The house is tucked up a hill that has beautiful views! Teresa and her cohost have thought of everything. It was the little details that spoke volumes about the service they provide. Even though we brought our own toiletries there are times when people do forget some things., and Teresa had them covered if they did. There were individually wrapped toothbrushes and razors to name a few.. We will definitely be coming back for a float trip! This is a wonderful place to come and relax or to have fun with the water activities that are just down the road! Thank you so much!

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin was well designed, And the decorating is spectacular! And the views are absolutely breathtaking.! The only things we were disappointed in is, there are no screens on the window and the water pressure is very low.

We loved staying at ‘Smawlie’! The view was unbeatable and it felt so nice to take a break from every day hustle & bustle. I personally loved not having cell service at the cabin. It was spotless, had all of the listed amenities, and was exactly as described. Though tucked far back into the ‘middle of nowhere’, getting to the cabin via Mike’s provided instructions was easy. Not having service in the area, this was very important. We opted to hike up to the cabin despite having 4WD just because it is THAT steep and gravel. The weather was grey and a little cloudy when we arrived but the view did not disappoint. In the morning we got to watch the fog lift and the sun come through. The only grievance I had was some trouble with the hot tub. When we arrived at 3pm after a cold and rainy hike, the hot tub was cold. We followed the directions provided to “reset” and heat it up. we did not get to use it until the morning, and only for a short bit. Luckily, Mike let us check out a bit late

Oh my, if you’re looking for a peaceful, secluded stay, you’re in for a treat! The noise of the world was quieted in this pristine location, surrounded by rolling hills, pastures, a big open sky, and farm animals. Don’t expect to find much to do in the area, this is simply a retreat, away from the busyness of life. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here, particularly the quiet mornings on the porch overlooking the beauty and the evenings in the hot tub watching stars and being surrounded by almost complete darkness. We had a lovely chat with Kevin the first morning that we were there - he is very authentic, kind, thoughtful, and comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate returning to this gem!

My 3 friends and I stayed in this property for 3 nights when on a golf trip to Indiana north of Louisville. The property was immaculate, very clean and well appointed. There was plenty of dish ware, silverware and cooking utensils. Bedrooms were also in great condition and very clean. There were more than enough available activities (games, DVD’s, ping pong, etc.) to keep a family entertained for several weeks. An amazing deck with a gas fire pit and a hot tub overlooking a wooded area with a stream was very peaceful and relaxing. There were detailed instructions for using all the available amenities, including the TV and cable (which we didn’t find until the day we left which was our bad). There were even golf tees sitting out with a note to enjoy our golf trip. I could not imagine a better place to stay or a more welcoming host. THANK YOU

Absolutely everything you need and more for a rustic & quaint getaway on a budget. The tiny house was adorable with no problems. I always look for places that are unique and different from the common place roadside hotels. Jay and his team make this a wonderful experience.

My two sisters and I enjoyed our stay. It was so comfortable and homey and had everything we needed. I especially loved the very hot water in the shower and the heater in the ceiling above the shower.

The house was easy to find and as described in the listing. it is close to the downtown area and walkable to a couple restaurants. the back patio is a relaxing place to sit and enjoy listening to the birds. The kitchen is well stocked and everything was clean. Being able to park in the garage is a nice plus. The one slight downside was a place to keep toiletries was not present in the downstairs bathroom. we used a small counter in the kitchen which worked fine. the upstairs has a very private and spacious feeling and the upstairs bathroom has a large vanity by the sink. Be aware there are very low ceilings in part of the upstairs.

We loved our stay in this charming cabin! It had everything we needed for a laid-back, cozy weekend away. Our kids loved the loft space and the slopped attic ceiling paired perfectly with our movie projector! We cooked all our meals and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor space was lovely, well-kept and peaceful!

Another great stay at the lake house! We had some inclement weather this time and Daniel was kind enough to stop by several times and keep us informed on the road conditions and even showed us a back way out since some of the low water bridges in the area were flooded. He went above and beyond to make sure we were safe and enjoyed our stay.

Arriving at this Janice and Tom’s cabin, our jaws were on the floor. The cabin itself is gorgeous, surrounded by nature and with a wrap around porch to enjoy the sounds of the river and watch fireflies light up at dusk. The pool and pool house are where we spent most of our time. With lounge chairs, a fridge for snacks and drinks and views of the pond and forest, it was a great place to spend our days and cool off. Janice and Tom were communicative, helpful and kind! We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle. It was an incredible place to reconnect with friends and with nature. Thank you so much Janice and Tom!!

Everything we hoped for a weekend retreat. Who knew Paradise was in Rolla, MO?!’ Mike and Kate were amazing hosts—even bringing us some freshly baked cookies! The home is beautiful, the scenery is serene. We totally unplugged and lived in the moment! For birders, I recorded over 30 species of birds in a weekend! Will definitely come back!

this place is SO pretty. we went for our honeymoon and do not regret it. The bed was super comfy, so many outdoor games like cornhole and connect four and they have a really pretty stock tank pool. It rained while we were there and the rain on the tin roof was heavenly. We opened the barn doors and watched it rain. The AC was super cold (which WE LOVED) And the hosts were SO kind. the mini horses and donkeys were so cute and we loved feeding them. We will definitely be going back. if you're looking for a getaway, this is THE ONE. The hosts answer so fast and go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable. We very highly recommend this place. It's a little piece of heaven. The stars were so pretty at night.

This is a one of a kind place with indescribable views! So many great amenities and an extremely responsive host. Would definitely stay again!

Travis was an exceptional host. He provided an above and beyond experience for our family. It was a perfect place to hold our son’s Family Day from Army basic training. The location is within the 25 mile radius restriction for Family Day, as required. We had a few teenagers and adults and it was a comfortable space for everyone. Travis has thought of every detail. There were detailed instructions (along with a set of keys) on the kitchen counter regarding the AirBNB when we arrived. All of the light switches, thermostat, remote controls and drawers are labeled with instructions. There are plenty of towels and a few individual packages toiletries in the bathroom. The pool was clean and ready for use. Travis also had footballs and basketball for our boys to play. The bed was very comfortable and we rested well. The shower was nice and warm, which we love. We cannot recommend this Airbnb enough and will stay again if/when we return. Thank you Travis!

We had a great time! Tami was very responsive and super nice with all communications. There was a plumbing issue during our stay but they went over and above to make sure our needs were met. We would love to return if we are ever in the area again.

Oh my goodness what an amazing host! The little details in the place were so sweet and Sarah was so kind and easy to work with. It is a quaint, comfortable, sweet place and she obviously loves to make people feel at home. Details of nail clippers, ironing board, ibuprofen, the adorable dishes, games, books.. I could go on and on! It was so close to OU campus- I was attending graduation- but in a quiet little street. My niece is attending graduate school and I will absolutely stay with them again! Can't say enough nice things!!
