Mesa Verde cabin

MichelleRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The cabin was exactly as described. All of the beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family of 5. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you could possibly be need. The RV park had a pool and 2 hot tubs. My kids enjoyed the pool after a day of hiking. Be careful when pulling into the RV park at night, the entrance isn't lit super great.

McElmo Inn with Hot Tub & Pond

MaryRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We visited Cortez for a Dark Sky adventure. In addition to visiting the national park/monuments in the area to see the night sky, we were able to enjoy the stars from the dock by the pond. The house is in a beautiful setting, which is very peaceful. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 7 adults. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when we asked for information on the area. The office area had lots of great maps and history information, too!

CANYON:Bunkhouse by Mesa Verde Nat'l Park

DeborahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at Bright Star Campgrounds! We especially appreciated the cleanliness of the bunkhouse, well lit paths around the grounds after dark, and the cleanliness of the restrooms. Only thing was we couldn't find the filtered water in the kitchen area. Thanks Kent for being so easy to contact especially since we arrived 4 hours later than planned!

"Fat Albert's Cabin" Private Riverfront Cabin

NancyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have stayed at a few places by rivers in Colorado, and this is our favorite by far. Jarka and Michael are warm welcoming hosts, greeting us when we arrived . The place is incredibly peaceful, the river just a few steps from the house. A fire pit for fires in the morning by the river was a favorite of ours, and well as cold plunges into the river where they have sculpted a soaking pool. We all slept incredibly well, ate out meals on the deck listening to the river. They have games, puzzles, books, and spaces to relax all over the property. This is a very special place, and I’m grateful we had the opportunity to spend a week here!

Secluded Cozy Cabin in the Forest

PaulRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We initially had a little trouble finding the cabin: the Google map attached took us up the neighbor's driveway. But after fumbling around a little we found it and moved in. (We stayed a week). Everything was as advertised: the kitchen facilities were fine (hot plate, microwave, refrigerator;no stove). The shower worked well, bed was comfortable, good chairs and tables. The single large room was set up well, and didn't feel cramped. No closet or other storage. We enjoyed being in it, and especially enjoyed sitting out in the rocking chairs on the porch. The WIFI was good. Lighting could have been better. Even with numerous lamps spread around, it was still a little dim for reading. The location for us was fabulous- every morning we walked up the dirt road 5 minutes to the Boggy Draw trailhead and walked a different trail before breakfast. We drove out to Hovenweep, to Mesa Verde, and one day made a long loop over Lizard Head Pass. Overall: High quality rustic cabin in the woods.

Secluded 4 br cabin near Durango

AimeeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
An absolutely amazing place. I loved the privacy. I was able to take my SUP to the lake and had it mostly to myself. Place was spotless and many bedrooms which were not pictured. Nice and close to Meas Verda. The view of the lake from upstairs was breathtaking. I would love to come again.

Bandit Ranch. A country escape in beautiful SW CO

JadeRating, 5 stars5 months ago
My husband and I rented the whole place for just the two of us and our two dogs. It’s large enough for a huge family to sleep comfortable, we spent the whole week playing pool and darts. Our dogs loved the property and we were able to take them on long private walks. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals daily. Dolores had great food and Cortez is only 15 minutes away which is larger for shopping. Alek was very responsive when we had any questions. Overall we really enjoyed this stay and had such a relaxing week to start our 2025 off right!

Mesa Verde Cabin-B

KatherineRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The Mesa Verde cabin was beautiful, airy, and open with great views of the surrounding mountains. We loved the wrap-around decking; with the various sliding doors open, the living area felt like a screened porch. The house was very spacious and the furnishings comfortable and tasteful. The place is unpretentious and homey, and its location is perfect for exploring Mesa Verde National Park, Durango, and driving the beautiful San Juan Skyway, a scenic byway. The small town of Mancos has a local grocery and a good brewery/restaurant; many other restaurant and grocery options and are available just 10-15 minutes away in Cortez. Miriam went out of her way to welcome us and to provide information about local attractions and things to do.

Serene Dolores Cabin w/ Patio & River Access!

Shelia And BrianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Not sure where to start, but check-in was easy, host was great and responsive (we never had any questions, but appreciate that they checked in with us), the space was immaculate, lots of little “extras”, beautiful scenery (so quite, too), the river view outside the kitchen window was awesome and I loved spending time near river on their provided chairs. There’s something about the sound of rushing water that is very relaxing to me! The little grocery store in town is great, try the homemade pastries by the register, they are delicious, and you have to go to Lost Fox coffee, too. We grilled one evening, and didn’t lack for ANYTHING. Our first kids had a blast, too!
