Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. We are happy to provide info about the area and as we live next door, we are easily contactable if needed

The lodge

A newly renovated cottage attached to the barns of the main hall , with private parking and your own access. It is a perfect base for dog and hill walking. The lodge is surrounded by the fabulous Shropshire hills, a 5 minute walk to the nearest pub yet just 20 minute away from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is a private seating area outside the front of the lodge and access to the pony paddocks of you have a dog that needs a run around! Sports massage available next door on request !

The Garden Room is a private, off-grid apartment that is perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or looking to explore the area. It has basic cooking facilities along with a king size bed, a walk-in shower and a wood burning stove. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Plenty of wildlife - hares, deer and a recent night-time sighting of pine marten. Lovely up here this time of year - a big sky, far reaching views and rich autumn colours as the leaves begin to turn.

Just a 15 minute drive from the market town of Shrewsbury with plenty of restaurants and places of interest. Ideal location to just chill out in the hot tub or explore the beautiful gardens. We also have The Garden Studio, a modern 1 bedroom annex that is set within the large grounds. Both properties are totally private from each other.
