Stunning modern barn conversion holiday let

SiobhanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The converted barn was bigger than we expected and finished to a very high standard. It's spacious, cost and we all instantly felt at home. The private garden is beautiful and a really sun trap. We had planed to go for hikes and to the coast, but it was so peaceful and beautiful there, we spent the whole weekend relaxing in the garden. Helen was friendly, helpful and welcoming. This place is such a find we all want to come back again soon. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Lisa's beautifully cosy and immaculately clean cottage. Ideal for a tranquil break, and the view from the mezzanine is divine. Thank you for having us!
The exterior of The Old Kitchen is showcased, featuring a stone facade and grassy grounds adorned with blooming daffodils. A clear blue sky provides a bright backdrop. The structure includes multiple windows, with a door visible to the right, leading into the inviting space.

Cosy colourful farm cottage

What a great place, modern inside, extremely clean, spacious and quiet with an occasional hardly noticeable gentle rocking, i really liked it. The upstairs bed is surprisingly comfortable and there is a huge sofa downstairs if you prefer to sleep in the main room. The shower and toilet are small but perfectly functional with unlimited very hot water. How did they get all that furniture into the main room and still feel spacious? Great planning and design. No TV! Who needs one with a 5 bar reception on my phone hot spotted to my tablet. I had my electric unicycle which made it a short rive ride to the city centre. If you have a car make sure you watch the video, it's a one way road, you text or call the number to open the gate, exit gate is automatic. Accessibility: The ramp to the boat and the loft ladder to upstairs make it unsuitable for wheelchairs Improvements: Add a photo of the 2nd parking space and maybe a small shelf in the shower for soap so you don't burn yr bum on the tap!

Modern little hide away

A wonderful place to stay. In beautiful surroundings with dog walks on the door step. The house was spotless and the garden is very secure for dogs. Everything you could think of was provided such as spare toothbrush, plenty of linen, snacks and drinks. It felt like a home from home. Will definitely book again on our next visit to Wales.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little cottage on a working sheep farm. The location is stunning and has the feeling of being remote whilst being less than 10 minutes away from all shops and services. The hosts were very welcoming and super helpful with recommendations for places to eat and areas to explore. They live on the farm in their seperate house and were available if we needed them but never intrusive. The cottage was warm when we arrived, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We felt instantly at home. The bed is comfy, the shower is great and the kitchen is well equipped with all you need to cook a meal. The outside space is amazing with an enclosed private area next to a babbling stream, and also freedom to walk around the farm right from the front door. We had several lovely walks admiring the views and wildlife watching and from the high point behind the cottage we could even see the coast! I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this or any of the cottages.
A tranquil courtyard setting features natural stone paving and is surrounded by rustic stone walls. The barn conversion stands out with its wooden-framed doors and windows, and greenery from nearby trees enhances the serene atmosphere.

Fantastic location in the countryside. Exactly as described, a great place for hikers to get out into the surrounding nature. Siân was a fantastic, flexible and responsive host. Would 100% stay there again and recommend for anyone looking for a cosy place to stay on the doorstep of the Black Mountain
