like this without a bit of adventure.
